Dear Friends,
The key part of HOPE and the gospel is relationships, and without
teachers we have no school. I would like to announce the following
positions have been filled. Thank you for all who have been praying and
we look forward to welcoming 14 new staff.
If you would like to ask any questions please speak to me or one of the
principals about next year and staffing but I am enthusiastic about the
new staff who will be joining us next year.

As we near the end of the year I recognise that it has been an eventful
time with many decisions made and communicated to the school. We
begin to farewell those who are leaving but look forward to new plans for
August 2014 and beyond. As we wait expectantly we give God the glory
and thanks.

now on sale for order!
Order details can will be found on the HOPE
website, Facebook link or in the HOPE
Secondary office.
Purchase your copy for $6.
Orders will be ready for pick up beginning
Monday 2 June.

Whole School Photos will be available
for purchase in the HOPE Secondary Office for $2 and at the HOPE Yard Sale.
*Please remember that school photos contain images of children other than your own, so are not
to be publicized!
In the next few months there
will be a number of new staff
arriving in Cambodia and old
staff leaving.
If you are leaving the country
and have furniture or house-
hold items you think would be
useful for a teacher setting up home here, please contact

We are also seeking rental property options for our
incoming staff. If you are leaving or know of a property for
rent in late July, please let us know as well.

BUILDING HOPE has a Facebook page! “Like” us on
Facebook and check out the newest information as we work
towards building a permanent home for HOPE School.
Parent Council have the honour of purchasing gifts for staff who are leaving
HOPE at the end of this semester. If you would like to donate, please give
money to the cashier at Secondary Office, specifying it is for ‘Parent Council: staff leaving gift’.
We will also have a collection box going round at the Yard Sale – please give
generously in recognition of the hard work and faithful service of these staff.

Table space costs $1/table plus 10% of your takings
on the day. Full details available when you book.
Alternatively, you may donate items to the Parent
Council ‘white elephant’ table.

End of Year School Swimming Carnival
HOPE International School’s swimming carnival is being held on Wednesday 11 June at Phnom Penh Sports Club (next to school) from 8am - 12pm Students should bring: sunscreen, towel, snacks, drinks and a change
of dry clothes for the afternoon. Parents are welcome to attend. There
will be a parents and staff race against students for the final race of the morning. Bring your swim costume if you’d like to participate.
HOPE Graduation and
End of Year Celebration
Will be held Thursday 12th June at ICA Church from 5-7pm.
The Celebration is a whole school event, and all students are expected to
attend. All families are welcome..
As well as farewelling our graduating students, this event is a time to
celebrate the year at HOPE. Awards will be made to students across the school
year levels. Please join us!

students who have had college acceptances and
who are making decisions for the future.
