yogaview s level 2 teacher training is a swan dive into the modern world of yoga with all of its contradictions and potential. Never before have so many people been exposed to the practice, however, with yoga’s rise in popularity, some people feel like the authentic practice is being diluted, compromised or lost. Much of what is being taught in modern yoga is being questioned, and controversy in the field is becoming more common. At the same time, the physical and emotional healing that yoga offers has never been more widely rec- ommended by doctors, chiropractors and therapists. Classes are offered in studios, health clubs, workplaces and even online. It’s challenging to be a yoga teacher in this new environment. Continuing your education has never been more important. The yogaview level 2 teacher training gathers together teachers who are on the cutting edge of the practice. It will include more voices and perspectives than our level 1 course to provide a broad spectrum of material and ideas to those already deeply involved in the practice. Our intention is to offer an unparalleled opportunity to study with seasoned experts to increase your skills and heart for working confidently as a yoga teacher. It is our belief that the new world of yoga is seeded with potential. We will work together to uncover and better understand the innovative tradition of yoga and what it can mean for our time. IPMENTORSHIP PROGRAM We are offering a 6 month mentorship program which taken in con-junction with our Level 2 course will satisfy the 300 hour requirement for Yoga Alliance registration. This program is also offered independently.

The Mentorship Program will run for six months beginning in the first quarter of 2017, depending on who your mentor is. It includes taking one class a week with your mentor, and assisting or observing one of their classes a week. Bi-monthly small group meetings with your mentor will give you a chance to discuss your own experiences and difficulties as a teacher and explore the deeper dimensions of teaching yoga in our modern world. Topics include working with social media, building classes, cultivating authenticity in your teaching, and advanced sequencing, timing, and adjustments. This is an exceptional opportunity to work more deeply with a senior teacher.
