You’ll build goodwill in the community and within your company by providing employee engagement opportunities, all while helping your neighbors in need. From the time the foundation is poured, to the home dedication ceremony, hundreds of your employees will work closely engaging in meaningful experiences both on and off the build site. Frame Up Sponsorship: $15,000
This is the ultimate wall-raising event, but your team will have to build them first! Host a build day in YOUR parking lot by building all of the interior and exterior walls of a future Habitat home. Habitat doesn’t give away free homesHabitat partner families help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay a low- to no-interest 30-year mortgage, capped at 30% of their income.
Homeowners contribute to the economyDuring our last fiscal year, Habitat homeowners paid more than $737,000 in property taxes in Dane County.
Habitat wears a lot of (hard) hatsIn addition to building new houses, Habitat also partners with homeowners across Dane County in need of interior and exterior repair work through the Habitat Home Repair program. Habitat also offers Financial Capability Training for families to work on their credit, budgeting and financial health so they are able to become homeowners by qualifying for traditional financing outside of the Habitat program.
