OMC INDIVIDUAL WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

ONLINE 2020 GENERAL RULES

• Free Registration for 2020 OMC WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP.

• Registrations accepted only by OMC Affiliated Members, current with 2020 Membership dues.

• All competitors must abide by the OMC Competition Guidebook 2020 version 30.

• For tests on mannequin heads, competitors must use MH from one of the 4 official sponsors.

• If the competitor e-mail is fake, OMC will cancel their registration.

• The organization president must register their national jurors and upload their photos.

• The backdrop of the Hair, Makeup and Nail photos must be white or black.

• All tests are carried out on Mannequin Head and Live Model.

The affiliated OMC member countries President: must register their organization official jurors and delegates, as well upload or e-mail their organization competitors names stating in which test, they are competing in the 2020 Online OMC Individual World Championship. Plus upload the requested photos and e-mails as requested in the delegate page. The competitors of each organization can register on its own and upload the photos and the photos of their category test (s).

COMPETITORS REGISTRATIONS (must be approved by their OMC affiliated member national organization)

Competitors may register on its own and upload their personal photo plus the photos of their selected category test. Juniors competitors must upload their personal photo plus their photo ID and the photos of their category test.

UPLOAD PHOTOS OF THEIR SELECTED CATEGORIES. A competitor must upload 3 photos for each test. Front, Side, Back (views). The backdrop of the photo must be white or black. Forbidden to receive identical photos from other competitor from the same or other countries.

AESTHETICS SECTION UPLOAD PHOTOS: ONLY (1) PORTRAIT FRONTAL PHOTO IS REQUAIRED.

IDENTICAL HAIRSTYLE PHOTO It is forbidden to receive identical photo of a hairstyle of MH / Model from the same or other countries competitors. If this would be the case, OMC will accept only the first participant. All other will be rejected. IDENTICAL DRESS ATTIRE To avoid jurors to recognize individual countries competitors by their dress attire, It is forbidden to receive identical dress attire of their MH / Model from the same or other countries competitors. If this would be the case, OMC will accept only the first participant. All other will be rejected.

A competitor competing in multiple categories may use the same dress attire for their MH / Model (optional).

TRAINERS/COMPETITORS - INTEGRITY . OMC suggest that all trainer allow each competitor to present his or her own work and not the work finished by someone else / trainer or other competitor. If OMC notice any fraudulent behavior, beside disqualifying the photo OMC will disqualify the competitor concerned for 2 years. It is essential to maintain our integrity and fairness in OMC championships.

OMC JURY GROUPS OMC jurors’ groups will be selected from countries official jurors together with OMC professional jurors.

OMC COMPETITION ADVISORY BOARD OMC advisory board at its absolute discretion may disqualify any entries made by a participant. If the competitors work was not created by the competitors who have register. If this is the case, the competitor will be disqualified for 2 years.

AWARDS The 1st 2nd 3rd of the Sr. competitors will receive Diplomas with the Image of their Medals, 4th to the 7th Place Diplomas. The OMC DIAMONT AWARD will be Awarded to the individual OMC WORLD CHAMPIONS. The 1st 2nd 3rd Jr. competitors will receive Diplomas with the image of their Medals, 4th to the 7th Place Diplomas

Competition Rules - Sr Ladies

DISQUALIFICATION if Mannequin Head is not from one of OMC's Official Sponsors

Complete or Half Body Mannequins are Forbidden. Mannequin must be presented on a Tripod.



Creative Style Ladies – Individual

Mannequin Head (only from the OMC official sponsors)

No competitor age indication - all ages accepted

The competitors must present online 3 photos, front, side and back views of the MH.

Props of any kind are forbidden.

1. Styling tools All styling tools are allowed.

2. Shaving Shaving the mannequin head scalp is forbidden.

3. Products All fixing products are allowed.

4. Color A maximum or 3 harmoniously hair colors + the transition shade color is allowed.

Allowed colors: white, black, brown, blond, silver, purple. Orange, red. Pink.

