EVA-LAST® COMPANY PROFILE
WHY BAMBOO?WHY BAMBOO?WHY BAMBOO?
SUSTAINABLEBamboo is a type of grass that
grows and regenerates extremely
quickly, with most species
reaching adulthood within 3 – 5
years. This amazing plant is one
of the most environmentally
friendly resources on the planet
and requires no pesticides or
chemical fertilizers to grow.
Bamboo keeps our soil
stronger, our air cleaner and our
environment healthier.
Bamboo is known for its
incredible cooling effect and
its ability to deflect heat more
effectively than wood. All natural
fibres have a built-in thermostat,
and Mother Nature has turned
bamboo’s way, way down. This
means your deck will be cooler
in hot weather and a bit warmer
in the cold, just another great
benefit of using bamboo over
wood in composite decking.
Bamboo is a super clean and
safe material and the perfect
additive for composite decking.
Bamboo naturally repels odor
and is hypoallergenic when
compared to timber. Bamboo as
a fibre is actually certified by
most food agencies as safe to
eat. So your customers can rest
assured that InfinityTM decking
will be the cleanest, safest
surface for them and their
families.
Bamboo must be one of the
most underrated materials on
the planet when it comes to
strength. It has a greater tensile
strength (resistance to being
pulled apart) than steel, and can
withstand compression better
than concrete. These properties
make for an ultra strong end
product and allow Eva-Last® to
offer an industry leading
guarantee on InfinityTM decking.
COOLSTRONG SAFE
WASTE PLASTIC IS KILLING OUR PLANET
A PLASTIC EPIDEMICOur world faces one of its greatest threats from our short-sighted consumption of single use plastics. Plastic is now the most common form of marine debris. Plastic enters the oceans from a number of different land and ocean-based sources and imperils all aspects of marine life. Once in the water plastic never fully biodegrades.
Reduce, reuse and recycleEva-Last® promotes eco-conscious practices in all areas of business and life. Be responsible: reduce, reuse, recycle.
IN 2018 EVA-LAST® PRODUCEDENOUGH COMPOSITE PRODUCTS TO SAVE THE EQUIVALENT OF 70 MILLION PLASTIC BOTTLESRECYCLING ONE TON OF HDPE RESULTS IN CARBON DIOXIDE SAVING OF APPROXIMATELY 0.73 TONS - THE SAME AS TRAVELLING 4 000km IN A CAR.
EVA-LAST® RECYCLED THE EQUIVALENT OF TWO THOUSAND TONS OF PLASTIC IN 2018
HOW IT’S MADE
Eva-Last® starts with a unique combination of bamboo fibre and recycled polyethylene pellets to create the ideal mixture.
Intense heat and pressure are applied to form a large, continuous block of composite material.
Each colour is artistically blended as the composite is molded into its final shape.
The dual-surfaced board is then embossed with two distinct grain patterns.
In the final stage, the co-extruded composite is cooled and then cut to length.

The innovation of co-extrusion technology resulted in the development of our Infinity™ range.
This advancement allowed for the cellulose-polymer composite to be wrapped in a protective
cap, further improving the longevity of the product. The Eva-Last®’s engineered polymer coat
is equipped with additives that result in an extremely robust outer layer. This layer protects the
products from weathering and biodegraddation, even within particularly harsh conditions.

The Origins™ product from Eva-Last® incorporates our co-extrusion process but utilises a lower
specification outer layer. Origins™ products offer a more cost effective alternative to Infinity™. The
variation in technology also results in a slightly different pallet of colours.
Eva-tech™ is our first generation material technology. The engineered cellulose-polymer composite
consists primarily of bamboo and high-density polyethylene. Additives are incorporated, enhancing
the materials durability and colour-fastness of the material. The Eva-tech™ products are weather
resistant and available in several natural colours.
ECLIPSE is the most recent advancement of Eva-Last®’s first generation Eva-tech™ decking
material - making it an improved version of Eva-tech™. With ECLIPSE the classic Eva-tech™ board
receives a second layer of unique Eva-tech™ material, charged with a high concentration of UV
stabilisers and colourants. This capping layer provides additional protection for the board and
creates a range of detailed colours. The incorporation of bamboo fibres in the outer layer gives a
timber texture to the board and further enhances the colour aesthetic.
The APEX™ core material technology is a foamed polymer, mineral and cellulose composite. APEX™
products are co-extruded with an engineered ASA cap. The resultant combination is a durable and
lightweight board with advanced workability and striking finishes.

the profile end is exposed, as is often required. Direct fastening through the
material core also allows flexibility in application.
The balusters are versatile decorative features and often incorporated as ceiling,
screen, railing and pergola systems. Both profiles are available in Eva-tech and
Infinity finishes, ensuring the application will always compliment your selected
aesthetic.

Base
TITAN pedestals are height-adjustable support systems that can allow for slope corrections. There are a variety of applications for
TITAN pedestals including the support of decking, paving blocks, water features, drainage gratings, roofing and flooring. The wide
base design prevents damage to waterproof membranes placed below the support system.

The PVC batten support system offers a simple and effective
substructure solution for easy installation. The batten is placed
atop a rubber support pad (to allow for drainage) and then nailed
into the existing structure. Eva-Last® composite decking profiles
are subsequently installed atop this. This can be utilised as either
a flooring or cladding application. It is advisable to use the Titan
support pedestals for use atop waterproofing membranes and
not the composite batten system.

It is prudent to utilise a substructure system that matches the lifespan of your deck. When selecting timber be sure to consider the
intended application and the local building codes. Eva-Last® offers several timber solutions based on the requirements of the deck.

Fire reaction ratingTIER™ flooring has the highest rating possible in reaction to fire in its class. If required, comprehensive fire reaction data is available for your fire engineer. This benefit to you is important.

Soft foam IXPE underlayIf your TIER™ flooring has a preapplied foam underlay, you will get the additional benefits of sound insulation (less clicking; sounds wonderful to walk on), thermal insulation (helps in cold weather and is still suitable for underfloor heating), and a softer feeling (feels great, for your feet).
Rigid CarbideCore™ centreThe primary layer of a TIER™ flooring board is an extruded composite of powdered minerals and vinyl, resulting in a stable, rigid core. The benefit to you is that TIER™ flooring has a mixture of the characteristics of a ceramic tile and a vinyl floor.
Print layer
Engineered polymer wear layer
A diverse range of finishes are available including assorted wood, concrete, marble, and abstract prints.
The TIER™ flooring wear layer is scratch-resistant, slip-resistant and UV-resistant. Embossed surfaces provide a more realistic texture and feeling.
The new size of the board allows for a higher quantity of joins per square meter offering more resistance to expansion and contractions during extreme climate changes without affecting the film or ware layer. This leads to a more dimensionally-stable floor that will last for decades. Installation is also faster and easier.
Fabulous, functional , forever.
TIER™ INDOOR FLOORING
The 4-sided micro bevel new click lock system is a robust mechanical locking system that offers a lot more benefits to the flooring boards. A cavity inside the improved click lock system allows for movement within the click system when put under pressure. The clip is applied to both the long and short sides of the floorboards allowing for an angle-angle installation.
