Thank you for taking a moment to go through our annual report. It’s important to regularly pause,

look back, and praise God for all that He has done. Our annual report and the annual meeting are

LCC’s yearly rhythm in gathering and celebrating the ways we have seen God be faithful in our

church. Whether you are reading this as a long-time church member, a first-time attender, or

anywhere in between, our greatest hope is that you will rejoice with us in all that God is doing here.

You will notice many different details in this report. The easiest things to see are the physical

numbers of things that we count: number of events, number of people, number of baptisms, andnumbers of things that we count: number of events, number of people, number of baptisms, and

even numbers showing our finances. Each one of those numbers represents a moment, a person,

or a resource that God is using to make a difference across this church, and for that, we are deeply

thankful. Let us also remember that these numbers are only part of the full story. Behind every

number counted is something much more important: Lives that have been changed by the gospel

for the glory of God.

THIS IS WHAT IT IS ALL ABOUT! Not just counting numbers but seeing people transformed by

Laughter and tears. Shouts and cries. A year in which God has used every moment to shape

and mold the people of this church into the likeness of Jesus.

• Our “Gather to Scatter” vision has been a unifying theme for our groups. The vision for “Gather to Scatter” is taken from 1 Peter 2:9

which tells us that as God’s people we are to show others the goodness of God. Through God’s Word, authentic community,

others-centeredness, and a love-transformed life, our groups are designed to equip people to show God’s goodness. Thus, we gather

to scatter!

• Meeting throughout the year, 595 people participated in 39 Home Groups.

• Through Learning Groups, 249 people participated in 12 short-term growth experiences.

• The Haven, a discipleship community, continues to grow and expand as families have gathered throughout the year.

• On average, 260 kids were ministered to each week. We were blessed to have a team of 110 adult leaders volunteering in

Kids’ Church throughout the year.

• Over 220 kids, along with 52 leaders, participated in AWANA this year.

• Thirteen kids were baptized and twenty babies were dedicated in 2019.

• VBS was attended by 250 kids. Over 150 volunteers ministered to the kids during this three-day event.

• Fall Fest was revamped with a gospel-based craft center, presenting the Gospel more clearly and personally to every child.

• Our YouTube channel is going strong, making worship services more accessible to those unable to get to our physical campus.

• Our ongoing weekly worship experience continues to meet every Friday night.

• We worked on building the worship team by adding new volunteers, intentionally building relationships within the team, providing

training and discipleship, and coming to greater unity around our vision for worship.

• We added new technology and equipment to enhance the music and sanctuary environment.

• We focused on refining our vision for worship as a ministry, making careful decisions on songs, format, etc., keeping in line with

our larger vision for Lighthouse. our larger vision for Lighthouse.

• An average of 150 middle and high school students attend Student Ministries programs per week:

- 40 Rooted (Middle School)

- 63 One Accord (High School)

- 40 Bible Quizzers

- 18 Trek & Journey (Awana)

- 25 Girl Time.

• Nine middle school students and two adults went on the Mountain2Mission trip.

• Fifteen high school students and five adults went on the short-term mission trip to the Dominican Republic.

• Eighteen middle school students and four adults participated in camps for middle schoolers.

• Nineteen high school students and four adults participated in camps for high schoolers.

• Our Bible Quizzing group, the largest in the district, has experienced a great year of Bible memorization - Hebrews, 1 & 2 Peter.

At our November meet, LCC quizzers broke new records by having two of our teams place 1st and 2nd for the meet! The competition

• 2019 saw an increase in the number of people taking advantage of the Care Ministries of Lighthouse – both those from our

Lighthouse family and those from the wider community. Over 450 individuals have taken part in the various Care Ministries

of the congregation, with many new folks being raised into leadership roles.

• Our pastoral staff continues to give wonderful care and counseling to individuals, couples, and families who are facing

an array of struggles and needs. Our pastors have met in hundreds of counseling sessions with people throughout the year.

• Our Hope for Mental Health ministry has brought new hope and connection to many and has begun to have an impact on our

wider community as well. wider community as well.

• The 2019 Step by Step Christmas Celebration saw an amazing 1,001 guests join us. Thanks to all of our outstanding Lighthouse

volunteers who stepped up to bless our guests with the love of Jesus.

• The LCC Deaf Community continues to minister at Lighthouse and beyond. Several of our leaders attended a national conference

that encouraged and inspired them. They hosted the annual Deaf Community BBQ at Bradley Lake, bringing together deaf

churches and deaf communities throughout the Puget Sound area.

• The Prayer Ministry teams of Lighthouse have faithfully continued to lift our congregation before God throughout the year.

the “behind the scenes” supports that have a profound impact on Lighthouse week in and week out.

• Through our Benevolence Ministry, we have supported people with nearly $22,186 in assistance grants.

• Our focus this year was to create a Discipleship Team to support women who want to grow and live like Jesus. We added two new

ministries: Abiding Together and S.A.L.T Sisters. Both groups added elements of connection, reading and understanding scripture,

prayer and learning how to be a fully invested disciple of Jesus.

• Women’s Bible studies provided nine daytime studies and six evening education classes. We focused on studies that would help women

grow in their knowledge of scripture and how to abide in Jesus. We had 270 ladies attend throughout the year. We also added three

new Bible study teachers.

• Zumba and Pilates continue to be a strong outreach for the community. This year we added four new instructors to our existing• Zumba and Pilates continue to be a strong outreach for the community. This year we added four new instructors to our existing

team. In 2019, we reached about 90 women at our classes offered three times a week.

• Women to Women Shepherding is going strong, praying for women at the end of each service. We currently have 15 ladies on

the team.

• Our mentoring program now has a solid team of five mentors who are in relationship with several ladies each week.

• Our MOPS program continues to thrive with three groups. We have 92 women participating across three groups. We are excited to

continue the mission of loving on moms in our community.

how much they are loved and cherished by God and that He can make anything beautiful when we give Him control.

• In 2019, our service ministry partnered with “Sew Powerful” to sew personal purses to help girls in Zambia to stay in school all month long.

PRAYER FOCUS for 2020

Nothing is more important for Lighthouse than to have God’s hand on our church. We must not depend on ourselves

but on God. As we depend on God, He hears our prayers and will keep us through all seasons. As a church family, let’s

have a common Prayer Focus as we go through 2020.

• Passion and Unity as We Grow in Our Pursuit of More and Better Disciples in 2020

The LCC leadership Team is looking forward to spending 2020 refocusing our church around our mission statement

aimed at making more and better disciples. This fall, we will be launching into a season where we reset the foundations

that is come in 2020. Pray for God to prepare our hearts to realign every aspect of LCC in unity around the Great

Commission.

We are deeply blessed by every layer of leadership and staff that the Lord has knit together to make up our team at LCC.

These men and women are devoted to loving God and serving in such a way that would point you to Jesus.