All other colors + Spray colors are forbidden.

5. Supports The use of any kind of supports in the hairstyle is forbidden.

6. Hair Additions Hairpieces and ornaments of any kind on the hair or in the face are forbidden.

7. Painting It is forbidden to paint the skin of the MH.

8. Jury The Jury will judge the general impression of the style and color. The jurors must be able to see

the complete hairstyle, including the top.

9. Scores Maximum: 30 points

Minimum: 25 points

10. Penalty Points 30 per infraction

Hair by Night

Ladies - Individual







3. Color A maximum or 3 harmoniously hair colors + the transition shade color.

Allowed colors: white, black, brown, blond, silver, purple. Orange, red. pastel pink.


4. Hairpiece(s) The competitor can use hair hairpieces not pre-styled in advance.

(Not applicable for virtual competitions)

The hair pieces and ornament must not cover more than 40% of the entire head.

5. Painting It is forbidden to paint the skin, as well use any kind of decoration on the face of the MH.

6. Jury The Jury will judge the general impression of the style and color. The judges must be able to see

Fashion Salon Style Ladies - Individual

OMC will send “Inspiration Guidelines Brochure” of the concerned categories. The hair style presented on the championship

must reflect the inspiration images shown on the “Inspiration Guidelines Brochure” .

If this is not the case the competitor will be penalized.

The competitors create a fashion Salon style on long hair, with a total look in mind.

The finish style must not be technical or progressive. If this is the case, the competitor will be penalized .

1. Hair length The hair must be shoulder length or longer. Layers are optional. The minimum layered length

must be 10 cm, except in the bang area. (Not applicable for virtual competitions)

2. Color A maximum or 3 harmoniously hair colors + the transition shade color is allowed. Allowed colors: white, black, brown, blond, silver, pastel purple, pastel pink. Pastel orange.


3. Styling A minimum 60% of the hair must be styled down loose - free in the back of the head. (not flat to the head)

4. Styling Tools All styling tools are allowed, including the use of hair pins during the working time.


6. Ornaments Ornaments are forbidden.





Minimum: 25 points





Fashion Evening Style Ladies – Individual






must reflect the inspiration images shown on the “Inspiration Guidelines Brochure”.


The competitors create a Fashion Evening style on long hair, with a total look in mind.


1. Hair length The hair must be shoulder length or longer. Layers are optional. The minimum layered length

must be 10 cm, except in the bang area. (Not applicable for virtual competitions)

2. Color A maximum or 3 harmoniously hair colors + the transition shade color is allowed.

Allowed colors: white, black, brown, blond, silver, pastel purple, pastel pink, pastel orange.



4. Products All products are allowed.

5. Hairpieces Hairpieces are forbidden.

6. Supports Supports and ornaments are forbidden.


8. Jury The Jury will judge the general impression of the style and color. The judges must be able to

see the complete hairstyle, including the top.


Minimum: 25 points





Avant-Garde Cut / Color Ladies - Individual





The Avant-Garde category is based on the creativity of the Cut and hair color.

OMC will send inspirations photos for the competitors to follow the general concept.

1. Hairstyle the competitors must create an Avant-Garde cut with colors on stage.

2. Tools All Cutting tools & styling tools are allowed .

3. Accessories It is forbidden to dress the hair with accessories.

4. Forbidden Fantasy hairstyles are forbidden.

5. Hair Color All hair colors are allowed, spray colors are forbidden.

6. Ornaments It is forbidden to use ornaments in the hairstyle or facial masks in the face.


8. Jury A professional Jury panel will judge this competition. The Jury will judge the general

impression of the cut, style and color, not of the clothes. The face of the MH must not be

covered with a mask or decorations.


Minimum: 25 points





Fantasy Style Ladies - Individual




The competitors create a pre-done fantasy hairstyle. Judging will be based on the creativity of the Fantasy of the Hairstyle,

and not of the wardrobe/dress of the MH.


