We designed the SF2204 HVW to be the

most versatile and productive paver on the

market. Smarter, more efficient, more

valuable – it keeps your costs low, no

matter how your paving width changes. The

SF2204 HVW provides the cost-effective

flexibility you need.

HYDRAUL ICALLY ADJUSTABLEDUAL PAV ING K ITS

The SF2204 HVW paver features dual

paving kits mounted in tandem and

modular guillotine side forms fixed to a

hydraulic telescoping mainframe. The

paver frame expands or contracts at the

flick of a switch. Telescoping at 6 to

12 in/mi. (152 to 304 mm/min), the paver

expands from a minimum paving width of

8 ft. 3 in (2.5 m) to a maximum of 20 ft

(6.10 m) in less than 15 minutes. This

makes the SF2204 HVW ideal for paving

on/off ramps, intersections, parking lots,

residential streets, highway lane

additions and airport sections. Because

the width is infinitely variable, it

accommodates metric and English

dimensioned paving equally well. Each

dual paving kit is constructed as a water

storage vessel that adds 2,550 lb

(1157 kg) of weight directly over the

concrete. Easily attachable curb inserts

on the left or right side of the

SF2204 HVW allow you to pave integral

curb sections.

QUICK MOUNT V IBRATORS

Using a unique mounting system, vibrators

can be added or removed in just 10

minutes, minimizing delay during width

adjustment. With the capacity to

accommodate as many as fifteen

individually controlled hydraulic vibrators,

the SF2204 HVW delivers uniform density

and optimum pavement strengths.

PREC ISE CONTROLS ANDSTABIL ITY FOR SMOOTHPAV ING PERFORMANCE

The SF2204 HVW maintains precise control

of elevation and steering through the ultra-

accurate Hydra-mation® control system.

This unique automated hydraulic system

can be configured to operate using:

• 4-point, dual stringline configuration

• Single stringline with cross-slope control

• Lock-to-grade from a prepared surface.

Swing-away sensor mounting arms

and preset operator reference points

aid fast set up for paving and speedy

reconfiguration for transport. With its

hefty 55,000 lb. (24,750 kg) operating

weight, the SF2204 HVW gives you better

control of the concrete for superior

finishing. As a result, you can consistently

achieve good profile index numbers.

T IME SAV ING FEATURES

The SF2204 HVW is rich in features specially

designed for today’s concrete paving

contractor.

Hydraulic swing legs enable optimum

trackline location, even in the tightest

quarters. Each track also has hydraulic

power steering. Together, these two features

give the SF2204 HVW its "crab-steering"

mode for superior maneuverability.

Form oil or cleaning fluid stores onboard in a

pressure vessel. When you’re finished

paving, an onboard high pressure wash-

down system makes clean up fast.

The hydraulic spreader plow operates in

automatic or manual mode. An oscillating

float finisher can be used in either automatic

or manual mode to control oscillating speed,

transverse travel speed, trowel blade pitch

angle and reversing functions. Both the

spreader plow and float finisher are mounted

on a separate telescoping subframe,

eliminating the need for any additional bolt-

in elements during paving width change.

The telescoping main frame

hydraulically expands and contracts

to adjust paving widths.

The variable width molds attach to

both the mainframe and the subframe.

As the mainframe expands and

contracts, the molds adjust for various

paving widths.

The SF2204 HVW is further adaptable when you equip it

with any one of our attachments. These attachments are

easily mounted on to the paver frame or the hydraulic

telescoping subframe in minutes. As a result, the SF2204

HVW can do the work of multiple pieces of equipment,

expanding your paver capabil it ies and uti l ization without

expanding your fleet. This unique versati l ity enables the

SF2204 HVW to pay for itself in a fraction of the time

required for other slipform pavers.

CURBING MOLD SYSTEM: Consists of an adjustable

modular form system with hydraulic guil lotine side-forms

and a locking mold insert f ixture. This enables you to

quickly change mold profi les in 30 minutes or less. Adjusts

from 4 to 36 in (101.6 to 914.4 mm) curb width. The side-

mount unit retracts quickly and easily for transport.

EXPANDABLE PAVING MOLD SYSTEM:

Is hydraulically adjustable and perfect for f lat specialty

paving such as shoulders, cart paths, alleyways, foundation

pads and irrigation valleys. With a variety of inserts the

system adjust from 4 to 10 ft (1.2 to 3.0 m) or

5 to 12 ft (1.5 to 3.7 m) in 6 in (152 mm) increments.

Available as offset or center mount and includes integral

curb provisions.

MEDIAN BARRIER AND PARAPET WALL MOLD:

These slipform molds feature a hopper multiple position

vibrator mounting points, spring-loaded side forms, and

hydraulically-actuated extendable l ift to clear finished walls

to 42 in (106.7 cm) high. Either mold attaches quickly to a

single off-set support system.

CONCRETE DELIVERY CONVEYOR:

Provides continuous concrete delivery from truck chutes or

other transfer equipment to the curbing system, barrier

forming system or other hopper-fed mold systems.

TIE-BAR INSERTION SYSTEM:

Saves valuable time and money by hydraulically placing side

or centerline tie-bars during paving.

ELECTRONIC VIBRATION MONITOR: Sensors register

vibration output and transmit the data to the operator’s

monitor where it is digitally recorded for future review.
