orlando, Fl — For many years, the PRI Trade Show has been attracting racing industry buyers and exhibitors from all 50 states. However, the international aspect of the Show has grown every year, and in 2007, it reached the remarkable milestone of 50 countries represented in the Show’s attendance. “It has become a very common experience to overhear a foreign language or accent as you walk the exhibit aisles of the PRI Trade Show,” said Francisque Savinien, international marketing manager. “More and more companies are coming from outside the US to Orlando to conduct busi-ness. It has truly grown to become a major international event.” “US companies welcome the

opportunity to expand overseas, and companies from outside the US find the enormous market here very attractive,” said Eric Jurado, business development manager for Latin America. Savinien; Jurado; Shigeki Tajima, Business Development Manager; and Arianna Maugeri, European business development manager, have traveled to the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Australia and Japan to spread the word around the world that the PRI Trade Show is the best single place to conduct business in racing. One of the largest groups of international exhibitors arrives each year from the UK, through the work of the British racing trade organization, the Motorsport Industry Association. In the MIA’s Motorsport Valley Zone, buyers will find technology suppliers to F1 teams and more. The International Lounge was created years ago to accommodate the growing international presence at the PRI Trade Show, and has proven very popular in providing international racing business people with transla-tion services, internet access, meeting rooms and refreshments.

orlando, Fl — It is impossible to describe the impact of the Stars of Karting race at the 2007 PRI Trade Show, in the karting segment of the racing industry and the racing industry at large. “In kart racing, the word is going out throughout the world that something big is happening each year at the PRI Trade Show,” said Reed Morales, exhibit sales manager. “Thousands of racing entrepreneurs packed the grandstands for a thrilling display of the racing skills these karts demand at the highest levels of the sport. Plus, the level of karting exhibits at the PRI Trade Show was amazing! If you were to chart the number of new karting exhibits the past two years, you’d find the arrow points to the roof.” Marco Andretti, Christian Fittipaldi, Jamie McMurray, AJ Almendinger, Ron Capps, Eddie Lawson, Phil Giebler, Steve Johnson and Bryan Herta were just some of the big names in the professional race, as drivers came from the IRL, Champ Car, NASCAR Cup, Grand-Am, ALMS, NHRA and other series. Grand-Am Driver Michael Valiante, on

the Italian Motors team, won the Masters division race, followed by ICC National Champ Gary Carlton, SSC East team, coming in second place and the winner of last year’s kart race, Indy 500 Champion Buddy Rice, Tony Kart USA team, taking third place. Roughly 3,000 PRI Trade Show attendees gathered outside the Orange County Convention Center, filling the grandstands around a purpose-built kart track, on the evening of December 6 for two action-packed races. Carlton took the Karters division race. “Inside the Convention Center, the number of kart racing exhibits at the PRI Trade Show has growing significantly in recent years. The PRI Trade is becoming THE PLACE to source kart chassis, engines and other karting equip-ment,” said Steve Lewis, show producer. “The All-Stars Karting Classic on Thursday night helps put the media spotlight on this great form of motorsports.” The Snap-On Stars of Karting Presented by the IRL will produce another big kart race at the 2008 PRI Trade Show, on Thursday, December 11.

orlando, Fl — For many PRI business visitors, it was the greatest innovation in mass transit ever. Courtesy of Budweiser, members of the racing industry were offered a complementary beer as they boarded a Show shuttle bus to return to their hotels, or travel to the race on Friday night. One of the greatest racing industry parties of the year—the PRI Trade Show Happy Hour on Thursday nights—also was a highlight of the week. A l so sponso red by Budwe i se r, complementary beer was offered, and the famous Bud girls were on hand to add to the festivities by helping to distribute 20,000 cans of Bud in just one-and-one-half hours. “Budweiser is one of the most famous brand names in racing, so we are very excited to have them play such an important role in two of the most popular activities at the PRI Trade Show,” said Susana Furlong, exhibit sales manager. “As everybody knows, Budweiser is THE BEER of the racing world.”

laGuna bEaCh, Ca — It’s one of the biggest social events in the racing industry calendar, and sponsorship positions are still available for the 2008 race. The 3rd Annual MOPAR PRI Sprint & Midget Classic Presented by DHL packed 8,000 people into the grand-stands of Orlando Speedworld last year, most of whom were members of the racing industry transported by complimentary shuttle buses from the

Convention Center to the race track. More than 130 race teams were on hand to display their race skills before the racing industry crowd on the Friday night of the PRI Trade Show. “Magic in Orlando” is how National Speed Sport News described last year’s race in its headline. In 2008, your company will be able to greatly expand your message in the online exhibitor listings on the PRI Trade Show website’s interactive floor plan by uploading logos, thorough company descriptions, company product names, new product releases with photos, and even video podcast.

