FIDIC Trainer Accreditation Assessment Dear Members, FIDIC is planning to run a FIDIC trainer accreditation assessment in Dubai from 24-26 November 2015. This event is an exam aimed at the accreditation of future FIDIC Trainers. It is a 3 day event, consisting of oral presentations, written tests and overnight homework. Through its Trainers Assessment Panel, FIDIC organises a list of accredited trainers and encourages FIDIC Member Associations to nominate candidates for assessment. If you are interested in nominating candidates for assessment, please see the procedure and the criteria on the FIDIC website: http://fidic.org/events/accredited-trainers. Some of the requirements for a candidate are that he or she:

Is well spoken;

Has extensive knowledge of FIDIC procedures and best practices;

Is fluent in English, and able to train in this language;

Accreditation Assessment

Is competent and committed;

Has no conflict of interest;

Is a FIDIC Affiliate Member or commits to become one. Please see the above linked page for the complete list of criteria. The assessment event is on invitation only, addressed to experts nominated by their national association. The online registrations to the pre-assessment are now open at: http://fidic.org/events/fidic-trainers-accreditation-pre-assessment-nov2015 with the deadline of 31 July 2015.
