    VOLTAGE CONTROL

    The S inuMEC is b uilt a round pa tented RIG HTVolta ge tec hnolog y w hich ena bles c ontrolof the volta ge supplied to the AC moto r. B y utilizing proprieta ry me thod s for co mbiningthree-pha se voltag e vec tors (V V C - Voltag e Vec tor Comb ina tion), the S inuMEC co ntrolsvoltage a mplitude w hile keeping pure s inusoida l wa veform, without generating ha rmonicsa nd is EMI/RFI free. The S inuMEC a utoma tica lly c ontrols the volta g e s upplied to themotor, a cc ording to its loa d. In this wa y, the o peration is o ptimized while keeping thesa me o perating co nditions. By reduc ing the voltag e, the S inuMEC d ynamically a djuststhe ful l motor power to 100%, 50% or 25% of i t s or ig inal power ra t ing .

    CONNECTION MODESThe S inuMEC c a n be co nnected bo th in-line to the motor a nd inside the moto r delta(See diagram on the left). In-line connection provides the maximum performancewhile inside delta connection provides great economical value.

    When connected in-line to the motor, the motor receives one of three voltages (L-L):400v/300v/220v in 400v/50Hz ne tw ork or 480v/360v/265v in 480v/60Hz netw ork. Forthis connection, the SinuMEC should be rated at 100% of the motor rated current.

    When connected inside the delta, the motor receives one of three voltages (L-L):400v/310v/290v in 400v/50Hz ne tw ork or 480v/370v/350v in 480v/60Hz ne tw ork. Forthis co nnection, the S inuMEC s hould be ra ted a t 58% of the mo tor ra ted current. Forexample, a 75A motor can be operated using a 43A SinuMEC.

    INTEGRAL BYPASS CONTACTORThe SinuMEC ha s a n integral bypa ss co ntac tor that ca n be operated a t one of thefollow ing co nditions :
