How Travel works

The electrical configuration has three memory save positions which are user programmable. M1, M2 and home. Up and down arrows can be used to find the user’s optimal height before saving to memory. The up and down arrows can also be used to freely raise and lower the worktop at any time.

The system also allows for a maximum height and minimum height to be set to ensure that the worktop does not exceed the height of the screens or meet with furnishings under the desk. These heights can be set by the user themselves, maintenance personnel or by the Workspace installation team.

The Collision Mitigation System (CMS) ensures the longevity of the workstation is preserved through its “detact and retreat” programming. When a collision occurs between the desk and an obstacle the CMS detects the collision, stops the desk, and reverses 50mm. This helps to prevent and/or reduce the likelyhood of damage occuring to the system or to any surrounding obstacles.

With a load capacity of 150kg (even weight distribution) per top for three leg systems and 120kg (even weight distribution) per top for two leg systems, Travel has ample lifting power. At full load the worktops can be raised or lowered at 30mm per second.

Travel can also be ordered with a manual winder adjustment. The manual system has a height range of 705-1185 and moves across this distance at a speed of 12mm per crank revolution.

Clean lines, simple interfaces and intelligent collision detection mean that it is as practical as it is stylish. Everything has been considered; cables are easily managed with cable trays or baskets and different screen options can be specified with confidence.
