INSTRUCTIONES DE SEGURIDAD IMPORTANTES
(ESTE APARATO ES PESADO)
Cuando use el calefactor, deberían tenerse en cuanta algunas precauciones básicas de
seguridad para reducir el riesgo de quemaduras, fuego, cortocircuitos, daños personales o
materiales:
1. Para evitar quemaduras en la superficie, no se exponga ni acerque su piel a las
superficies claientes.
2. Mantenga los objetos, materiales y sustancias inflamables incluyendo cualquier tipo de
mueble, almohada, sábanas, papeles, ropa, cortinas, etc. a una distancia mínima de al
menos dos metros desde la parte superior del calefactor hasta la resistencia eléctrica.
3. No deje el calefactor en funcionamiento. Apague siempre el interruptor cuando no esté
en funcionamiento. El calefactor tiene un sistema de seguridad y se apaga
automáticamente cuando el calefactor se inclina hacia un ángulo de aproximadamente
45 grados o mayor desde la posición vertical.
4. Es necesario extremar la precaución cuando el calefactor se usa cerca de niños o
discapacitados y siempre que se deje en funcionamiento cuando no hay nadie. Asegúrese
de que los niños que usen el calefactor hayan recibido las instrucciones correctas y sean
supervisados. Mantenga a los más jóvenes alejados del calefactor especialmente si visten
prendas que pueden quedar atrapadas en él y prenderse fuego.
5. No utilice el calefactor si el cable o alguna de sus partes eléctricas presenta daños o
averías, o no funcionan adecuadamente. No ponga en marcha el calefactor si ha sufrido
una avería, se ha caído o dañado de alguna manera. Devuelva el calefactor al servicio
autorizado para que lo revisen adecuadamente o lo reparen antes de volver a ponerlo en
funcionamiento.
6. Utilice el calentador según se describe en este manual. Cualquier otro uso no
recomendado por el fabricante puede dañar el calefactor o causar quemaduras, fuego,
cortocircuitos, daños personales o materiales.
7. El calefactor debe instalarse según los códigos de electricidad correspondientes.
8. Asegúrese de que el cableado doméstico es adecuado para el calefactor eléctrico.
9. No deje que ningún objeto extraño obstruya o se inserte la apertura del motor de
ventilación ya que esto puede dañar el calefactor o causar quemaduras, fuego,
cortocircuitos, daños personales o materiales.
10. No use el calefactor cerca de áreas en las que la gasolina, la pintura o cualquier objeto,
sustancia o material inflamable se use o almacene.
11. Do not install heater closer than minimum clearances of two meters to any surface.
12. No instale el calefactor en una altura menor a los 2 m. desde el suelo o alfombra.
13. El servicio y limpieza debe hacerse sólo mientras el calefactor está desconectado del
circuito del suministro eléctricoy el calefactor se ha enfriado hasta alcanzar la
temperatura de la habitación.
14. El servicio y limpieza debe hacerse solamente cuando el calefactor esté desconectado del
circuito de electricidad y el calefactor se ha enfraido hasta alacanzar la temperatura de
la habitación.
15. El calefactor debe estar bien fijado al suelo eléctricamente y polarizado correctamente
antes de ser usado. Conéctelo sólo a una salida de electricidad polarizada.
16. Instale, coloque y use este calefactor sólo de acuerdo con las instrucciones descritas de
este manual.
17. Existe riesgo de coretocircuito cuando se conecta por primera vez o repara este
calefactor, por lo que un técnico debidamente cualificado y con experiencia debería
llevar a cabo estas tareas. No intente hacerlas usted mismo.
18. No toque el calefactor si está mojado.
19. No cubra o almacene ningún objeto o sustancia sobre el calefactor mientras está en
funcionamiento.
20. No sumerja ninguna parte del calefactor en agua o cualquier otro líquido.
21. No sumerja el cable o el enchfe del calefactor en agua o cualquier otro líquido.
22. Mantenga el cable y el enchufe alejados del calefactor y de la superficies calientes.
23. No deje que el cable cuelgue desde la parte superior del calefactor cuando éste está en
funcionamiento.
24. Cuando limpie el calefactor, use solamente agua y una esponja o paño suave. Evite
poner en marcha el calefactor si alguna parte de éste no está completamente seca para
evitar quemaduras, fuego, cortocircuitos, daños personales o materiales.