1. Facial Masks It is forbidden to use ornaments or mask in the model face.

2. Hair Colors All hair colors are allowed.

3. Ornament One (1) ornament is allowed, must not cover more than 30% of the head

4. Judging Creativity and originality of the Fantasy of the Hairstyle, and not of the dress of the

Mannequin.


Minimum: 25 points





Commercial Salon Cut Ladies – Individual

1. Cut Before the start of the test, the hair length must be a minimum of 10 cm all over the head. The

hair must not be pre-cut or pre-styled in advance. (Not applicable for virtual competitions)


3. Cutting tools All cutting tools are allowed.

4. Hair Color A maximum of 2 harmonious color + the transition shade color is allowed.

Allowed colors: white, black, brown, blond, silver, pastel pink.

All other hair colors + Spray colors are forbidden.



7. Ornaments Ornaments of any kind on the hair or face are forbidden.


9. Jury The Jury will judge the general impression of the cut, style and color. The judges must be able

to see the complete hairstyle, including the top.


Minimum: 25 points





Fashion Pro - Cut

Ladies – Individual


No competitor age indication - all ages accepted ________________________________________________________________________________________________________






The Fashion -Pro Cut must be consumer-oriented example: (old Sassoon looks) in cut & style.

Extreme hair colors will be penalized.

1. Cut Before the start of the test, the hair length must be a minimum of 10 cm all over the head,

including the nape area. The hair must not be pre-cut and/or pre-styled. The hair must be cut

a minimum of 5 cm during the allowed time. (Not applicable for virtual competitions)



4. Color A maximum of 2 harmoniously hair colors + the transition shade color allowed.

Allowed colors: white, black, brown, blond, silver, pastel purple, pastel pink.




7. Ornaments Ornaments of all kinds on the mannequin head / face are forbidden.

8. Painting It is forbidden to paint the skin, as well use any kind of decoration on the hair or face of the MH.

10. Jury A supranational Jury panel will judge this competition. The Jury will judge the general

impression of the cut, style and color. The judges must be able to see the complete hairstyle,

including the top.


Minimum: 25 points





Fashion Gala Style Ladies – INDIVIDUAL








The competitors create a Fashion Gala Style on long hair, with a total look in mind.

The finish style must be a fashion gala style; any technical or progressive work will be penalized.

1. Hair length The hair must be shoulder length or longer. Layers are optional,

2. Hairpiece(s) The competitor can use hair hairpieces not pre-styled in advance


The hair pieces and ornament must not cover more than 40% of the entire head.

3. Hair Support Hair fillers are allowed.

4. Hair Colour A maximum of 2 harmoniously hair colors + the transition shade color.

Allowed colors: white, black, brown, blond, silver, pastel pink.

All other hair colors + spray colors are forbidden.

5. Ornaments Ornaments are allowed but must not cover more than 20% of the head.

7. Jury The Jury will judge the general impression of the Prestige Gala Style.

9. Score Maximum: 30 points

Minimum: 25 points





Fashion Bridal Style Ladies-Individual








The competitors create a Fashion Bridal Style on long hair, with a total look in mind.

The finish style must be fashion oriented; any technical or progressive work will be penalized.

1. Hair length The hair must be shoulder length or longer. Layers are optional.

2. Hair Color A maximum of 2 harmoniously hair color + the transition shade color is allowed.

Allowed colors: white, brown, blond, pastel pink.



4. Styling Tools All styling tools are allowed.

5. Ornaments Ornament are allowed but must not cover more than 20% of the head.

6. Jury The Jury will judge the general impression of the style and harmony of the color. The judges

must be able to see the complete hairstyle, including the top.


Minimum: 25 points





Competition Rules - Jr Ladies

DISQUALIFICATION if mannequin head is not from one of OMC's official sponsors.

Complete or Half portions of body mannequins are forbidden. The mannequin must be presented on a tripod.

