Anyone who parƟcipated in Project Fair can display their project and awards during the Columbiana County Fair. You will need to drop off your project at the Junior Fair Building on Saturday, July 27 between 9– 5 or Sunday, July 28 between 9‐3. Please be sure your NAME is on all items you are displaying including awards. We will have a booth display in the Junior Fair Building for you to display your projects. You can pick up your project displays and awards on Sunday, August 4 from 6:00—8:00 p.m. Projects that are leŌ on Sunday, will be taken to the OSU Extension office and you will be able to pick up from the office. All projects need to be picked up by the end of August. 4-H PROGRAM ADVISORY COMMITTEE—SILENT AUCTION BASKET FUNDRAISER Each year the 4-H Program Advisory Committee works to have the Silent Auction during the week of fair. This is one of their fundraisers that they have throughout the year to help support the 4-H Program in Columbiana County. All funds raised stay in Columbiana County to be used to help support various 4-H programs throughout the year. 4-H Clubs are putting together Silent Auction baskets that fair goers will be able to bid on throughout the week of fair in the Junior Fair building. Registration is complete for Project Fair. POST CARDS HAVE BEEN MAILED OUT TO THE HOMES OF THE YOUTH WHO REGISTERED FOR PROJECT FAIR WITH THEIR JUDGING TIMES.

If you did not receive your card, please call the OSU Extension office.

Show your Project during the Columbiana County Fair. Anyone who par cipated in Project

JUNIOR FAIR REMINDERS

SKILLATHON

ALL JUNIOR FAIR EXHIBITORS (4-H, FFA, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, etc) that are interested in the Outstanding Project

Award will need to participate in Skillathon. Outstanding Project Award is an awarded devoted to the Junior Fair exhibitor

who demonstrates all-around excellence in project development. Participation is recommended but optional. Three scores fac-

tor in equally to determine the award:

1. Class Placement 2. Showmanship 3. Skillathon

2019– NO Cash will be given out as premium money all premium money will be given as a check.  Contact

7/18/2019 4:00 p.m. Alpaca Clinic, Alpaca Spring Valley Farm Minerva this is a clinic for those currently taking the Alpaca project or anyone who is thinking of taking the project in the future. We encourage you to come out and attend this clinic. No animals are needed to come out to this clinic.

September 18, 2019 at 5:30 p.m.

Come and meet with other 4-H Advisors and the 4-H Educator to discuss “Wrapping Up the Year and How to Plan for a Perfect 4-H Year”.

This will be a fun time for us to get together to discuss ideas for the next 4-H Year to “Make the Best Better” in an informal setting. We will be asking for registration for this round table so we can plan accordingly.