25. No quite o intente reparar la resistencia eléctrica.
26. Nunca use utensilios afilados cerca del calefactor.
27. El calefactor necesita constantes revisiones y limpieza. La suciedad o abandono del
calefactor representa un riesgo de incendio.
28. Nunca cubra el cable con alfombras o muebles. Esto puede causar sobrecalentamiento y
provocar un incendio. Si el cable está dañado, debe ser sustituido por personal técnico
debidamente cualificado y con experiencia.
29. Mientras el calefactor esté encendido, no toque o ponga la mano enfrente de la
resistencia para evitar quemaduras.
30. El sistema de potencia eléctrica debe poder soportar un mínimo de 16amperios, 240V
para series de calefactores un EPT800 y la salida de potencia eléctrica debe estar
instalada correctamente, así como bien fijada al suelo y de acuerdo con todos los códigos
de electricidad necesarios.
31. El calefactor siempre debe estar seco cuando sea usado.
32. No ponga este calefactor en las proximidades de una bañera, ducha o piscina.
33. Asegúrese de que el calefactor está sobre el suelo plano para evitar que se balancee.
34. El calefactor no debe ser colocado justo enfrente de un enchufe con salida de
electricidad.
35. No use este calefactor con un programador, temporizador u otro aparato que encienda
el calefactor automáticamente, ya que existe riesgo de incendio si la unidad se cubre,
desplaza o coloca incorrectamente por equivocación.
36. La gasa de metal protectora de este calefactor está destinada a evitar el acceso directo a
la resistencia eléctrica y debe estar en su lugar siempre que el calefactor esté en
funcionamiento.
37. El calefactor no debe estar en funcionamiento sin que la gasa de metal protectora esté en
su lugar.
38. El calefactor no está diseñado para ser usado por personas (niños incluídos) con
capacidades sensoriales, mentales o físicas reducidas o con falta de experiencia o
conocimiento, a menos que tengan supervisión o instrucciones acerca del calefactor por
una persona responsible por su seguridad.
39. Los niños deben ser supervisados para asegurarse de que no juegan con la unidad.
40. ADVERTENCIA: Este calentador no está equipado con un dispositivo para controlar la
temperatura ambiente. No utilice este calentador en espacios pequeños cuando están
ocupados por personas que no son capaces de salir de la habitación por su propia
cuenta, a menos que cuenten con una supervisión constante.
41. Los niños de menos de 3 años se deben guardar lejos menos que sean supervisados
continuamente.
42. Niños de edades comprendidas entre 3 años y menos de 8 años sólo podrá encender /
apagar el aparato, siempre que haya sido colocado o instalado en su posición normal de
funcionamiento previsto y que sean supervisados o instruidos acerca del uso del aparato
de una manera segura y comprender los riesgos que entraña. Los niños de 3 años y
menos de 8 años no podrán conectar, regular y limpiar el dispositivo o realizar el
mantenimiento del usuario.
43. PRECAUCIÓN - Algunas partes de este producto puede estar muy caliente y causar
quemaduras. Particular atención debe ser dada en que los niños y las personas
vulnerables están presentes.
44. El cable y / o el enchufe puede llegar a ser muy caliente durante el uso normal, sobre
todo cuando se trabaja durante largo período de tiempo y / o en ambientes con altas
temperaturas. Tenga cuidado al manipular y utilizar el cable y el enchufe. No cubra o
restringir el flujo de aire alrededor de la cuerda y el enchufe de ninguna manera.
Temperatura excesiva del cable y / o el enchufe puede resultar.
Atención
Ponga especial atención en los siguientes asuntos siempre que tenga la unidad en marcha:
1. Eduque o enseñe a su hijo/a o persona discapacitada a no usar el calefactor cuando está
solo.
2. No deje ningún objeto inflamable cerca del calefactor.
3. El sistema de potencia debería poder soportar un mínimo de 16 amperios, 240V en un
calefactor de la serie EPT800.
INSTALACIÓN
LA SIGUIENTE INFORMACIÓN DEBE SER TENIDA EN CUENTA ANTES DE
INSTALAR EL CALEFACTOR. EL CUMPLIMIENTO DE LA SIGUIENTE
INFORMACIÓN REPERCUTIRÁ EN EL FUNCIONAMIENTO CORRECTO Y
MINIMIZARÁ LOS COSTES DE EQUIPO.
