Our 1/7 Association has contracted buses for our trip to MCAB 29 Palms on Friday, Oct 30, 2020.NOT ALL buses are ADA accessible. Bus transportation for those of you who will require awheelchair lift will be extremely limited. Please fill out the ADA form below and remit it with yourregistration, so that we can accommodate your special needs. Wheelchair space is extremely limitedand will be filled on a first come first serve basis.

If you are able to board a bus with some assistance and your wheelchair or scooter can be folded tofit in the baggage compartment of the bus and you do NOT require special ADA accommodations,please let us know that as well. Please note it on the transportation request form below.

Friday: Day trip toMARINE CORPS BASE

29 PALMS

VISIT: Come and interact with the Marines that are currently walking in your footprints. This tour willstart off with a Welcome by the 1/7 CO, followed by a Meet & Greet with active duty 1/7 Marines.You will view a weapons and equipment presentation first, then move on to some entertainment &competition activities as well as a Q&A with Active Duty Staff.

LUNCH: will be hoagies catered by MCCS and will be your choice of Turkey and Swiss or Ham andAmerican cheese, served on a hoagie roll with lettuce and tomato. Seasonal fruit and melons, berriesand citrus. Garden Vegetables with ranch, plus potato chips and dip. This is the only lunch optionavailable for you and is included in the trip cost.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: Our 1/7 Memorial Service will be held at the Base Theater. Here we willpay tribute to and read the names of our 566 Marines and Corpsman who made the ultimate sacrifice.

LADIES COFFEE SOCIAL – SATURDAY OCT 31, 2020

We are excited about the upcoming 1/7 Marine Vietnam Veteran Association Reunion in Oct. 2020.We look forward to having a social gathering with lots of laughs, games and prizes. Light refreshments will beserved.

In 2018, we had an outstanding turnout for the First Ladies Function. Our time seemed to be so short as we hadso many things to share with our fellow 1/7 Ladies. This experience was rewarding on so many levels. Ourladies found that we have much more in common than we ever realized.

In Oct 2020, we hope to be able to take up where we left off in 2018. Our function will include games, prizes,refreshments, a round robin, a brief talk by one of our ladies, and just time for us to further our connectionthrough our sisterhood. We will also be having a VA Rep speaking directly to us Ladies about the VA andhighlighting some of the new benefits available to us as a Veterans caregiver. This will be followed by a Q & Asession, and should be very informative, so come, listen and learn. This event is free and open to ALL ladiesattending the 1/7 reunion, wives, significant others, daughters, nieces, you are all welcome.

family members.With each reunion we grow, and because we do that means
