On August 3, Juconi participated in the se-cond Golf Tournament to benefit of JUCONI, an initiative that was born of the continued support of the group and PKF Transoceanic.

In addition to their passion for golf, the tournament designers wanted to join the initia-tive of the group.

This is the third year of

working with the Transo-ceanic group who, in ad-dition to this event and other solidarity actions, are part of the Social Responsibility program for JUCONI. Both the company and its part-ners are joining forces to give 60 children, adoles-cents and their families therapeutic service, scho-ol support and nutritio-nal program that the organization provides.

Commemorating the Internationl Day of the Child, the boys and girls participating in the program for wor-king children, accom-panied by their coun-selors visited the Histo-rical Park of Guaya-quil, which in addition to being an option for eco-tourism and ar-chaeology, becomes a

have the support of the Universal and Fybeca, who gave their children Vitamins and Zambo chocolates to celebrate them in their day.

On July 9th and 10th, boys, girls, teachers, JUCONI volunte-ers and staff of Terpel worked together in the recycling cam-paign sponsored by Terpel for the benefit of close to 500 chil-dren from the 25 de Julio Scho-ol. They started this campaign being consistent with the envi-ronment and your school, as a pilot program for professionals who are part of the voluntee-ring of Terpel.

The director and teachers re-cognize the positive change that the program has had over the years and this campaign comes at the best time, so that the children acquire ecological practices that can replicate in their daily lives.

In this Project the children le-arned to reuse plastic bottles by turning them into flower pots, in addition to having good environmental practices, use their creativity and good taste by creating art that greatly enhance the school environment.

"I am very proud of the pro-gress the school has obtained, already that when it first began it was a pig pen and the growth of the school has been helped by the community and the institu-tions that have supported us such as and JUCONI Terpel," Roxana Dominguez, DIrector from 25 de Julio School.

Thanks to our allies, we got the changes that we hope for our community.

The camps for children and adolescents are the most awaited activity of the summer. All have the opportunity to get out of the city and enjoy the countryside with recrea-tional activities, swim in the river, and share with their peers in educatio-nal workshops that fall under this great activity.

The central theme of the camp of adolescents was the awareness of the risks of drug use. In addition were activities of physical dexterity, artistic, and recreational activities ensuring a time of healthy entertainment for young people.

The games give the children a chance to grow physically, inte-llectually and emotiona-lly, allows them to learn in an environment where fantasy and reality are intewoven, and relieve tension.

Games are just as im-portant in the life of the child as food, clothing, protection and love. It is more than understood that recreation is impor-tant for the human being because it facili-tates the relationship with others, it develops creativity and integra-tes the person to com-munity life.

It is the responsibility of adults in the early years of the child's

life, because they can promote or prevent this process.

The camp is a great way to live rich expe-riences for the develop-ment of children, adoles-cents, and even of their counselors.

If we want to adhere to the definition, recrea-tion is the realization of activities of various ty-pes that, implemented in the free time, and take as a framework for ac-tion an installation, a sports field or simply resources that utilize na-ture to provide the indi-vidual with the satisfac-tion of a need for move-ment.
