A MESSAGE FROM FATHER RICH
Congratulations to Marty and Mary Mennemeyer who are celebrating their 60th Wedding Anniversary this weekend. In Saturday’s mail I received from the Office of Child and Youth Protection, a letter stating that the parish is in full compliance for Safe Environment Program for Children. I wish to thank Amy Bahr and our former secretary Karla Perez for all their effort in this regards. A final reminder
that this Monday, the parish is offering the Protecting God’s Children Class for all those who work around chil-
dren in the parish. We only offer this class annually. So, if you are not able to make this class, you may need to travel some distance to attend another class. Please continue to
pray for the safety of all children.
God Bless,
~ Father Rich

made us feel so loved. We truly are blessed to have all of you

very humbling. We are so grateful to each and everyone of you

DEACON NEAL’S REFLECTION CORNER
In the second reading today, from the book of James, St. James tells us to show no partiality as you adhere to the faith in our
Lord Jesus Christ. Then he gives the example of someone in fine clothes and another in shabby clothes. He says that if we want
to give the finely dressed person the place of honor and the shabby dressed one to go off to the side or to the back, we are showing judgement. This is something we should avoid doing. As Christ humbled himself to become one of us, we should
always be ready to humble ourselves and show honor to all the people who come in contact with us. Christ honored us with his
presence and showed no partiality. Can we not do the same?
God Bless,
~Deacon Neal

might be inquiring and seeking .
The RCIA is for:
Unbaptized... persons who have attained the age of reason
(7 years and older) follow a process to help them grow in aware-
ness to God's call to conversion as well as ways to respond to that
call. They are considered catechumens.
Baptized in Another Christian Church... those catechized and
uncatechized persons from a faith tradition other than Catholic
who are seeking full communion with the Roman Catholic Church
(Eucharist and Confirmation). They are considered candidates.

baptized as infants in the Catholic Church but did not receive
any religious upbringing within the Catholic Tradition. These adults
will be prepared to celebrate the sacraments of Penance,
Confirmation and Eucharist. They are also considered candidates.
