These events are free and open ONLY to teens in grades 6-12 unless otherwise noted.

Summer is a great time to explore your local library. We have programs, books, computers, games, activities and more just for you. Meet your friends to hang out in the Teen Area where there is always something going on!

Research shows that teens who participate in library Summer Reading Programs read more regularly and maintain or improve reading skills.

Join the Teen Summer Reading Program and earn points for time you spend reading or for completing fun activities on Beanstack. For every 100 points you earn, you win cool prizes including a ticket to the a Gwinnett Stripers game, a free game at Stars and Strikes, a Ranger meal from Texas Roadhouse, a glow in the dark lollipop, a free book, and chances to win a drone, a movie pack from AMC theaters, two tickets to Medieval Times, or a $250 Dave & Buster’s game card. The more you do, the more you can win! When you sign up you also receive a free membership to the Hudgens Center for Art & Learning.

Prizes are available while supplies last. Large groups, including camps or classes, cannot be accommodated at library programs and events.
