Camera Shots What we see on screen in a film is the result of a careful process. Film directors make
deliberate choices about where to place the camera so that we can see different things at
various points in the film. Depending on the ‘shot’ that the film director chooses, the
different things we see can have a variety of effects.
Look carefully at the different camera shots below and for each one write down:
What you can see in each camera shot;
Why a film director would use the shot.
