2019 TCDC FACULTYLor na S. McClusky is a Senior par tner in the law f i rm of Massey, McClusky, McClusky & Fuchs in Memphis engaging exclusively in cr iminal practice. She is a Fellow of the Memphis Bar Association, a l i fe member of TACDL and NACDL, Past President of TACDL, a Fellow of the Amer ican College of Tr ial Law yers and co-chair s the Tr ial and Appellate Advocacy Committee and is on the Editor ial Board of The Journal. She has taught tr ial ski l ls at CLE's throughout the United States and in Guam.

Lar r y Dr ol sum is a cr iminal defense attorney in Franklin, TN and an active member of TACDL. Lar r y has been practicing law in Tennessee for the past 43 years. Lar r y has been an Assistant Distr ict Attorney in Wil l iamson County from 1978 unti l 1984; a Public Defender from 1991- 2008 ; a graduate of the NACDL Tr ial College 1995; a Master Instr uctor at the TACDL Tr ial College since 2002-to present. His area of interest is cr iminal defense only.

Rich McGee is a pr ivate practi tioner in Nashvi l le and ser ved as a public defender for Metro/Davidson County. Rich is a Past President of TACDL. He was a Fellow w ith the Nashvi l le Bar Foundation, r eceived the Assistance of Counsel award from the Nashvi l le Bar in 1993, and was an Instr uctor at the National Insti tute for Tr ial Advocacy Regional and National programs from 1988-2001.

Lisa Naylor has extensive cr iminal tr ial exper ience as a prosecutor , an appellate prosecutor , and as a cr iminal defense attorney. She has been an active TACDL member since opening her ow n practice in 2008. She has enjoyed mentor ing less exper ienced attorneys throughout her career including as a Team Leader in Cr iminal Cour t whi le at the Distr ict Attorney?s Off ice in Nashvi l le, as a faculty member for the Tennessee Cr iminal Defense College, and as a fr equent host at the Nashvi l le Round Table. Her practice includes defense of violent cr imes, drug cr imes, D.U.I.s and white col lar cr imes.

Randal l Reagan has been helping people from across Tennessee in cr iminal defense since he was f i r st l icensed to practice law in Tennessee in 1978. His broad and var ied exper ience in the f ield of cr iminal defense provides a sol id foundation for his aggressive and zealous r epresentation of his cl ients.. He studied law and earned his Jur is Doctorate degree in 1977 from the Univer si ty of Tennessee College of Law , in Knoxvi l le. He has successful ly r epresented hundreds of cl ients for over 38 years. His r eputation among the legal community is exceptional, including his 2015 award as a Super Law yer. He is an active par ticipant in industr y peer groups, including membership in national, state and local Bar Associations and ser ving as President of the Tennessee Association of Cr iminal Defense Law yers (2006-2007).

Ray Fr aley practices in Fayettevi l le, TN, concentrating his practice in cr iminal defense work.

Claibor ne Fer guson handles high-pressure tr ials in Memphis and the sur rounding area w ith exceptional r esults. He is the senior l i t igation attorney of a four -attorney practice r epresenting people in Mississippi , Tennessee and Arkansas. He is a Cer ti f ied Cr iminal Tr ial Special ist by the National Board of Tr ial Advocacy. He is the ow ner of Blackwatch Investigation and Mitigation where he is in charge of mitigation for capi tal cases. Mr. Ferguson believes that tr ial work is as much an Ar t as a Science. Law School taught the science of law , but only intense tr ial work can forge the understanding of the Ar t of Advocacy.

Kevin McGee is a cr iminal defense law yer in Nashvi l le, Tennessee, practicing in both state and federal cour t. After years of practicing the chapter cross examination method of Pozner and Dodd as well as Ter r y MacCar thy's "Look Good" cross examination method, Kevin has been studying and practicing the "Dynamic" cross examination method for the last few years. He has been tr ained in this method by i ts creator and author , Jim McComas. Kevin has lectured on cross examination at Vanderbi l t Law School, the Nashvi l le School of Law , and has speci f ical ly taught Dynamic cross in tr ial col leges in San Francisco and Guam.

Joe McClusky is a cr iminal defense attorney in Memphis and is an active member of TACDL.

Laur en Massey Fuchs is a l i fe long Memphian and a par tner w ith The Law Off ice of Massey McClusky, McClusky & Fuchs. She graduated from Ceci l C. Humphr ies School of Law in 2009. Ms. Fuchs practices exclusively in the area of cr iminal defense. She and her fel low f i rm members believe in the impor tance of having the hear t for the f ight. Ms. Fuchs is a staunch advocate and a zealous defender for her cl ients.

Ar t Hor ne is an attorney in Memphis, TN. Ar thur 's practice is var ied, i .e., w i th a concentration of per sonal injur y, w rongful death, premises l iabi l i ty, business l i t igation, Federal and State cr iminal defense and class action.

About this seminar:

The Tr ial College has quickly become one of TACDL?s highest r ated seminars. This f ive day hands-on intensive tr aining consists of general lectures, faculty demonstrations and small

group exercises. Each student w i l l be assigned to a group of 10-12 students w ith comparable exper ience. Each group w i l l have two instr uctor s & each student w i l l be on their feet

practicing several times each day on voir dir e, opening statements, cross-examinations and f inal argument. Registr ants w i l l r eceive course mater ials pr ior to the star t date and are

expected to careful ly r ead the mater ials before ar r ival. Par ticipants should plan to attend al l f ive days of tr aining.

- Includes: specialized training, CLE reporting, all materials for 26.50 general hours plus 3.5 dual hours, for a total of 30.00 CLE credits, overnight lodging and meals, and access to the master instructors.

- Attendees will have private rooms at the conference center. Lodging and meals are included in the registration fee. Parking is free.