El calefactor está embalado cuidadosamente y se transporta en buenas condiciones. Si
encuentra daños que se hayan podido ocasionar durante el transporte, por favor notifíquelo al
vendedor inmediatamente.
Quite los materiales de plástico tanto de dentro como de fuera del calefactor antes de usarlo.
Este calentador no está diseñado para uso industrial.
El calefactor debe ser instalado en superificies planas y sólidas.
Deje un espacio mínimo de 2 m. en la parte superior del calefactor hasta cualquier otra
superficie.
INSTRUCCIONES DE LA PUESTA A TIERRA
El calefactor debe estar bien fijado al suelo y polarizado correctamente antes de su uso. En el
transcurso de un cortocircuito eléctrico, una puesta a tierra adecuada reducirá el riesgo de de
descarga eléctrica a través de un cable de escape para la corriente eléctrica.
Este calefactor está equipado con un enchufe de puesta a tierra. El sistema de energía eléctrica
debe ser capaz de soportar al menos 16 amperios, 240V en un calefactor de la serie EPT800 y
la salida de potencia eléctrica debe estar instalada correctamente de acuerdo con los códigos ce
seguridad eléctrica correspondientes.
Para un funcionamiento correcto, no debe usarse ningún otro aparato que no sea este
calefactor en el mismo circuito eléctrico. Consulte a un técnico debidamente cualificado y con
experiencia si las instrucciones de puesta a tierra no son del todo claras o si queda alguna duda
respectoa a si la unidad está correctamente colocada sobre el suelo.
CABLES DE EXTENSIÓN
Para evitar sobrecargar el circuito eléctrico, evite usar cables de extensión. Este calefactor está
suministrado con un enchufe precableado y un cable eléctrico con una longitud adecuada. Es
necesario que haya un enchufe eléctrico apropiado colocado a una distancia del calefactor
equivalente a la longitud del cable eléctrico y sea fácilmente accesible.
ADVERTENCIA
PARA PROPORCIONAR UNA PROTECCIÓN CONTINUADA CONTRA POSIBLES
DESCARGAS ELÉCTRICAS, CONECTE SÓLAMENTE LAS SALIDAS DE
ELECTRICIDAD.
EL USO INADECUADO DEL CABLE DE PUESTA A TIERRA PUEDE RESULTAR
EN RIESGO DE DESCARGA ELÉCTRICA. ESTE CALEFACTOR NO DEBE SER
USADO AL MISMO TIEMPO QUE UN TEMPORIZADOR, PROGRAMA O
CONTROL TÉRMICO O CUALQUIER OTRO APARATO QUE ENCIENDA LA
UNIDAD AUTOMÁTICAMENTE, YA QUE EXISTE RIESGO DE INCENDIO SI EL
CALEFACTOR SE CUBRE O DESPLAZA POR ACCIDENTE.
BAJO NINGUNA CIRCUNSTANCIA CORTE O DESCONECTE EL 3ER EXTREMO
DE PUESTA A TIERRA.
DEBE TENER PRECAUCIÓN EXTREMA CUANDO EL CALEFACTOR SE USE
CERCA DE NIÑOS O PERSONAS DISCAPACITADAS Y SIEMPRE QUE EL
CALEFACTOR SE DEJE EN FUNCIONAMIENTO CUANDO NO HAYA NADIE.
ASEGÚRESE DE QUE LOS NIÑOS SABEN CÓMO ACTUAR Y ESTÁN
SUPERVISADOS ADECUADAMENTE.
SIEMPRE QUE EL CALEFECTADOR ESTÉ EN FUNCIONAMIENTO, MANTENGA
LOS OBJETOS, SUSTANCIAS O MATERIALES INFLAMABLES ALEJADOS DEL
CALEFACTOR, SEPA DONDE ESTÁ SITUADO EL EXTINTOR DE FUEGO ,ÁS
CERCANO Y CÓMO USARLO. ASEGÚRESE DE QUE SABE APAGAR UN FUEGO
PROVOCADO POR CUALQUIER TIPO DE MATERIAL CERCA DEL
CALEFACTOR. SIGA LAS REGLAS DE SEGURIDAD ANTI-INCENDIO PARA USAR
APARATOS O EQUIPOS QUE NECESITAN MUCHO CALOR.
