Training Objective:
This training programme is designed for Existing Entrepreneurs, Prospective Entrepreneurs, Working Professionals and Students looking at demystifying the business, finance, technology & regulatory landscape of solar energy. In this training programme, major information is focused on How to enter the business of Solar Energy? It will provide the excellent networking opportunities.
Course Curriculum:
DAY 1:
Solar PV Introduction: Sun radiation, Sun Position, Sun Hours, Module Tilt angle, Green House Effect
Technologies: Electromagnetic radiation, cell parameters, Type of cells, Cell production process, Solar PV modules Off Grid Application: Off Grid Fundamental Concept, Applications Videos: Solar Cell manufacturing, PV modules manufacturing
Off Grid Design: Off Grid System Design, Interconnection of PV modules, Type of batteries, Battery room
Solar PV on Grid Applications: Basic applications, Balance of system, Function of inverters, Anti islanding On Grid Design: String and Array sizing, Basic rules for String formation
Day 2: Hybrid Design: Hybrid solar system
Solar PV Installations: Installation on metal sheeting, concrete roof top and Ground mounted, Ingress protection
Solar PV Maintenance Repair: General cleaning, Inspection and monitoring, common troubles in PV system
Business Opportunities: lease model, net metering and PPA Economic Aspect: ROI and Pay back calculations NPV and IRR Other Aspects: MNRE registration, State policy

Day 3: Practical: 1) Off Grid System Demo
2) All the participants will be divided into groups. Each group will be provided with a working kit (including Solar panels, Inverter, wiring, suitable structure, tools and devices required). They will be asked to install a system by themselves under the guidance of our technical faculty. 3) Participants will be taken for a site visit to see a rooftop or power plant.
Day 4: Objectives of the Entrepreneurship Development Programme
• An overview about Entrepreneurship Development Workshop
• How to commercialize an Idea and connect with Entrepreneurship Mission. • Which are the basic functions involved in running an Enterprise • Emerging Trends of Entrepreneurship Development and new challenges to Entrepreneurs.
• How to calculate the Investment Capital required to fund an Idea or Business Venture. • How to Develop Capital Raising Capacity. • How to manage the Risk involved in running an enterprise
• What are the various Govt. of India Schemes available, to apply for aid in starting an Enterprise
• Benefits to the participants from Entrepreneurship Development Training & amp; the
NIESBUD Certificate.
