T H E S H I PThe charming MPS Salvinia is your floating hotel. This ship was chosen to be your home away from home. It is smaller than some river cruise vessels, which allows it to

access rivers, waterways and locks that larger ships cannot access, making your itinerary one-of-a-kind. Your floating hotel

will take you through seven provinces and along rivers, canals, and seas. See the wide variety of waterways found in the

Netherlands.

The MPS Salvinia bridge is open to the public. Converse with the captain and watch the river pass by. The rest of the

public areas are divided among the ship’s three decks. The Observation Deck offers a lounge that opens onto the Sun

Deck. The restaurant and lobby are on the Promenade Deck. The whirlpool and sauna can be found on the Main Deck.

The decks are connected by an elevator and stairs. Between the four decks, the welcoming staff, complimentary WiFi,

and newly renovated ship, you’re sure to enjoy the comforts of your floating hotel. There is plenty of space to unwind and

you’ll enjoy uninterrupted views in all the public areas and cabins. Relax in style and comfort.

Passenger cabins are located on the Main and Promenade Decks. All double cabins are furnished with two single beds,

one of which converts to a sofa during the day. Rooms are also equipped with private facilities, a safe, flat-screen TV, and

individually controlled air-conditioning. Promenade Deck cabin windows are larger than those on the Main Deck. The rooms

are comparable in size. All windows open to let fresh air into the cabins.

Throughout the cruise you will eat the traditional Dutch menu. Early morning risers can enjoy freshly brewed coffee in the

lounge before breakfast. Breakfast and lunch are buffet-style meals. Choose from fresh breads, local cheeses, eggs and

meats. Delicious three-course meals are served at dinner. Be prepared for the potato, a Dutch staple! Each day a new

specialty will be served. Try croquettes, herring and other wonderful delicacies. Seating at meals is not pre-assigned—use

this time to move around and make new friends.

The identity of the carrier, which may include the carrier’s code-share partner, will be assigned and disclosed in your final documents. Tickets are issued 45 days prior to departure. All current airlines taxes, security fees and fuel surcharges are included. Note that these items cannot be guaranteed until tickets are issued.

Secure flight information. The requirement to collect date of birth, gender, and full name are federally mandated by the Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) Secure Flight Program. While disclosure of this information is voluntary, if it is not provided, participants may be denied boarding. For TSA’s policy and more information, visit http://www.tsa.gov and search on Secure Flight. Witte Travel & Tours (Witte) takes all reasonable steps to safeguard the privacy of all information collected from its clients.

Frequent flyer points are not guaranteed in connection with group airfares. Some airlines may limit group airfare credits to 25% to 50% of the frequent flyer points that apply to individuals while others do not offer any credits for group airfares.

Hazardous Materials. Federal law forbids the carriage of hazardous materials aboard aircraft in your luggage or on your person. A violation can result in five years’ imprisonment and penalties of $250,000 or more (49 U.S.C. 5124). For more information, examples and special exceptions, visit: http://www.tsa.gov/traveler-information/prohibited-items.

First-class hotels on the optional extensions. Supplements for single occupancy are $250 on the cruise, $450 on the London Extension, and $325 on the Northern Germany Extension. If you register alone but want a roommate, we will do our best to assign one. If a single room must be assigned to any group member, even at the last minute or while on tour, we will need to charge the single supplement. Rooming changes requested by the participant 45 or fewer days prior to departure may result in additional charges.

Tour Personnel. A cruise coordinator, tour manager, and the ship’s crew during the cruise. Separate tour managers/drivers on the London Extension and the Northern Germany Extension.

Sightseeing and admission fees in accordance with the itinerary.

Tipping and taxes are included for all services, including tipping for the ship’s crew, tour managers and motorcoach drivers.

You may also carry a purse, a camera and one piece of hand luggage with a maximum size of 45 linear inches and weight of 15 lbs. These size and weight restrictions conform to most airlines’ requirements. Hand luggage does not fit in the overhead bins on the motorcoach. There may be room for it in the storage compartment under the coach or by an empty seat on board. If not, it will need to be placed on the floor in front of your feet. Porterage of luggage is not provided. Participants will be responsible for carrying their own luggage throughout the tour. If you are physically unable to carry your luggage, ask your tour personnel to arrange for assistance.

Insecticide Disclosure. Some countries require that aircraft be treated with insecticides

prior to flight or while occupied. For a list of the countries with insecticide requirements, go to http://airconsumer.dot.gov/spray.htm.

Optional travel protection. Witte recommends that you purchase a travel protection plan. For your convenience, Witte Travel offers a travel protection plan designed by Travelex Insurance Services. This travel protection can be purchased at any time prior to making the final payment for your tour. The pre-existing medical conditions exclusion will be waived if you purchase the protection plan within 15 days of the initial trip deposit, provided you are medically fit to travel at the time of purchase and full trip cost is insured. The plan cost for the travel protection plan that applies to your tour will be noted in your brochure and on the registration form. It may be necessary to increase the trip cost insured on the travel protection plan if you purchase additional services and/or upgrade any arrangements.
