My assistant Klaus took my diary to the infirmary.
On the 18th, a sniper attempt on my life.
I has taking a tour near Liege and I has wounded.
I was unconscious for one day and three in recover.
The bright side was that the Führer visit me at the Hospital.
We had a pleasant conversation and he was very friendly.
I express the need to return to my command as soon as possible.
He agreed, but forbade me to get too close to the front line.
That was the only downside …
of the visit, excluding the
wound.
It wasn't worth arguing.
I’ll decide in the future,
according to the events.
Today, I had a reunion in my
bed, to see how things are.
Queen Wilhelmina, her family and her government fled. They boarded HMS Hereward, a British destroyer which was to take them to England.
HMS Hereward,
.
Netherland its almost conquer. The capital, Amsterdam is ours and all the ports and airports.
Alkmaar and Gouda, at the end of the day, are conquer, and close the siege to Haarlem. The government fled to London
Dutch woman welcoming German troops in Amsterdam
The battles of Namur
and Bruxelles are won.
Counting the dead
after the battle, they
inform me that 1.522
Belgians bodies were
there. The more deadly
battle to the enemy,
even more than the
battle of Cieszyb, that
we lost 884 men and
they 1.046. We put
82.855 men there, the 3rd large force in a battle.
We just lost 397 men.
In France, our army
advance to St. Dizier
trying to cut the
French army in two.
The French send one
French Division, and one British Indian Division.
Look at the despair of the allies, they are using colonial troops to attack St. Dizier.
We start the Karussell, carrying troops from Pirmasens, Saarbücken, Saarlouis, Luxemburg, Arlon, to the French provinces.
Our army enters Brussels
The Royal Air Force
continues to try to
stop our Luftwaffe.
With the capital of Belgium occupied,
the government fled to Antwerp.
Don’t know why they did that.
They will lose that battle in a few hours,
I’m sure of that. With a bit of luck,
maybe we can capture them, possibly
alive.
Our scientists are trying to develop a better and large warship radar, that would bring +2 to surface detection and air, and +20% in night attack.
For now, every conquer country was occupy
with a collaboration government policy,
except for France, that we
enforced a Military occupation.

The reports continue to arrive to my improvised Headquarter in the Hospital.
As Rotterdam is occupied, the two Fallschirmjäger-Divisions are order to return to Münster.
The victory in Haarlem, made the Dutch retreat to Den Haag. The order to Fallschirmjäger-Divisions to leave, left the province without garrisons.
Dieler, was ordered to take is troops from Amsterdam in a hurry, but did not came in time. Errors of command.
I must leave this Hospital as soon as possible
The Lufttwaffe is now bombing Charleville Mezieres and Verdun to help holding the bridge with St. Dizier.
The Kiel convoy lost one transport, we believe the French are behind this.
The Soviet Union annex the Baltic Countries. According to the Treaty of Non-Aggression between Germany and the Soviet Union, Finland, Estonia and Latvia were assigned to the Soviet
Lithuania, adjacent to East Prussia, would be in the German sphere of influence, although a second secret protocol agreed to in September 1939 reassigned the majority of Lithuania to the USSR sphere.
Schmidt with is Panzer-Division arrived at Charleroi and continue to Hirson, passing Maubeuge, to encircle Philippeville.
A scientific report show that we improved the Infantry Support Weapons to level 4. (More 3,20 in Defensiveness in the Inf, Mar, Par, Mtn, Mot, Mec and WSS.)
That open a spot to try to improve the Cargo Hold of the Planes to improve logistic.
25 May, 1940
The War is not governed by itself.
I decided to discharge myself from hospital.
The first news that I receive was that we won against the French in Antwerpen. They try to retake, in a counter-attack, but they lost.
The Karussell did some damaged in Arlon, The French saw an opportunity, and saw Arlon just with three Headquarters passing by and they attacked. Of course we lost the battle with no casualties because we retreat. Fortunately four divisions were arriving from Luxemburg to Arlon and we did not lost the province.
The Sweden are no more aligning with us.
The French continue to sunk our transporters, two more.
Good news to our fighters. Interception Tactics Advance were improved +20%. With a spot free we focus now on Commander Decision to help choosing targets in the sea.
The French have four divisions in Charleville.
Two of those divisions are completely obliterate by the Luftwaffe.
If we conquer Maubeuge, Hirson and Reims, they will be encircle.
Another four divisions are in Verdum, but the Luftwaffe is not doing so well.
27 May, 1940
Switzerland cancel the trade agreement of 0,39 ℛℳ for 10,50 Energy.
Four more transporter sunk by the French. Our Kriegsmarine is sleeping in the watch. Böhm with one Heavy Cruiser, four Light Cruisers and one Destroyer, was order to escort the route Kiel-Oslo.
Three Divisions arrived at Arlon, defend and defeated the French before the could took the province. We managed to save face.
Verdum was reinforce with more divisions.
Charleville Mezierest is won.
We had 90% of the French forces, but we
still won. They Lost 1.677 man.
The worst lost by enemies in battle with us.
We must credit also the Luftwaffe on this one.
Dordrecht in Netherland is
won and Den Haag is
surrounded.
The III. Fliegerkorps will help
the ground attack on Verdun,
with three tactical bombers
and one Stuka.
Maubeuge is conquered.
When the French realize they try to take it back, but soon they saw that they could not take it back, and give up, losing twelve man.
The French continue to
attack St. Dizier.
To release some pressure,
the Luftwaffe were order
to ground attack on
Chalons en Champagne.
Von Hubicki is still
Resisting with is Panzer
Division against two
Infantry-divisions and four more incoming.
Two Tactical Bomber were send to the ground attack the province near by St. Dizier.
One French Infantry try to break free a patch to Philippeville by Charleroi.
Bad luck for them. We have there four Infantry divisions and two more incoming along with a Panzer-Division.
In Tournai, Belgium, we won, against a force twice as bigger.
The battle of Aaslt in Belgium that was
defend by French, was won, but three
infantry regiments Belgian and one
motorize regiment of some kind was still
trying to defend.
Due to this disproportion of forces in
Bar Sur Aube, we were forced to cancel
the attack and focus on the defense of
St. Dizier.
We lost six man, against seventy nine
of them.
Philippeville is finally surrounded in
accordance with previous plans. Two
Belgian infantry try to escape by Hirson, against the Panzer-Division of Schmidt, but they are too weak to succeed.
Someone screwed up. A new route was
created from Emden to Rotterdam, and
one transporter was sunk.
The route was immediately canceled.
(and the responsible should be shot)…
Our Generals, report that improved the airborne assault tactics advance to level 3 giving more +15%.
28 May, 1940
Den Haag is conquer.
Around five thousand Dutch soldiers
had to surrender.
The French are still trying to
isolate St. Dizier, by conquering
Ste Menehould, but for now we have
a force twice as theirs.
Von Hubicki preventing the Panzer Division to break, prefer to retreat.
It was wise. We or about 1/7 of the French. Sixty-seven thousand men against us. Never a force so big, and so disproportionate.
I have hope that the forces that I dispatched to the province, will arrive in time to save it (the province).
The English sunk another transporter on the Oslo-Kiel convoy.
Our scientists inform that light artillery advance was improved.
+2,40 in toughness.
Now they are trying to improve Infantry Assault Weapons.
Leopold III, King and commander
in chief of the Belgian army,
Surrendered personally to me
this day.
We learn that the Pierlot's
government advised him
otherwise.
His decision was fiercely criticized by Pierlot in a radio broadcast today.
In a speech in Limoges Pierlot declared Leopold's decision to be "an event without precedent in history“ and regarded this act as unconstitutional and deprived the King of his powers and denounced the King as a traitor.
The King is to remain in Belgium during the war as a my guess and not as a prisoner (but will be on surveillance).
The government went into exile and is determined for the continued of military action in the Allied

