Neuro Acknowledge the fact thatbehavior stems from our neurologicalprocesses of sight, hearing, smell,
taste, touch, and feeling. Weexperience the world through our five
senses. We make sense of the
information and then we act on it.

NLP IN BRIEF
NLP represents an attitude
of mind and a way of being
in the world

THE PURPOSE OF NLP
To be useful, to increase the
choices you have and to enhance
the quality of your life, by acting and
experimenting , not by thinking
about it.
It is what you need to achieve your
dreams and be successful

NLP presuppositions are not
simply theoretical axioms. Theyare intended to be principles to
live by.
The field of NLP is based on a set
of fundamental presuppositionsabout ourselves, our behaviors,
and our world.

PRESUPPOSITIONS
NLP is a model rather then a theory and it is the study of
subjective experience.
NLP emphasises finding solutions rather than analysing causes.
Mind and body are part of the one system.
External behaviour is the result of how a person uses theirrepresentational systems.
If one human can do something then, potentially, anyone can.
Conscious mind capacity is very limited supposedly to around 5-9
percent of information.

SUBMODALITIES
Are the fine details of sensoryrepresentational systems or
modalities.
Utilises the Visual,Kinesthetic and Auditory
channels .
Remember that the majority
of communication is handled
on the unconscious level

Together they intensively Studied and then Modeled
Three TOP Therapists:
FRITZ PERLS (Psychotherapist)
VIRGINIA SATIR (Family Therapist)MILTON ERICKSON (Hypno-therapist)
The methods of observation and imitation Bandler
and Grinder used to learn and codify the initial
models of NLP came to be known as Modeling.

RAPPORT
When you feel intimatelyconnected with someone
on a deeply emotional
level.
It is essential to establish
atmosphere of trust,
confidence and
participation, within whichpeople can respond freely.

People in rapport tend to mirror and match in:
Postures,
Gestures
Eye contact.
Blinking
Facial expression
Breathing
Tonality
The deeper the rapport, the closer the match.
Is established within 3-5 minutes of initial contact.

ANCHORING The process of associating an
internal response with someexternal trigger so that the
response may be quickly,
reaccessed by activating the
trigger.
Binds a state to a specific stimulus
Useful altering negative orunresponsive states
