veldskool vir laerskoolleerders vind plaas by Suid-
Kaap Jagters se opleidingsfasiliteite naby
Kleinbrakrivier.
Verantwoordelike mentors met ‘n magdom kennis
van die natuur, word aangewend in die aanbieding
van noodsaaklike natuurverwante ak$witeite om jou
te help om o.a. maklik voor te berei om op die regte
manier te gaan kamp, jou rugsak vir die veld te pak,
om die flora en fauna van ons natuurerfenis beter te
leer ken en hoe om ‘n veilige kampvuur te maak.
Ander ak$witeite wat ook prakies aangebied word,
is: die korrekte manier en plek om jou tent op te
slaan, spoorsny vir oorlewing, oogskerping,
nagbeweging, veldhigiëne, kamoeflering, kos kook
op ‘n oop vuur, broodbak in die veld, basiese
eerstehulp, bestuiwing en vele meer. Spanwerk,
kommunikasievaardighede en leierskapsontwikkeling
is enkele ak$witeite wat deurlopend aandag geniet.
Aardverhi)ng, waterbesoedeling en natuurbewaring
is op almal se lippe, maar weinig word gedoen om
hierdie uiters noodsaaklike knelpunte aan te spreek.
Die doel van die naweekkamp is juis om by jou ‘n be-
langstelling en liefde vir die natuur te kweek en hoe
om dit op ‘n verantwoordelike manier volhoubaar te
benut en te geniet, asook om jou te leer om tydens
noodsituasies in die veld te kan oorleef. Kom leer
speel-speel hoe jy kan bydra tot die redding van ons
wonderlike planeet.
Indien jy 10 jaar en ouer en in die laerskool is (en nog
nie van tevore ‘n veldskool bygewoon het nie), moet
jy seker maak dat jy hierdie unieke geleentheid nie
misloop nie. Slegs die eerste 25 leerders wie se ouers
my skakel, word aanvaar.

BEHEERLIGGAAM: TUSSENVERKIESING
Kennis geskied hiermee dat ‘n verkiesing van EEN OUER as lid van die Beheerliggaam op 5 Maart 2020 by Laerskool Outeniqua gehou sal word. Ons poog om met die proses van ‘n heeldag stemming, ‘n kworum te verkry. Ouers word dus versoek om vanaf 07:30 tot 15:00 by die skool te kom stem.
‘n Kandidaat kan genomineer word deur ‘n nominasievorm, behoorlik voltooi deur die voorsteller, sekondant en kandidaat, nie meer nie as tien dae, en nie minder nie as 24 uur, voor die aanvang van bogenoemde verkiesing, by die kiesbeampte in te dien. Nominasies sal vir hierdie doel vanaf 24 FEBRUARIE 2020, tot 07:30 op 4 MAART 2020 by die skool aanvaar word. (Nominasievorms is by die Skoolhoof verkrygbaar.)
Indien ‘n kworum nie teenwoordig is by bogenoemde vergadering nie, sal ‘n volgende vergadering, waar ‘n kworum nie benodig word nie, gehou word op 17 MAART 2020.
GOVERNING BODY: BI-ELECTION
Notice is hereby given of the election of ONE PARENT as member of the Governing Body for Outeniqua Primary School, on 5 MARCH 2020 at Outeniqua Primary School. We will use the process of an all day vote to endeavor to attain a quorum. Parents are therefore requested to please come and cast their votes between 07:30 and 15:30.
A candidate may be nominated by lodging with the electoral officer, not more than seven days and not less than 24 hours prior to the commencement of the above election, a nomination form duly completed by die proposer, seconder and candidate. For this purpose nominations will be accepted at school from 24 FEBRUARY 2020 until 07:30 on 4 MARCH 2020 . (Nomination forms are obtainable from the princi-pal.)
If a quorum is not present, the next election, where no quorum is required, will be held on 17 MARCH 2020.