EVITE TENER EL CALEFACTOR EN FUNCIONAMIENTO CUANDO UNA PARTE
DE ÉSTE (INCLUYENDO CABLEADO Y ENCHUFES) NO ESTÉ DEL TODO SECA O
HAYA UNA BAÑERA, DUCHA O PISCINA EN LAS PROXIMIDADES.
NO PONGA EN FUNCIONAMIENTO EL CALEFACTOR DESPUÉS DE UNA
AVERÍA, UN MAL USO, O SI SE HA CAÍDO O ESTROPEADO.
APAGUE EL CALEFACTOR SIEMPRE ANTES DE IR A LA CAMA.
EVITE ABRIR LA UNIDAD O TRATAR DE VER SU INTERIOR CUANDO ÉSTA ESTÁ EN MARCHA
MONTAJE
Advertencia: Por favor monte la unidad siguiendo los procedimientos a
continuación y asegúrese de que el cableado eléctrico está conectado
correctamente y los segmentos del polo medio están bien asegurados.
(1) Quite todas las partes de la cubierta de cartón y plástico y déjelas en el suelo, alfombra o
cartón para su montaje. ESTE CALEFACTOR ES PESADO. Revise que la unidad no ha
sufrido ningún daño durante el transporte.
(2) Desenrosque los (15) tornillos del embalaje de plástico suministrados para el montaje.
(3) Inserte el cableado de la resistencia eléctrica y conecte el enchufe que va desde la resistencia,
a través del segmento con la etiqueta de advertencia del polo medio (tubo que sobresale)
como se muestra en la Figura 1.
(4) Alinee los agujeros del tornillo de este elemento del polo medio con el conjunto de la
resistencia y conecte este segmento del polo medio al conjunto de la resistencia eléctrica y
asegure la misma con 3 de los tronillos proporcionados, como se muestra en la Figura 1 y,
después de que los 3 tornillos estén colocados en su sitio, aprételos para asegurar el segmento
adecuadamente.

(5) Inserte el cableado de base a través del segmento del polo medio (tubo que sobresale) como
se muestra en la Figura 2.
(6) Alinee los agujeros del tornillo de este segmento con los del conjunto de la base y asegure los
mismos con 6 de los tornilos proporcionados como se muestra en la Figura 2. Después de
que los 6 tornillos estén en su sitio, apriételos para asegurar el segmento adecuadamente.

(7) Conecte el segmento que queda (sólo para modelos Free-Standing) del polo medio (tubo que
sobresale), alinee los agujeros de los tornillos en los segmentos del polo medio y asegure los
mismo con los tornillos restantes proporcionados como se muestra en la Figura 3 y, después
de que los 3 tornillos estén fijados en su lugar correspondiente, apriételos para asegurar los
segmentos adecuadamente .

(8) Ponga en posición vertical tanto el conjunto de la base como el conjunto de la resistencia
eléctrica, conecte el cableado de la resistencia eléctrica al cableado de la base con enchufes
eléctricos en los extremos de estos cables, ordene los cables eléctricos y sitúelos en el centro
del polo medio como se muestra en la Figura 4.
(9) Alinee los agujeros de los tornillos en estos 2 segmentos del polo medio y conecte estos
segmentos el uno al otro y asegure los mismos mediante 3 tornillos proporcionados, como se
muestra en la Figura 4 y, después de que estos tornillos estén en su lugar, apriételos para
asegurar los segmentos adecuadamente.

Primer paso ： Monte el calefactor según las instrucciones de montaje.
Segundo Paso： Conecte este calefactor adecuadamente al sistema de suministro eléctrico correcto
según las instrucciones.
Tercer paso： Conecte la alimentación eléctrica y pulse el interruptor para un funcionamiento
correcto.
CUIDADO Y MANTENIMIENTO
DESCONECTE EL CALEFACTOR Y ASEGÚRESE DE QUE SE HA ENFRIADO HASTA
ALCANZAR LA TEMPERATURA DE LA HABITACIÓN ANTES DE REALIZAR TAREAS
DE LIMPIEZA O DE MANTENIMIENTO.
