LADIES’ CUPS AND COMPETITIONSPlayers on handicaps above 40.4 are eligible to play in all these competitions except LGU Medal, McGruer Cup and Gaisford Cup but must play on an Index of 40.4. Gaisford Cup: Open – match play.Nancy McCormick Foursomes: Choose own partners. Half
combined handicap – 36 holes over two rounds of 18 holes. Galpin Cup: Open – the best nett medal of 2 monthly medals

NOTICE TO MEMBERSDO’S AND DON’TS FROM THE
COMMITTEESlow Play: There is no excuse for slow play and the com-mittee recognises the lowest handicap player as the captain of the team of his/her four to assist the speed of play.Trundlers: must not be taken on the tees or greens or left unattended in the line of play.Litter: Please use the boxes at each tee for rubbish. The course belongs to you so please treat it with respect.President & Captain’s Privilege: The president and captain shall have the right to enter the field whenever they desire.The Clubhouse: This building is an asset to our club. Members are asked to do their share in keeping it tidy whenever they leave the premises.Saturday Competitions: Unless otherwise advised, mem-bers will make up their own fours and are able to tee off from 11am.Players arriving after 1pm are not eligible for the day’s comp-etition unless prior arrangements have been made with the starter. Cards must be handed in no later than 5.30pm.Morning rounds may be played but these players must be through 9 holes before 11am and must notify the club captain beforehand.Cards: The player keeps his opponent’s card and enters the score after each hole. At the end of the round, the player is responsible to see that their card is filled in correctly, signed by the scorer and handed in to the club captain for the day’s results. Incorrect cards will not be accepted and the club captain has the discretion to disqualify any person who signs an incorrect score card.
