Father Brian Harrington, Pastor
The number of priests per Catholic has declined over the past 40 years. This makes it more difficult for individual parishioners to establish a close relationship with any one particular priest. Furthermore, priests are no longer the only ones who offer pastoral care to our people. Yet without a priest, no parish is able to be a Eucharistic community. It is important to reaffirm the importance of the priesthood of Jesus Christ
Please pray for our parish family members who are sick: Ella Mae LeBlanc, Mike Breaux, Leslie Douet, Susie M. Romero, Jordyn Turner, Allison Leonard, Shelton Dutil, Mazel Meyers, Ellen McDonald, Bailey, Landon, Logan & Jeremy Broussard, Trudy Hardy, Jamie, Olivia, Gracie, Brianna Menard, Haden Coleman, Daniel Alleman., Joseph Campbell, Audrey Fremin, Mack Sedatol, Lacey Horton, Cecil Chapman, Sheena Romero, Derick Landry, Winnie Belle Menard, Lou Lopez, Bill & Julie Pippen, Jackie Courville, Debbie Melancon, David Fontenot, Diane Toups, Francis Crochet, Walter LeBlanc, Betty Braus, Mona Pomier, Anna Lee Mendoza, Jamie Bergeron, Lee Dautreuil, Kurt Menard, Loveless LeBlanc, Warren LeBlanc, Charlotte Romero, Tina Viator, Carolyn Brown, Amanda Durke, Bill David, Randy & Connie Elias, Mabel Landry, Margaret LeBlanc, Kael Bryant Landry, Eunice Derouen, Wendy Bouzigard, Euline Guilbeau, Kyle Bussas, Shell Lopez, Joseph Fitch, Leah Peltier, Bill DeSoto, Don Pomier, Mary Daigle, Grant Colomb, Debbie Hyde, Robert Romero, Bailey Dore, Margaret Weekly, Angela Broussard, Kylee Peltier, Willey Poirrier, Patti Gonzales, Camryn Robichaux, Griffin Romero, Noah Randazzo, Casey Derouen & Family, Elise & Henry Smith, Griffin Monte, Melvin Hamilton, Kade Breaux, L’Oreal Migues, Althonese Landry, Monica Bouillion, Victoria Verret, Johnny Romero, Mary Rentrop, Roberta Sexton, Myrtle Mire, Viola Boutte, Mary Ann Romero, Leroy Romero, Elly Romero, Tyler Richard, Alayna Allen, Tina Bodin, Clara Romero, Anthony DeRanger, Jimmy Romero, Billy Thibodeaux, Lorena Williams, Jimmy Derise, Chasity Romero, Gladys Dilbeck, Judy Schexnayder, Mark Krump, Chanda Romero, Dave Steele, Mike & Tammy Billard, Nicki Buteau, Jackie Gary, Doris Richard, Charles Richard, Kimberly Moreaux, Gaynell LeBlanc, Eyan Derouen, Howard J. Our Faith … Our Family …
Our Future Legacy … This past weekend was our 2nd Collection for our Debt Reduction. Thanks to those who donated to our collection which will repeat monthly on the 3rd Sunday of each month. After completion of our church renovations we incurred this debt from our new parking lot project, purchasing the Williams house for our office and purchasing the property adjacent to our cemetery. Our total collected this past month was $2229.25 We also received our semi-annual rebate of $14,587.00 as reflected. Thanks for all those who have been faithful to their commitment in the Centennial Campaign.

The Crisis of Happiness: Hurting, Addicting, & Healing When you hear the word “addiction”,
what typically comes to mind? Needles? Alcohol? Pills? As Jim
Owens, MA, LPC explains, addiction is much simpler, including everything from substances to
technology, screen time, work, shopping, and even sugar. Addictions and distractions are used to manage pain—but
in the process, end up damaging our brains, our relationships, and our ability to find lasting happiness. Jim
gives scientific evidence and practical advice for overcoming wounds, to help hurt people become healed people. At the conclusion of this talk, you will also be able to hear a bonus sample of the CD: Know Your Story: The Love God in the
Narrative of Your Life by Sr. Miriam James Heidland, SOLT.
