Located in the Hyatt Regency Hotel, right in the heart of downtown Calgary, Alberta this year's event

promises to provide inspiration through breathtaking dance performances and exhibitions and the

opportunity to expand your dance knowledge through learning opportunities with the world's best

instructors.

There are a number of ways to support the Calgary Dance Stampede. We offer a variety of flexible

Dance Stampede is led by its two inspirational directors and sustained by an amazing lead team that is

supported annually by a troop of local volunteers; together they form the dynamic core organizing team.

who walks through the doors of the event … Through high energy dance performances, world caliber dance

contests and dynamic learning opportunities, our is to inspire generations of dancers, leading toVISION

higher knowledge and positive change in our communities, and thereby, around the world.

The Calgary Dance Stampede is one of two fully sanctioned United Country Western Dance Council

(UCWDC) events in Canada providing a platform for all amateur and professional level dancers to achieve

qualifications for the Country Dance World Championships through unified, world regulated rules, scoring

and judge certifications. Our passion for dance does not end with that, but includes recognition by the

World Swing Dance Council (WSDC) Country Two Step Tour (CTST)and the where amateur and professional

level dancers gain points to advance to higher levels of competition and thus advancing their knowledge and

experience to bring back to our local communities. Adding to this we offer UCWDC certified continuing

educational programs; Master Level lectures and workshops; and National Teachers Association (NTA)

recognized programming.

Join usThe Calgary Dance Stampede enjoys an intimate relationship with its presenters, performers, participants,

non-profit organizations, government bodies, the western Canada dance communities and a network of

national and global media outlets. Through the event, partners have the opportunity to communicate

directly with a very targeted, local and global audience composed of highly motivated, educated and

dance/health lifestyle orientated consumers. Because of this, the event provides partners with a unique

platform to significantly increase brand awareness locally and globally. This is achieved through a variety of

marketing channels including social media, online campaigns, print advertising, media as well as through an