Keep an eye out in your mail for the coming 2008 PRI Trade Show Exhibitor Kit. In addition to all the great information and necessary forms, it’s bringing more good news: no change in the booth rates for 2008!

As a result of the Stars of Karting All-Stars Classic at the PRI Trade Show, the word is spreading through the kart racing world that the PRI Trade Show is a key event on the schedule of anybody involved in the business of karting.

Grand-Am Driver Michael Valiante won the Masters division race, followed by ICC National Champ Gary Carlton and Indy 500 Champion Buddy Rice, taking third place.

Celebrating its 20th year in 2007, the PRI Trade Show continued to reflect the growth of the dynamic racing industry with more exhibitors and more booths than ever before.

More than just a trade show, events such as the Grand Opening Breakfast, featuring NASCAR star Carl Edwards, provide attending buyers and exhibitors the chance to socialize and have fun with their industry friends.

Exhibits of kart racing products are one of the fastest growing seg-ments at the PRI Trade Show, as most major chassis manufacturers had displays of their latest product lines.

Roughly 3,000 members of the racing industry packed the grand-stands for the All-Stars Classic.

Company team, we are switching to a three-day exhibitor move-in, rather than the usual four days, to accommodate this date change,” said Steve Lewis, show producer. “This will also require a strong ‘team effort’ on the part of the PRI Trade Show exhibitors, but we know everybody will do whatever it takes to accomplish the goal of keeping our traditional Thursday, Friday, Saturday dates.”

“We’re taking the ‘racer approach!’ We’re doing whatever it takes as a team to put the 2008 PRI Trade Show on the dates that work best for everybody,” added Lewis.

Celebrating 20 extraordinary years,

the 2007 PRI Trade Show was the largest ever, with 1,445 companies exhibiting in 4,270 booths.

Lewis said the growth of the PRI Trade Show is very much reflective of the health of the racing industry in the US, and world-wide. Several trends have contributed to this extraordinary phenomenon, from the birth of cable television to remarkable advances in racer safety. “The result is a dynamic marketplace based upon a consumer who will do whatever it takes to win,” said Lewis.

The option renewal form for the 2008 PRI Trade Show does not serve as a

contract, noted Davidson. The contract will be mailed with the Exhibitor Sales Kit, to be mailed in late February. “The option renewal form indicates that the exhibitor would like to return,” she said. “We use that information for the initial layout of the Show floor plan for 2008.” Deposits of 50% of total booth fees are due March 21, 2008, in order to hold the exhibit space.

Companies interested in exhibiting in the world’s largest racing trade show should call PRI at 949/499-5413. For more information, visit the website at www.performanceracing.com.

Also sponsored by Budweiser, complimentary beer was offered at the PRI Trade Show Happy Hour, and the famous Bud girls were on hand to add to the festivities by helping to distribute 20,000 cans of Bud in just one-and-one-half hours.

The 3rd Annual MOPAR PRI Sprint & Midget Classic Presented by DHL was one of the best places to mix business with pleasure at the PRI Trade Show.

national brand names for business travel, we have a lot to offer.” “The PRI Trade Show travel and housing department has worked hard to negotiate the best rates to help you keep a lid on exhibit expenses,” added Tammy Kelsey, housing and travel coordinator. “My advice to exhibitors is to reserve your hotel accommoda-tions early, before housing is opened to attendees this summer.” Exhibitor housing opens April 7. orlando, Fl — For many years, the PRI Trade Show has been attracting racing industry buyers and exhibitors from all 50 states.

The tradit ional Thursday, Friday, Saturday dates for the Performance Racing Industry Trade Show have been confirmed for 2008. The dates for the 2008 PRI Trade Show will be Thursday, Friday, Saturday, December 11–13, 2008.

The opportunity to conduct business face to face and provide hands-on sales demonstrations of new racing products is the engine that drives the PRI Trade Show.

From upscale resort-style hotels to national brand names for business travel, Orlando has a wide range of hotel accommodations in the Convention Center area to success-fully fulfill the housing requests of PRI Trade Show exhibitors.

Every parking space was taken outside the 1,000,000-square-foot Convention Center during the PRI Trade Show. You can also see the purpose-built kart track ready for the action-packed, celebrity studded Stars of Karting race on Thursday night.
