Forgiveness is releasing another

Jesus desire is to keep conflict in assmall a group as possible. His intentis that the two people involved solve

the problem themselves.

As the number of people involved in

a conflict between two individualsincreases, the more contention is

people together, not drive them

farther apart. The one or two whojoin the offended party come in

Christian love and compassion ascounselors and prayer partners inorder to participate in bringing two

estranged people together.

When all attempts do not work,Jesus instructs us to bring the issuebefore the church. The appropriate

place to bring the issue, is thechurch board.

Again, Christs purpose isreconciliation. It is not to blame one

party and exonerate the other.
