This year, Goldsboro’s stunning, landmark performing arts venue, the Paramount Theatre, entered its second decade of service and our 2019-2020 Performing Arts Series may be our best yet!

We listened to you, and the diversity of performers we have lined up is what you’ve been asking for. Whether it’s internationally acclaimed bluegrass duo, Dailey & Vincent, award-winning reggae fusion artists, Sons of Mystro, or rising stars of cross-over Americana, NC’s own Violet Bell, we have music for every taste.

For the dance aficionado, we present Philadelphia’s provocative, contemporary ballet company, Ballet-X, then round out our selections with Off-Broadway’s award-winning Vital Theatre Company, and their original show for young audiences, Angelina Ballerina, The Musical.

Philadelphia’s premier contemporary ballet company, BalletX unites distinguished choreographers with an outstanding company of world-class dancers to forge new works of athleticism, emotion, and grace.

Saturday, January 25, 2020 7:30 p.m.

Violet Bell weaves original Americana from folk, soul, and bluegrass music. Based out of Chapel Hill NC, Lizzy Ross and Omar Ruiz-Lopez draw inspiration from the natural world, ancient mythology and the Piedmont’s green hills. The duo honed their strong onstage chemistry playing hundreds of shows from Montreal to Miami since forming in 2016.

South Florida brothers Sons of Mystro use their violins to interpret reggae classics, American pop songs and their own creations accompanied by beats, and sometimes a DJ & guitarist. They are winners of the Emerging Artist Under 21Years Old award at IRAWMA (International Reggae and World Music Awards). Mentored by Black Violin, these artists’ stars are on the rise.
