Samsung Electronics Co, Ltd. a global home appliance innovator, announced the WA6700 wash- ing machine range, a one-stop laundry solution. Samsung’s new innovation in top-load washing machine caters to homes in the region by simplifying the tedious tasks of pre-treatment and pre- wash with its revolutionary Activ dual wash feature. To aid consumers who pre- wash clothing and then lumber over to a washer with wet clothes, Samsung equipped its new machine with Active Dual- wash, a water jet and gentle scrubbing surface built right into the machine. Thanks to the Ac- tive Dualwash, users can pre- treat tough stains, such as heavily soiled sports uniforms or hand wash items like delicate sweaters, and easily pour the water right into the machine. “We are guided by a single philosophy at Samsung: Design for real people and meet real needs, and our new washer meets a real need for Gulf con- sumers. What we heard is that more than a third of consumers in the Gulf still transfer wet clothes from a bathtub or a sink to the washing machine. Often that machine isn’t even in the same area,” said Mohammed Gharaibeh, general manager of digital appliances at Samsung Gulf Electronics. “The Activ Du- alwash is a simple, sophisticated solution to the problem, and it gives our consumers one less thing to worry about in their day.” The WA6700 is also the first Samsung Top loader with Magic Dispenser technology. Con- sumers have even greater peace of mind with the Magic Dis- penser, a powerful water vortex that instantly dissolves detergent inside the dispenser and spreads it evenly onto the laundry. The result is less residue on clothes and no mess in the detergent compartment. Meanwhile the Wobble technology pulsates to prevent clothes from tangling, while creating a powerful vertical motion that keeps clothes out- standingly clean, as the Magic Filter captures lint and particles that conventional washers leave on clothes. In line with Sam- sung’s home appliances, the WA6700 comes with an intu- itive interface and is easy to use and operate. 22 MUSCAT DAILY SUNDAY, MAY 10, 2015 PRESS RELEASES Bank Muscat, the flagship finan- cial services provider in the sul- tanate, as part of its commitment to promote educa- tion and support the future gen- erations, has extended partnership to the Directorate General of Education in the gov- ernorate of Muscat.
