event introduction The Fleming Gulf’s Annual Asia Pacific District Cooling Conference has a long tradition of providing an international platform to present and discuss the latest developments in the application of District Cooling (DC) in Asia Pacific. As issues surrounding the pending energy crisis take the front seat in business & regulation, Asia Pacific has emerged as the new best market in which wider adoption of DC is expected to take off in a big way, for example, the Thailand 20-Year Energy Efficiency Development Plan (2011 - 2030) (EEDP) has reinforced the idea of adopting greater energy efficient solutions. As such the Conference introduces variety of technologies that can be applied in DC , with a special emphasis on adopting environmental friendly, green technologies & utilizing renewable energy resources to help propel the EEDP vision targets.the vision of the 4th Annual district cooling conference is to provide a platform for:• Professional development• Learning• Sharing of experiences• Networking & creating useful business links with peers.Beyond the technical sessions and interactive panel discussions during the Conference, we have included a Site Visit (technical tour) featuring a trip to one of the best operated District Cooling plants in Thailand, plus the much anticipated 2nd Annual Asia Pacific District Cooling Awards.