Roosendaal as fall,. eighty-four
thousand men in the battle.
Ours fifty-five thousand.
The Belgian army is still fighting now
under Allied control.
The province of St. Dizier was lost today.
I can not blame Von Hubicki.
He could not do the impossible.
The French sunk three more convoy
in the Oslo-Kiel convoy and the English two more.
What is the Kriegsmarine doing. Are they sleeping?
I've lost count of the amount of transporters that we already lost.
This must stop.
The French lost the battle of Charleroi in Belgium. We were six times bigger then them.
The troops in Tournai were order to invade Lille. There is an airport there. I believe that if we can conquer that province, we strongly cripple the French
area of operation
The French give up the attack on
Ste. Menehould.
The Luftwaffe is gaining the battle against the RAF.
Cambrai is won.
With this, we have six provinces in France.
Crossing the Belgian-French border
Our Generals discover how to improve the
delay doctrine.
Our Luftwaffe is doing very well, but are worn
out. We started to ground some of them, to
replace parts.
31 May, 1940
Zierikzee is conquer. Two more, and Netherland is ours.
Chalons en Champagne and Ste. Menehould are won by our soldiers.
More one transporter lost in the Oslo-Kiel convoy, sunk by the Englishman. What else it’s new?
What should I do. Norway is becoming expensive.
I believe if France will fall, half of the problem is fixed, but the Inselaffen…
Lille is ours. A nearest airfield to us, one less to them.

The Hungarian government decided to escalate its efforts to resolve the question of Transylvania. Peace in the Balkans is very much in the interest of the Axis Powers, both for strategic and material reasons, and so they suggested to the parties concerned that they solve their problems by direct negotiations.
The Hungarian delegation hoped to gain as much of Transylvania as possible, but the Romanians would have none of that and submitted only a small region for consideration.
Eventually, the Hungarian-Romanian negotiations fell through entirely. After this, the Romanian government asked Italy and Germany to arbitrate.
Romania is aligning with the Axis, and the good relations are providing better benefits from the Oil refinery, but they are drifting at a very slow speed.
Ribbentrop probed the Hungary Government to join the Axis.
They were not interest. Instead they gave us Military Access.
