WELCOME MESSAGE

Co-morbidities are common findings in hospitalized or ambulatory patients. Most of the systemic diseases eventually will cause multiple organs dysfunction, more ever in advanced stage of the disease. These coexistences may be of milder manifestation of diseases but it may be in the form of severe conditions or complications which demand serious consideration from the physician.

Various factors may have roles in the development and progress of diseases included genetic susceptibility, environtmental factors, aging process and systemic inflammation process. The current understanding of molecular and cellular pathogenesis discloses the process that ensues which may involve various organs, and it opens path to the possible comprehensive and early prevention and effort in the management of these diseases.

Diagnosis making will be difficult and sophisticated laboratory examination and invasive method of examination may be needed. It demands sufficient knowledge of the doctor to select appropriate and efficient examinations.

Comorbidities in patients may bring a tricky therapeutical problem for doctors, for including in the management of multiple organs systems involvement is the possibility of administering certain drugs for each organ dysfunctions. Doctors must consider carefully in selecting drugs and its dosage to avoid giving combination of drugs which may cause synergistic or antagonistic effects in the patients.

In this scientific meeting experts will present various diagnosis and management of allergic, immunologic and systemic diseases in different situation related to the aspects mentioned above, which we hope will stimulate our efforts in improving health services to the patients.

6. Peserta poster session yang disetujui panitia, harus sudah memasang posternya paling lambat 1 jam sebelum saat visitasi.
