The Manager Training program provides food service managers, operators, and owners with accurate, up-to-date information on all aspects of handling food, from receiving and storing to preparing and serving. The principles learned in this course can easily be applied and practiced by all food service workers.

Food safety training for managers, operators, and owners. Upon successful completion of the course and exam, participants receive a Certificate of Completion from ServSafe and an Ohio Food Protection Certification from the Ohio Department of Health (ODH).

Don’t have the time to sit through a Manager Food Safety Training? Can’t find one near you?

OSU Extension has partnered with TAP (Training Achievement Program) Series to Offer an on-line version of Manager Food Safety training which meets all ODH requirements. Complete the online course at your own speed and at a time that works for you. Once training is completed, you will take a proctored certification exam at OSU Extension, Holmes Co. Exams are scheduled each month. CALL FOR MORE INFORMATION.

Registration fees will not be refunded. If notification of your inability to attend is received prior to the first session of the program, your paid registration will be honored at a subsequent Manager or Person in Charge program. You must be officially enrolled in the new class prior to its registration deadline. We reserve the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment.
