INFANTSJellyfish Bottle Activity (naturalistic)

Gatorade Bottle Grocery Bag Air bubble (for the head) Water Food Coloring Scissors

Directions:1) Fill the bottle with water and

color it with the dye2) Cut the grocery bag into a

rectangle3) Create a head and blow a little

air (tie it tight)4) Cut the rest of the bag to create

little tentacles5) Put the jellyfish into the bottle,

flip bottom upside down and right side up (repeat)

linguistic) Paint Paper Marker

Directions:1) Paint the child’s hand, put on

paper to make a hand print2) Paint child’s foot, put on paper

to make a SEPARATE footprint3) Write above “I love you from

my fingers to my toes!”4) Let dry and let them take it

home

Directions1. Give them each 5-10 gold fish 2. Have them count aloud how many

goldfish they have, and the colors3. Let them enjoy their gold fish

Singing in the Rain (body-kinesthetic and musical)

Silly Songs- “Repeat After Me” ActivityDirections

1. Tell them to repeat these words“I’m singing in the rain just singing in the rain what a glorious feeling…Ah… chity bop chity bop chity bop WOO chity bop chity bop chity bop WOO (then movement instructions one at a time)”

2. 1st- thumbs up 2nd- elbows back 3rd- knees together 4th- toes together 5th- butt out 6th- head back 7th- in a circle

SCHOOL AGE The Story Game (Intrapersonal/Interpersonal)

Teacher’s Directions1) Have the children make a straight line2) Explain the instructions3) Teacher write the story down and read it to them

Rules:Take turns! And go down the line having everyone

add one word to the story.Example:
