Said to come from the Studio of Julio Kilenyi who worked at the time at the Whitehead‑ Hoag Company who struck the 1932 Los Angeles Winners and Participation Medals. Each medal silver, 55mm, by G. Cassioli. Victory seated above stadium. Rev. Winner being carried by teammates. The weight of the medals ranges from 64.8 grams to 71 grams. All have blank edges. We have noticed over the years that the weight of the Los Angeles winner’s medals differs substantially. One medal with dark toning, another stained, condition ranging from VF+ to EF. (10 pcs.)
