Quick Division Synopsis
Lil Sluggers(Ages – 4) – This new division was created for our youngest players run by DLL coaches on
Saturdays in a 60 minutes session teaching baseball fundamentals using fun games and drills. Each
player will receive a jersey and hat and will participate in our Opening Day fun and T-ball Sunday
celebration.
T-Ball (Ages 5-6) – The t-ball division is the player’s introduction to the baseball practice and game
experience. The season begins hitting from the tee and progresses into coach pitch. Each team bats
every player every inning with the last player hitting a home run. The season ends with T-ball Sunday
with the teams playing on the Majors field; player’s names are announced with a lot of fun and games in
between.
C-Division (Ages 6-8) – The C division is an introductory division with a focus on teaching every player
the baseball fundamentals, but also to give every player a chance to experience every position and learn
the nuances of the game. It’s about understanding how each player is an important part of team. Scores
and standings are kept, but the primary focus is to teach the game and for players to have fun. The
season begins with coach pitch and progresses into player pitch. Players are evaluated and drafted by
team managers.
B Division (Ages 8-11) – The B division is a little more competitive with player pitch and players are
allowed to steal with some limitations. Players are evaluated and drafted by team managers.
Majors Division (Ages 10-12) – The Majors division is the highest level of Little League play. Returning
Majors players do not need to be evaluated as they will remain on the same team. New players are
evaluated and drafted by team managers. All 12-year olds must be drafted. Players not drafted are
automatically entered into the B division player pool.
