Dear Hereford Breeders,Welcome to the National Hereford Sale “Hereford Night in OKC.” We look forward to the new format presented to Hereford breeders in Oklahoma City for 2021. This sale will be held at the show site in the super barn.Hereford Night in OKC will once again offer elite Hereford genetics—bulls, females and herd picks. Previously, this sale has proven to bring forward bulls that have left an impact on the Hereford industry. Herd picks offer a unique opportunity for breeders to select proven genetics from leading Hereford operations. The opportunity to select additional lots for this sale at the show will be available again this year. These additions to past national sales have added excitement and another valuable aspect for Hereford breeders to consider. This selection option for the Hereford Night in OKC sale is available for both the open and pen shows. The consignors have been asked to bring their best to this sale and they have delivered on this request. We appreciate their commitment to make this sale offering a great one each year. We thank the consignors from past sales and the ones for this year’s event. They are the ones who have made this sale a great success.Don’t forget to attend the Hereford Eve Sale in OKC on the evening before the National Hereford Sale, which annually offers elite frozen genetics. This sale is slated for Friday evening, Jan. 8, starting at 7:30 p.m. and will be held at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Oklahoma City Northwest. We would like to invite you to the 2021 National Hereford Sale in Oklahoma City. • Homozygous Polled.• Joe has been on us for years to bring a good bred to the

national sale and we think Pearl fits that bill. Pearl is cool necked and smooth shouldered with tremendous depth of body, rib shape and mass that is unparalleled by none. Her sire, Munson, is becoming one of the more popular bulls in the breed as he is producing consistent low birth weight calves that are making great females as well as top herd bulls. Her dam is a daughter of the famous Olivia that was a past National Champion Female. We were excited when the genomics came back and she was homozygous polled and went down on birth weight and up on yearling weight increasing her huge spread, while still maintaining balance in her other numbers as well. Study her teat size and placement, we think she will have a flawless udder and be destined for the donor pen. Pearl checks all the boxes so don’t miss this opportunity.

    • Bred AI May 23, 2020 to DM All Around 904G ET, vet checked safe with a heifer calf pregnancy.

PICK oF ANY FEMALE IN THE HERD

    • Delivery available to TransOva located one hour from Rausch herd.• This has been a feature lot in the National Hereford Sale for several years. When

you look at the list of buyers who have taken advantage of this opportunity, it is pretty impressive.

    • The buyer has access to all herd records, including HerdMaster records. The buyer may select from well over 1,200 polled and horned females. This includes all of the Rausch donors. Over 918 cows have qualified for the Dam of Distinction list since 1980. There were 43 new qualifiers this year.

    • It is impressive to see all the cows, calves and sires in their natural breeding pastures. A full list of females will be provided prior to selection. Records can be sorted on any trait in the largest in-herd database in the breed.

    • Full possession, plus right to flush. You may pick any female in the herd after calving and prior to breeding or during summer breeding season prior to weaning. Also have the right to purchase calf at side.

    • Buyer to make selection by September 1, 2021.• For more pictures and information, go to www.RauschHerefords.com.

    • When we made our pick from the of the Rausch Herd back in 2018, we had high hopes for the future. Fast forward to now, the future is here on the ground and we sure are excited. 10H is a direct daughter of our pick, R Miss On Target 634, sired by the past Denver champion, Mighty 49C. This female represents the facets of our program that we strive to produce every breeding season. Phenotype, performance and pedigree. Possessing a striking look, this goggle-eyed May heifer is dark red and soggy made. A superb set of EPDs and a proven pedigree allow us to believe that 10H is a future donor in waiting. Her story is easy to tell and will make her and her offspring that much more marketable for years to come. Find this heifer in OKC at the Hopper Herefords stall in January! • If you are in it for the Long Haul, I would take a serious look at Lady 739. We have focused on balance in our mating decisions and this checks all the boxes. Balanced EPDs, great birth to YW spread, top 15% of breed in sustained cow fertility, BMI$ and BII$. Top it off with a royal pedigree from the proven producer of herd sires Churchill Lady 002x and the Sensation son NJW Long Haul 36E that hits all the marks of his popular sire 028x and then some. Phenotypically, she is ideal in a lot of ways; length of body, smooth shouldered, big hip, great set of feet and legs that can get out and move. This fall heifer has unlimited potential and one to consider if you are looking for a foundation female.

    • Will be bred to BG LCC 11B Perfecto 84F with sexed heifer semen for a September calf. Breeding/calving date will be updated for sale day. Updated photo and video will be available on our website and social media. We are retaining two (2) flushes at seller expense and buyer convenience for a minimum of six (6) embryos per flush.