Competitor age limit 22 years, not having reached the age of 23 on the competition day (day of 23rd birthday excluded)



JUNIOR

Creative Style Junior Ladies - Individual





Hair extensions are forbidden.




4. Hair Colors Maximum or 3 harmoniously integrated hair colors + the transition shade color is allowed.

Allowed colors: white, blond, pink, purple, orange, red.


5. Supports The use of any kind of supports in the hairstyle is forbidden.

6. Hair Additions Hairpieces and ornaments are forbidden on the hair as well on the face.





Minimum: 25 points

JUNIOR Fashion Bridal Style

Junior Ladies- Individual








The competitors create a Fashion Bridal Style on long hair, with a total look in mind.

Allowed color: white, Brown, blond, pastel pink.

All other color +Spray colors are forbidden.


4. Styling Tools All styling tools are allowed.

Competition Rules - Sr Gents

Complete or portions of body mannequins are forbidden. The mannequin must be presented on a tripod.



Creative Style Gents - Individual




At finish, the mannequin heads must be presented facing the mirrors straight on.



1. Color A maximum of 3 harmoniously colors + the transition shade color is allowed.

Allowed colors: white, black, brown, blond, silver.

All other colors + spray color are forbidden.

2. Length The hair length is free.


4. Cut Cutting is forbidden.


6. Products All fixing products are allowed (gels, waxes, sprays)

7. Make-up Any make-up that is considered inappropriate by the Wise Men will be penalized.



9. Clothes Off subject clothes will be penalized. Jacket is a must


Minimum: 25 points





Classic Cut

Gents -Individual






1. Length The top length is free. If the hair length is found to be shorter than 4 cm from the occipital area

down to the neckline and over the side perimeter of the ears, penalty points will be assessed. The

sideburns can be pre-cut. (Not applicable for virtual competitions)

2. Color Black only. Spray colors are forbidden.


4. Tools Clippers and thinning shears are forbidden. (Not applicable for virtual competitions)

5. Cut The neckline must be traditionally tapered and graduated.

6. Styling All styling tools and products are allowed.

7. Make up Any make-up that is considered inappropriate will be penalized.

8. Clothes Off subject clothes will be penalized. Jackets are a must.




Minimum: 25 points





Commercial Cut

Gents – Individual









The finish style must be salon commercial oriented; any technical or progressive work will be penalized.

1. Length The hair length on top must be a minimum of 8 cm long. The hair length from the occipital area

down to the neckline and over the side perimeter of the ears, must be a minimum of 4cm long. If

this is not the case, penalty points will be assessed. The sideburns can be pre-cut.


2. Cut Tools All Cutting tools are allowed.

3. Styling Allowed to use only 1 brush and blow dryer! All other tools are forbidden.


4. Products Fixing products (wax, gel, sprays) can be used.

5. Color A maximum of 2 harmoniously + the transition shade color allowed.

Allowed colors: white, black, silver, brown, blond.

All other colors + spray colors are forbidden.






Minimum: 25 points





Curly-Commercial Cut (with perm) Gents – Individual










The finish style must be curly. If this is not the case, the competitor will be penalized .

1. Length The top length must have a minimum of 8 cm long. from the occipital area down to the neckline

the hair must have a minimum of 4 cm of hair length. (Not applicable for virtual competitions)

2. Cutting All cutting tools are allowed.

If this is not the case, penalty points will be assessed. The sideburns can be pre-cut.

Classic Fade Cut


Live Model


The competitors must present online 3 photos, front, side and back views of the Model.



At finish, the model must be facing the mirrors straight on. If this is not observed, penalty will be assessed.

1. Length The top hair length is free. The hair length must be a minimum of 3 cm from the occipital

area down to the neckline and on the perimeter of the ears. If the hair length is found to be

shorter than 3 cm, penalty points will be assessed. The sideburns or beard can be cut in

advance. (Not applicable for virtual competitions)

2. Allowed Color The top hair above the occipital bone area of MH may be harmoniously colored. (optional)

maximum 2+the transition shade color. Allowed colors: White, black, silver, blond.

