---------::J*;;---~*~--."If;O;;-------RON REID, THE track and field nut of The Times Sports

Staff, reports that last week's North Coast Section Finals at 'Leigh High School could have been properly subtitled, "How toRun a Track Meet." .

High school meets are all too often marked by umiecessary delays, poor planning, and inadequate help. But Saturday's NCS meet served as a model of efficiency andsupervision for all who attended.

Credit for the exceptional meet goes to Plato Yanic~~_...2fHillsdale High School and Junior Morgan of the host school,Leigh, who served as co-directors of the meet. They got greatassistance from the AAU officials and judges who helped makethe meet Northern Califor.nia's best prep event of the athleticseason.
