Our rating & descriptionUnique luxury villa among nature, art and history, a few kilometers from

Florence. Built in the second half of the sixteenth century by the Bettini

family, it was later acquired by the Florentine family, who began to en-

large and restructure the house, and to reorganize the park with new

avenues and an Italian style garden. By the 18th and 19th centuries it

was considered one of the most beautiful Tuscan villas.

Twenty two masks carved from local pietra serena stone, some clas-

sical and some grotesque, decorate the facade of the Villa, one of the

most beautiful late Renaissance country homes in Tuscany.

AccomodationsNature and art, water and silence, are the magical backdrop to the 65

bedrooms and suites and the 8 events rooms. These rooms sit in the

midst of a romantic park of 18 hectares dotted with sequoia and rare

trees, alongside an Italian-style garden and two pools. Inside the park,

just a few steps from the villa, is the former ‘gardener’s house’, facing

onto the small Italian garden.

The timeless elegance of the Chini style characterizes the Pavilion’s 13

bedrooms and suites, where the Liberty style is given a contemporary

twist.

WeddingsThis Renaissance country home offers the unique possibility to hold cel-

ebrations, receptions, and accommodation all under one roof Whether

the banquet is organized on the terrace facing the romantic park, or

held in the sumptuous rooms of the villa, you and your guests will never

forget the magical atmosphere of it.

The villa has its largest and the most stenographic room that can host

up to 100 guests with a Gala Dinner round tables standard set-up. Wed-

ding can also be organized in the beautiful gardens which surround the

Villa using magnificent set up and tents upon requests( at additional

cost) within the summer months according to the weather conditions.

Their proposal for wedding reception includes the hall rental or a part

of the garden in exclusive use with gala set up, drinks selected, menu

printing and place card.

FacilitiesThe Romantic park of 18 hectares runs down to the Bilancino Lake, and

contains many rare and notable trees and plants including Cedars of

Lebanon and Sequoias dating back to the nineteenth century, Mulberry

and Linden, and a small pinewood.