Para mantener el calefactor en buen estado, no use agentes abrasivos para la limpieza ( polvos
limpiadores, estropajos, estropajos de aluminio o detergentes con gránulos). Rocíe agua en un paño o
esponja y después limpie. Evite que el calefactor esté en marcha en cualquier momento que alguna
de sus partes pueda no estar completamente seca para evitar riesgos de quemaduras, descargas
eléctricas, daños personañes o materiales.
Para obtener el mejor rendimiento del calefactor, se recomienda hacer lo siguiente una vez al año:
con un caudal de aire debidamente regulado de una manguera de aire, desprenda el polvo y la
suciedad que se ha acumulado en la resistencia y superficies brillantes. Almacene el calefactor en un
lugar resguardado, seco y sin polvo y aegúreses de que las partes brillantes y la resistencia eléctrica
están protegidos de cualquier daño.

USING THIS HEATER (THIS APPLIANCE IS HEAVY)
When using heater, basic safety precautions should always be followed to
reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock, personal injury or damage to
property:
1. To avoid surface burns, do not let exposed or bare skin touch hot surfaces.
2. Keep combustible objects, substances or materials, including (without
limitation) furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes and curtains at least
two meters from the top of the heater and the heating element.
3. Do not leave the heater operating and unattended and always turn off the
power of heater when not in use. This heater has a safety tilt auto shut-off
device which will activate when this heater tipped to an angle of
approximately 45 degrees or greater from the vertical position.
4. Extreme caution is necessary when heater is used by or near children or
invalids and whenever heater is left operating and unattended. Make sure
children are properly instructed and closely supervised whenever heater is
operating. Keep young children away from heaters, particularly when they
are wearing garments that can be drawn into heater by a draft and ignited.
5. Do not operate heater if it has a damaged or malfunctioning cord, plug or
any other electrical parts, or is not working properly in any manner. Do not
operate heater after it malfunctions or has been misused, dropped or
damaged in any manner. Return heater to authorized service facility for
examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repair before operating
heater.
6. Use heater only as described in this Manual. Any other use not
recommended by manufacturer may damage heater or cause burns, fire,
electric shock, personal injury or damage to property.
7. Heater must be installed according to all applicable electric codes.
8. Be sure your house wiring is adequate for operating heater.
9. Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter or block any ventilation or
exhaust opening as this may damage heater or cause burns, fire, electric
shock, personal injury or damage to property.
10. Do not use heater in or near areas where gasoline, paint, or any flammable
object, substance or material is used or stored.
11. Do not install heater closer than minimum clearances of two meters to any
surface.
12. Do not install heater less than minimum height of two meters from the floor
and/or carpet.
13. Servicing and cleaning should be done only while heater is disconnected
from the electricity supply circuit and heater has cooled down to room
temperature.
14. Heater must be electrically grounded/earthed and properly polarized before
use. Connect only to a properly grounded/earthed and polarized electricity
power outlet.
15. Install, locate and use this heater only in accordance with the installation
instructions described in this Manual.
16. There is a danger of electrical shock when servicing or repairing this heater.
Do not attempt to service or repair this heater. This heater should be
serviced or repaired only by duly qualified and experienced electrical
technician.
17. Do not touch heater when you are wet.
18. Do not cover or store any object, substance or matter on top of heater while
in use.
19. Do not immerse any part of heater in water and/or any other liquid.
20. Do not immerse cord and/or plug in water and/or any other liquid.
21. Keep cord and/or plug away the top of heater and from heated surface.
22. Do not let cord hang on top of heater when heater is operating.
23. When cleaning heater, use only water with a sponge or soft cloth. Avoid
operating heater at any time when any part of the heater is not completely
dry to reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock, personal injury or
damage to property
24. Do not remove or attempt to repair the heating element.
25. Never use sharp-edge utensils or objects near heater.
26. Heater needs frequent checkups and cleaning. Dirty or neglected heater is a
fire hazard.
27. Never cover the cord with carpeting and furniture. This could cause the cord
to overheat and may start a fire. If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced
by duly qualified and experienced electrical technician.
28. Do not touch or place hand in front of the heating element while it is
working to avoid getting burned.
