Event History and Overview
o First Event Presented in 1992 and Attracts over 100k in attendance, Saluting National Hispanic Heritage Month and the Culture of Mexico.
o 24 Years Later, the event attracts nearly half-million people throughout the Los Angeles County and San Bernardino County and other areas.
o Over 140 exhibit spaces showcasing Latin Artifacts, Foods from around the world, Retail Businesses Promotions, Live Entertainment, Amusement Rides, much more.
o Huntington Park Recognized as the Liveliest City for Great Events.
Special Guests
o Every Year, the Downtown
Festival Recognizes a Special
Guest/Celebrity as a Grand
Marshal of the event.
o Each Guest is presented a Plaque
from the Chamber of Commerce
and a “Key To The City” by the
Mayor and City Council.
o Some of the Guests Honored

Carmen Salinas, TV Reporter

o During excellent weather, attracts nearly
half-million people during its three-days

o Hours of the event are Friday: 5 pm-11pm,
Saturday: 11am-11pm and Sunday: 10am-
10pm
o Nine-continuous downtown city-blocks on
Pacific Blvd. from Florence Ave. to
Randolph St., (equivalent to nearly 12
residential blocks)
o Surveys indicate attendees travel from
counties of Ventura, San Diego, Riverside,
Santa Barbara, Orange and Los Angeles.

o Thirty-three percent (33%) of
the Festival attendees are
between the ages of 22 to
35.
o Forty-five percent (45%) of
the attendees are between