Below the occipital area the hair must be black. Spray colors are forbidden.

3. Tools All tools are allowed.

4 Styling All styling tools and blow dryer are allowed. The finished style on the top must have a

finished texture using rack /comb. OMC inspiration images must be followed. Smooth finish

will be penalized.

7. Clothes Off subject clothes will be penalized.

8. Jury The Jury will judge the general impression of the graduation /classic fade.


Minimum: 25 points




Low Skin Fade Cut Gents – Individual

Live Model


The competitors must present online 3 photos, front, side and back views of the Model.



1. Length The top hair length of the models must not be styled in advance. If this is the case, the

competitor will be penalized. (Not applicable for virtual competitions)

2. Allowed Color The hair above the occipital bone area may be harmoniously colored. (optional)

Maximum 2 + the transition shade color is allowed.

Allowed colors; Black, white, silver, blond.

Below the occipital area the hair color must be black. Spray colors are forbidden.

3. Tools All types of scissors, clippers and razors are allowed.

4. Part Part/s are optional. However, the part`s or skin parts must be cut during the competition time

and not prepared in advance, otherwise penalty points will be attributed.

5. Skin Fade Cut The Low Skin Fade Cut, must not be higher than the occipital bone area . Carving designs are

forbidden. The example of the OMC inspiration flyer that will be sent and shown on social

media must be followed.

6. Finger Styling The finished style must be commercial / street casual look (not stylized). It is forbidden to use

blow-dryers or any other styling tools. If this is the case, the competitor will be penalized.

7. Clothes Off subject clothes will be penalized.

8. Jury The Jury will judge the general impression of the low skin fade cut / graduation.


Minimum: 25 points




OMC MASTER - HAIR REPLACEMENT

Commercial Cut Gents – Individual




Aderans OMC exclusive sponsor of the “Master Hair Replacement”







1. Base The base of the Hair-Replacement must be 7 inches wide by 9 Inches long = 17 by 23 cm.


2. Length The length of the hairpiece must be of a minimum of (4) Inches long through the entire unit.


3. Cutting tools All cutting tools are allowed during the competition.

4. Styling tools All styling tools including Blow Dryer are allowed. The finished style must be commercial.

Competition Rules – Jr Gents

Complete or portions of body mannequins are forbidden. The mannequin must be presented on a tripod.




Creative Style

Junior Gents – Individual







1. Length The hair length is free.




Allowed colors; white, black, silver, brown. Blond.






Minimum: 25 points






Classic Cut

Junior Gents - Individual




At finish the mannequin head must face the mirrors strait forward. If the mannequin head is tilted in any other position

the Wise Men will adjust the position of all the mannequin heads concerned.

1. Length The top length is free. If the hair length is found to be shorter than 4 cm from the occipital area

down to the neckline and over the side perimeter of the ears, penalty points will be assessed.

The sideburns can be pre-cut. (Not applicable for virtual competitions)

2. Color Black only. Spray colors are forbidden.

3. Tools Clippers and thinning shears are forbidden. All other cutting tools are allowed.


4. Cut The nape must be traditionally graduated.

5. Styling tools All styling tools and products are allowed.





Minimum: 25 points






Commercial cut

Junior Gents - Individual

Commercial Bridal Makeup Ladies – Individual

The competitors must present 1 frontal portrait photos of the Model.

It is essential that the Casual Bridal Make-Up is simple and commercial in nature.


1. The model should be with NO permanent make-up (lips, eyebrows, eyelash lines) and NO eyelash extension!

2. The main colors in commercial Bridal Make-up may be brown, grey, black, burgundy, gold, bronze, soft

violet and any pastel colors (peachy, rosy, pistachio and so on). (neon colors will be penalized)

3. Clear and bright colors (e.g. navy blue, green, bright yellow, bright violet) can be used ONLY as an EMPHASIS

(for the eyelash line, kajal, inner corners of the eyes).