    PICK of BULL PEN

    • We are elated to offer the pick of our 2021 pen. This pick will include the top end of an incredible flush to two-time Denver Supreme Champion, BR Belle Air 6011, to our no miss 410 donor. 410 has produced two of the top young females in our herd with outstanding udder quality as well as the popular pick out of our 2018 Denver pen by Ehlke Herefords: Bar Star Magnitude 737. These flush mates are big ribbed, powerful, sound moving cattle, that are colored right for the times and have the milk, carcass and indexes to set them apart within the breed. If you have been waiting for a smooth polled Belle Air son with something that is not quite as mainstream on the bottom side, here is your chance.

    • To make things interesting we will also be including as part of the pen and pick, a March ET son of Magnitude out of the big-time producer 84B cow purchased from NJW. She has produced over $150,000 in progeny sales starting with her first calf, NJW 84B 10W Journey 53D, at $50,000 and continued her fame on with the $55,000 2019 NJW high seller, NJW 84B 4040 Fortified 238F. 036 has a big-time herd bull type build, in a smooth polled, high WDA package.

This heifer mother won her division at the 2017 Junior Nationals and we see the same kind of potential in her. This one’s phenotype is impeccable don’t miss out on one this good and breed as good as any!

    • This mating with National Champion Polled bull “Double Your Miles” and “Bailee” simply works. This female was held out of our 2020 fall female sale because we wanted to offer a really good one in the National sale. She is a full sister to 8105. She was the high selling female in our 2018 sale at $99,000 and went on to be named Champion Polled Female in Fort Worth 2020. 9331 blends so many good things into one package. She is put together extremely well and we feel she has as much potential as any to excel in the showring. She is perfect on the ground and is hard to fault. If buyer desires we would be interested is showing this female at Junior Nationals summer of 2021 before she will calve. SHE WILL BE BRED TO THE HOTTEST YOUNG SIRE IN THE BREED GENESIS. Updated breeding information will be available sale day.

    • This Perfecto daughter is the first natural calf born from the 2019 National Western Junior Show Reserve Champion Polled Female, T/R Elsie E118 ET (Georgie). Georgie was also the 2019 National Western Polled Reserve Division Champion in the open show and the 2018 American Royal Reserve Division Champion in the junior show. Georgie was also recognized as the overall heifer points winner of the Missouri Club Calf Association. She had a tremendous show record and has made a really good production female. Georgie had a 105-nursing ratio on her first calf.

    • The sire, Perfecto, continues to gain strength as a CE sire with balanced numbers. This female is in the top 10% of the breed for BII$ and BMI$. Beau showed this female successfully over the past year. She was second in class at the 2020 JNHE Bred & Owned show and the 2020 National Western junior show. This bred heifer checks many positive boxes and would be a great addition to any program.

    • Bred to JB Ribeye Diamond JD7 ET, son of NJW 98S R117 Ribeye 88X ET) and due May 2, 2021.

    PICK of BULL PEN

    • We purchased a flush on the immortal HH Miss Advance 0041X ET in the 2018 Mile High Eve Sale, and these six brothers are the result. This is quite possibly the best and most uniform set of bulls we’ve ever raised here on the ranch. We think enough of them that they will make up our Carload of Bulls in January.

    • HH Miss Advance 0041X ET has long been known as a proven herd bull producer as well as foundation females. She is a top daughter of the $175,000 5139R donor cow. She is big bellied, deep ribbed, huge topped, well-marked, great uddered and extra fancy. As mentioned, 0041X has produced many sale topping young herdsires for Holden Herefords. Most recently, her ET son HH ADVANCE 9033G ET sold to Coleman Herefords and Cooper Hereford Ranch in the 2020 Holden Herefords Bull Sale.

    • Flushing 0041X to CL 1 Domino 215Z was an absolute no brainer. He is arguably the most exciting L1 bull in recent years due to his outstanding carcass performance. Earlier this year, his progeny data came back from the National Reference Sire Program at Olsen Ranch. Of the 21 head harvested, they graded 100% Choice, 86% Upper 2/3 Choice and 14% Prime.

proven young donors in the Buck program. The EPD profiles these females bring to the table, combined with their phenotype will take your program to the next level.

    • I can without a doubt say, The Brothers, are two of the best animals to have ever been raised on this place. They are both so unique and similar in several ways, yet still different in terms of what they can do for operations that are moving in opposite directions with their sellable calf crops. Like their sire, T/R BPF Americanclassic 561C ET, they’re both stout, powerful bulls who hit the ground with good feet and legs. Along with that, they can still grab your eye with the way they carry themselves across the pen. We are expecting an immediate impact in next fall’s calf crop. Moving forward, we are extremely excited to see what they can do in our operation and others alike.

    • Sale terms: Offering 1/2 semen interest and 1/2 possession. Season of possession is buyer’s choice. Buyer has the option to double down and take full possession, but T/R Cattle Company is retaining at least 1/4 of semen rights and sales.