29. The electric power system must be able to carry a minimum of 16-amp 220-
240V circuit for an EPT800 series heater and the electric power outlet must
be properly installed and grounded/earthed in accordance with all applicable
electric codes.
30. The heater must be used in a completely dry condition.
31. Do not place this heater in immediate vicinity of a bath, shower or
swimming pool or the like.
32. Please make sure the heater rests on flat ground to avoid toppling.
33. The heater must not be located immediately below an electric power socket
outlet.
34. Do not use this heater with any programmer, timer or other device that
switches the heater on automatically, since a fire risk exists if the heater is
accidentally covered, displaced or positioned incorrectly.
35. The protective metal gauze of this heater is intended to prevent direct access
to heating elements and must be in place when the heater is in use.
36. The heater must not be operated without the protective metal gauze in place.
37. The heater is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the heater by a person responsible for their safety.
38. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
heater.
39. WARNING: this heater is NOT equipped with a device to control the room
temperature . Do not use this heater in small rooms when they are occupied
by persons not capable of leaving the room on their own, unless constant
supervision is provided.
40. Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously
supervised.
41. Child aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the
appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal
operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in,
regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.
42. CAUTION - Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause
burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable
people are present.
43. The cord and/or plug can get quite warm during normal use, particularly
when operating for extended period of time and/or in high ambient
temperatures. Use caution when handling and using the cord and plug. Do
not cover or restrict airflow around the cord and plug in any manner.
Excessive temperature of the cord and/or plug may result.
Attention
Pay attention to the following safety matters when using the heater:
1. Educate or instruct your child and/or infirmed person(s) not to use the heater
alone.
2 Do not leave any inflammable goods near the heater.
3 The power system should be able to carry a minimum of 16-amp 220-240V
circuit for an EPT800 series heater.
INSTALLATION THE FOLLOWING SHOULD BE REVIEWED AND ADHERED TO PRIOR TO
INSTALLING HEATER. COMPLIANCE WITH THE FOLLOWING WILL YIELD
SATISFACTORY HEATER OPERATION AND MINIMIZE EQUIPMENT COSTS.
The heater is carefully packed and shipped in good condition. If you find shipping
damages, please notify the dealer immediately.
Remove all packing materials both inside and outside the heater before using it.
This heater is not designed for industrial use.
The heater should be installed on flat and solid grounds.
Allow at least two meters of space on the top of the heater, minimum clearances of
two meters from heater to any surface.
GROUNDING/EARTHING INSTRUCTIONS
The heater must be electrically grounded/earthed and properly polarized
before use. In the event of an electrical short circuit, grounding/earthing reduces
the risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current.
This heater is equipped with a grounding/earthing plug. The electric power system
must be able to carry a minimum of 16-amp 220V-240V circuit for an EPT800
series heater and the electric power outlet must be properly installed and
grounded/earthed in accordance with all applicable electric and safety codes.
For proper operation, no other appliance should be on the same electric circuit as
this heater. Consult a duly qualified and experienced electrical technician if the
grounding/earthing instructions are not completely understood, or if doubt exists as
to whether this heater is properly and electrically grounded/earthed.
EXTENSION CORDS
Avoid overloading the electric circuit. Avoid using extension cords. This heater is
supplied with a pre-wired electric plug and electrical flex of a suitable length. It is
necessary for a suitable electrical socket to be located within a distance of the heater
equivalent to the length of the electrical flex and be easily accessible.

TO PROVIDE CONTINUOUS PROTECTION AGAINST ELECTRIC SHOCK
CONNECT TO PROPERLY GROUNDED/EARTHED OUTLETS ONLY.
IMPROPER USE OF THE GROUNDING/EARTHING PLUG CAN RESULT IN
A RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK. THE HEATER MUST NOT BE USED IN
CONJUNCTION WITH ANY TIMER, PROGRAMME OR THERMAL
CONTROL, OR ANY OTHER DEVICE THAT WILL SWITCH ON THE
APPLIANCE AUTOMATICALLY, AS A FIRE RISK MAY OCCUR IF THE
HEATER IS ACCIDENTALLY COVERED OR DISPLACED.
DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, CUT OFF OR DISCONNECT
THE 3RD GROUNDING/EARTHING PRONG.
