ERUCICAL ® H-102 HIGH ERUCIC ACID RAPESEED OIL Lubricants and Metalworking Fluids ERUCICAL H-102, commonly referred to as HEAR oil, is ideal for use as a lubricity additive in metalworking fluids and as a base oil in hydraulic fluid applications. The higher molecular weight and unique free fatty acid carbon chain distribution of ERUCICAL H-102 account for its superior lubricity in these applications when compared with other fats, oils and esters. ERUCICAL H-102 is readily biodegradable and ideally suited for applications where recycling is impossible, worker exposure is likely or contact with the environment is inevitable. Compared to other vegetable oils currently available, ERUCICAL H-102 is more compatible with existing vegetable oil emulsifier packages, increases lubricity on all metals, improves corrosion protection and tramp water rejection.
