ii Cabinet Installation
Picture A.
Procedures of installation
A. Please open 4 pcs holes on the wall, reference picture A, recommended hole size
Φ10mm
B. Tighten the screws of rear cover (of cabinet)
C. Fix the cabinet on the wall by setscrew
D. Pull out plug of drain pipe of cabinet.
Make sure the installation horizontally and choose the firm facade plate
where is away from light.
iii Flow cell parts
A. There should be drainage pipe to
lead water from main pipeline. Ball
valve is needed to connect the
drainage pipe with main pipeline.
B. Drainage pipe should use 1/4 〞
plastic pipe, inlet flow should be less
than 300mL/min.
C. Connect drainage pipe with cabinet. Firstly, take drain plug from drainage pipe
outlet , insert drainage pipe with hose clamp into Outlet of cabinet. , then screwon.

8/22
5
D. Drain pipe should be led to low level place, and
avoid any knot on pipe.
E. Inlet 1 is for inlet water measurement under normal status.
Note Inlet 2 is for inlet water measurement under testing status.
Inlet 1 is for inlet water measurement under normal status. The system will
measure water from Inlet 1 during normal operation. Press Enter for 10 seconds, system will switch water sample from Inlet 1 to Inlet 2. Meanwhile, system will
shut down all control output, only show measuring value. Inlet 2 is usually used
for testing pre-ACF water (activated carbon filter process)
Please make sure the working environment is in accordance with the
technique requirement.
Flow-chart of Flow Part
1) If there are so much impurities in water, PP filter is needed (as above
picture) .
2) Do not use the filter which can absorb Free chlorine; Seriously choose
filter capacity since too big filter may cause lag of measurement data.
3) Floater should be at scale(250~350) , if isn’t , please increase pressure
to promote flow speed.
4) Discharged water should be put into where lower than cabinet; Do not
connect drainage pipe into pipe with positive or negative pressure.
iv Check before power supply
1) There is no need to active sensor, because the sensor keep in wet all the
time.
2) Connect with power supply AC 220V/50Hz.

3) Adjust inlet water ball valve, so the floater can reach target standard.
4) This equipment can be used directly after ex-factory.( free chlorine
buffer solution pH ( 6.2~6.4)when ex-factory. Please calibrate the
sensor when testing free chlorine, please reference MEASURMENT CALIBRATION.
5) Please follow the below diagram to connect (4~20)mA transmitting

iv Measurement calibration
Free Chlorine /ClO2/pH/TEMP is electrochemical sensor, which its sensitivity is
persistent attenuated with time increased and measured media. It’s determined by
the natural law of the sensor. Calibrating the probe slope to make sure the accuracy
measurement and the calibration period is determined by media.

1. Please calibrate this sensor regularly due
to keep measurement accuracy.
2. Prepare water which without any
chlorine: Boiled tap water, then after
cool, please put free chlorine sensor in
the water.
3. Enter normal user interface, choose
SYSTEM CALIBRATION , then enter
the Calibration term, then calibrate the
sensor by following pictures.
Low concentration medium of free chlorine
calibration: select the suitable buffer solution
according to medium range to calibrate the
sensor; and choose “Free Chlorine pH
Compensation” and adjust pH value of buffer
solution.
If high ClO2 concentration is known, just
calibrate the sensor within the range which
already indicated in the item
After zero calibration of Free Chlorine and ClO2 probes, put the probes into Free Chlorine or
ClO2 solution of known concentration. Press
Enter key for Free Chlorine and ClO2 calibration
according to left diagram.

This interface means the calibration is failed. We
recommend to replace a new probe and
re-calibrate.
If the calibration is succeed, press ESC key and
return to main menu.
pH calibration interface Calibration process steps(suitable for
POP8803A)
1.Do pH slope calibration for the probe when the
probe is used for a long time or long time no use.
2. Select normal User and enter into SystemCalibration, press Enter key and enter into
calibration options. Operate pH slope calibration
according to left diagram.
3.There are on-line and off-line modes for pH
calibration.
4.On-line calibration, means putting the probe
into the prepared solution for
calibration(10.00/7.00/4.00 or select acid/neutral
or alkali/ neutral two points).
1. Select on-line mode and press Enter key to
enter into the current temperature setting
interface.
2. Press digit select key and add key to enter into
the current temperature of buffer solution. Then
press Enter key to save.
1. Please choose buffer solution from 10.00,7.00, 4.00 by order, or 9.18, 6.86, 4.01 by
order.
2. Confirm to continue if pH value is according
with buffer solution
3. Skip to continue if pH value is not
according with buffer solution
4. Press ENTER to confirm whether past or not
after setting.
5. If failed, please re-calibrate.

According to left diagram, put the cleaned probe
into the prepared buffer solution. Press enter to
save and enter into the next menu.
Check the displayed mA value stable or not.
When the value is stable, press Enter key and
start calibration.
1.This interface shows the calibration is succeedand the program switch to the next buffer
solution calibration interface automatically.
The calibration process is the same as above.
2. If calibration is failed, the interface shows to

3.If succeed, there will be a small face.
4.Enter next calibration item.
IV Maintenance
i Cabinet maintenance
a. The installed pipeline should be unblocked. Check connection part, filter,
constant flow device, inlet and outlet often to obverse the sedimentation
generated or not. Please clean if there is sedimentation.
b. Open blow down valve regularly to clean sedimentation.
c. Please clean the cabinet by Neutral Cleaner, acidic and corrosive strong
solution or abrasives are not allowed.
ii pH probe maintenance
a. pH probe will keep in wet environment, it can work directly after powered.
b. There is not need to calibrate after a long time powered off, sensor will keep
in wet environment.
c. If probe is slicked by suspended matter ,can use 0.01mol/L HCl or NaOH
solution to clean, then use clear water washing up.

14
d. If the instrument still can not be calibrated in above methods,it means the
probe is invalid, and should be replaced;
e. When calibrate the new sensor please keep buffer solution temperature.
f. Except free chlorine/chlorine dioxide, oxidation and other strong reducing
agents of sensor is sensitive to overlapping;
g. The sensor could not be used for measurement of electrolysis brine sodium
hypochlorite. Since the generated hydrogen ion would damage the platinum
layer and form inverse chlorines reverse current. This will harm the sensor and
reduce sensor working life.
iii. Replacement of probes
a. Please use the original sensor, because different manufacturer different sensor.
b. Please indicate the system which the sensor used in , manufacture will provided
the replacement.
c. Please do not lengthen or cut short the cable length!