4. It is forbidden to use stencils, rhinestones or other decorations.

5. The design must be maintained inside the circle of the eyes.

6. Make-up graphic elements are forbidden in the circle of the eyes.

7. False individual or multiple eyelashes are allowed during the competition

Creative Trend Makeup Ladies – Individual

7. The Jury and Wise Men will take this into consideration.

up-to-date design. The designs can be created in the circle of the eyes as well above the eyebrows/forehead.

A supranational Jury panel will judge this competition.

Eyebrow Shaping & Tinting Ladies Individual

Models will be presented with their hair tied up. Models must have no permanent make-up (tattoo) on their faces and no

extended eyelashes. They must wear plain white t-shirts (no printings, no rhinestones, no logos) with short sleeves and covering

the waist, as well as black trousers or skirts long enough to cover the knees.

Labor safety rules and hygiene requirements must be observed.

1. Facial foundation, light face contouring or blushing, black mascara, colorless lip gloss is allowed. Eyebrows

should look natural and not have been shaped or tinted two weeks before the championship.

2. Bright accessories are forbidden.

3. Classic shaping method: only tweezers must be used.

4. Eyebrows must be tinted only with eyebrow tint. All natural tinting shades are allowed. During the shaping and

tinting process, it is allowed to use eyebrow pencils, but the final work must be presented without any color

cosmetics on eyebrows, except clear eyebrow gel or clear eyebrow wax. The use of foundation or concealer to

cover redness on the skin around the eyebrows is allowed.

5. The use of eyebrow restoration or extension products is forbidden.

6. Eyebrow henna is strictly forbidden.

The model should be beautifully dressed. The dress and the hair should be in the salon commercial style and reflect

the latest evening fashion trends.

The model should be with NO permanent make-up (lips, eyebrows, eyelash lines) and NO eyelash extensions!

It is essential that the Smoky Eyes Makeup is simple and commercial in nature.

(neon colors will be penalized)


The idea of this competition is to present Commercial Smoky Eyes Make-Up

Smoky Eyes Make-up should be performed in commercial colors and represent CLASSIC Smoky Eyes Make-up:

smoothly blended eyeshadows from the dark color (next to the eyelash line) to the light colors (area under the

eyebrow) (which means to blend smoothly the eyeshadows layering the dark colors next to the eyelash line and light

colors under the eyebrow area).

1. Smoky Eyes Makeup Test is a technical test which should represent SALON COMMERCIAL MAKE-UP.

2. It is forbidden to use stencils, rhinestones or other decorations.

3. False individual or multiple eyelashes are allowed during the competition.

4. The design must be maintained inside the circle of the eyes.

5. Make-up graphic elements are forbidden in the circle of the eyes.

Eyebrow Tattoo Student Individual test

Ladies Mannequin Face

All ages accepted ___________________________________________________________________________________ The competitors proceed with their single mannequin face to the competitor’s village holding area. The mannequin face

must be clean without stencils marcs or any sign of pre done preparation. The Wise Men will direct the competitors to the

working station. The competitors will place their single mannequin head / face on the assigned working tables.

After the General Commissioner has given the starting time. The competitor has 45 minutes to design the shape of

eyebrows of the mannequin.

Props of any kind are forbidden

The Mannequin Lip and Eyeliner must be prepared in advance .

1. Shape: The shape of Eyebrows, must have an overall harmony.

2. Eyebrow Color: Uniform and tridimensional color.

3. Eyebrow Line: Must be on Moderate Length depth and radian. Moderate thickness and structure, smooth

and Natural.

Judging

The jurors will judge the originality and overall finish appearance of the creation of the Eyebrow Tattoo .

A supranational Jury panel from different countries selected by OMC will judge the Student Eyebrow Tattoo

competition.