EXTREME CAUTION IS NECESSARY WHEN HEATER IS USED BY OR
NEAR CHILDREN OR INVALIDS AND WHENEVER HEATER IS LEFT
OPERATING AND UNATTENDED.
MAKE SURE CHILDREN ARE PROPERLY INSTRUCTED AND CLOSELY
SUPERVISED.
WHENEVER HEATER IS OPERATING KEEP COMBUSTIBLE OBJECTS,
SUBSTANCES OR MATERIALS AWAY FROM HEATER, KNOW WHERE
THE NEAREST FIRE EXTINGUISER IS LOCATED AND HOW TO USE IT.
KNOW HOW TO PUT OUT FIRE FROM ALL TYPES OF MATERIAL NEAR
THE HEATER. OBEY THE FIRE-SAFETY RULES FOR USING APPLIANCE
OR EQUIPMENT THAT OPERATES AT EXTREMELY HIGH HEAT.
AVOID OPERATING HEATER WHEN ANY PART OF THE HEATER
(INCLUDING ELECTRIC WIRING AND PLUG(S)) IS NOT COMPLETELY
DRY OR IN THE IMMEDIATE VICINITY OF A BATH, SHOWER OR
SWIMMING POOL.
DO NOT OPERATE HEATER AFTER IT MALFUNCTIONS OR HAS BEEN
MISUSED, DROPPED OR DAMAGED.
TURN OFF YOUR HEATER BEFORE GOING TO BED.
AVOID GAZING AT OR INTO THE HEATER WHEN IT IS IN OPERATION.
ASSEMBLY
Warning: Please assemble the heater according to the following procedures, and
make sure the electric wiring is connected properly and segments of the center
pole are properly secured
(1) Remove all parts out of the carton and plastic covers and place these parts on the floor, carpet
or carton paper for assembly. THIS HEATER IS HEAVY Check the heater for any potential
damage due to shipping.
(2) Remove the fifteen (15) screws from the plastic package provided for assembly.
(3) Insert the heating element wiring and connecting plug leading from the heating elements
through that segment (with the warning label) of the center pole (standing tube) as shown in
Drawing 1.
(4) Align the screw holes on this segment of the center pole with those on the heating element
assembly and connect this segment of the center pole to the heating element assembly and
secure the same with three (3) of the screws provided as shown in Drawing 1 and, after all
three (3) screws are in place, tighten the screws to secure the segment(s) properly

(5) Insert the base wiring through the segment of the center pole (standing tube) as shown in
Drawing2.
(6) Align the screw holes on this segment of the center pole with those on the base assembly
and connect this segment of the center pole to the base assembly and secure the same with
six (6) of the screws provided as shown in Drawing 2.and, after all six (6) screws are in
place, tighten the screws to secure the segment(s) properly.

(7) Connect the remaining segment (for Free-Standing Models only) of the center pole (standing
tube), align the screw holes on the segments of the center pole and secure the same with the
remaining screws provided as shown in Drawing 3 and, after all three (3) screws are in place,
tighten the screws to secure the segment(s) properly

(8) Erect both the base assembly and the heating element assembly vertically, connect the heating
element wiring to the base wiring with the electric plugs at the ends of such wirings, tidy the
electric wirings and place them inside the center pole as shown in Drawing 4.
(9) Align the screw holes on these two (2) segments of the center pole and connect these segments
of the center pole to each other and secure the same with three (3) of the screws provided as
shown in Drawing 4 and, after all three (3) screws are in place, tighten the screws to secure the
segment(s) properly.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
ALWAYS UNPLUG HEATER AND BE SURE HEATER IS COOLED TO ROOM
TEMPERATURE BEFORE CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE.
To maintain the appearance of your heater, never use abrasive cleaning agents (such as cleansing
powers, scouring pads, steel wool pads or detergents with granules, etc). Spray water onto a cloth or
sponge and then clean. Avoid operating heater at any time when any part of the heater is not
completely dry to reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock, personal injury or damage to property
To obtain maximum performance from heater, it is recommended that the following be done at least
once a year: With an appropriately regulated and suitable stream of air from an air-hose, blow off any
dust and dirt from heater that has accumulated on the heating elements and reflective surfaces.
Store the heater in a dry and dust free place under suitable cover and be sure the reflective surface
and the heating elements of heater are protected from any possible damage.
