Affiliation and Qualifiers
This show is affiliated to and has qualifiers for the following
TSR SHOWING FINALS
This show is a qualifier for the 2018 TSR Showing Finals. Qualify and enter ANY of the Regional Finals Central, East Anglia, North West, North
East, South East, South, Wales & South West or Scottish. You Do Not have to be a TSR member to qualify or enter a final. The Rider/Handler
qualifies and can enter any horse/pony in any number of Finals!
TSR Riders Finals - 1st & 2nd riders qualify and will receive a qualification card in the ring.
TSR In Hand Finals - The two highest placed Handlers with a TSR In Hand Card will qualify in any In Hand class. Handlers MUST have their cards
signed in the ring by the judge/steward, cards are available FREE from the TSR website. Full details at http://www.theshowingregister.co.uk/
TSR Medal Awards - TSR members can collect qualification cards & signatures and redeem for a TSR Medal see TSR website for details.
BSHA Grass Roots Championships - With a TSR qualification card you can also enter the BSHA Grass Roots Champs on the 10th Sept at

EQUIFEST
This Show is a qualifier for Equifest 8th
to 12th
August 2018 to be held at East of England Showground, Peterborough. The 2 highest placed
exhibits not already qualified will qualify for the relevant final. Classes 27-30, 45-46,49,50,52-55,64-66 (HOYS) are not qualifiers for Equifest.

The Pony of the Year Show will be held in September 2018. All those who qualify, to enter must be a current member of the N.C.P.A. and for

No Foals, Spurs, Galloping, Or Wearing Of Face/Body Jewellery Permitted. Minimum Age of Handler - In hand classes - 9yrs, Ridden
competitors must be over I6yrs, Competitors cannot enter the Ring once the Command of Trot has been given. The SSAD Olympia Area
Qualifiers are open to both Members & Non Members of the SSAD. Please note all competitors should acquaint themselves with the rules of

qualify for the Summer Championship Show in Sep 2018 held at Onley Grounds Rugby . All classes are qualifiers
EQUESTRIAN LIFE CHAMPIONSHIPS The combination of Horse/Pony/ Rider & Handler placed 1st to 3rd in all relevant classes MUST have
their Card SIGNED IN THE RING BY THE JUDGE to qualify. Results will be checked at random and cards must be readable and accompany the

To qualify for the 2018 National Supreme Showing Championship Show at Equifest, Peterborough the first, second and third place horse/pony
in the following classes …… will each qualify. To enter the National Supreme Showing Championship Show the rider/handler and horse/pony
must register with 15+ Horse & Pony Events within 14 days of the qualifying show date. Qualification cards (to be signed by show officials at

SWPA - This show is a qualifier for the South West Pony Association Championships to be held on 30th Aug - 2nd Sep 2018 at The David
Broome Event Centre, Crick, Gwent.To qualify for the Championships: 1. Enter one of the qualifying classes. 2. Be one of the two highest
placed exhibits not already qualified within the first four and receive a qualification card signed in the ring. 3. Complete the entry form on the
qualification card. 4. Return the card to together with any registration fees due within 14 days of this show. Please Note: Registration fee for
2018 is £30 to include all members of the family and equines owned by the family.

TSR TRAINING CLASSES
&
TSR/HOYS MASTER CLASS TALENT SPOTTING
Classes are open to everyone and the judge/trainer will give feed back to the exhibitor during the class. Each class
will be run on the following format: Enter the ring and go round as a class, line up in any order. One Trainer/judge
will watch and give feed back on individual shows whilst the second trainer/judge will cover presentation, in hand
technique etc.
WHP/WH riders will enter one at a time to jump a set of fences and then proceed to do a show conformation with
the second judge. Classes may be split or amalgamated depending on entries. Classes will not be placed it is non
competitive but everyone will receive a rosette.

Class 1 M&M pony – Any breed registered or un registered. Rider Any age to be suitably mounted
Class 2 Ridden Pony – Any type not exc 153cms, rider any age but suitably mounted
Class 3 Ridden Horse – Exc 148cms, any type, rider any age to be suitably mounted.
The two highest placed horses of each type Hack, Cob & Riding Horse not already qualified will
qualify for the Grass Roots Championship to be held at the BSHA Championship Show on 12th
September.
Class 4 Lead Rein Pony – Any type, rider not to exc 10 years on day of show to be suitably mounted.
Lead Reins are Not eligible for talent spotting
Class 5 WHP & M&M WHP & Working Horse – Any breed or type, any height, rider any age to be suitably
mounted . Jumps will be set in three heights starting with 55cm, followed by 75cms and 90cms, you
can enter and choose which height you wish to jump. You can only jump one height section per £12
entry. If you wish to jump two height sections then you would need to pay for 2 entries.

The Showing Register will be talent spotting from the Training classes for the TSR Master Class Training Pathway. You
could find your path to the Showing Master Class at HOYS.
If you are an Amateur (as per TSR definition) and have not qualified or competed at Horse of the Year Show
in 2015,2016,2017 (inc 2018) then you are eligible for the pathway.
You could be spotted for the following sections
Rider 8 - 14 years / Rider 15 - 25 years / Rider 26 - 40 yrs / Rider 40 years & over (Age as of the 1st January in current year)
TSR will notify riders if they have been selected for the Pathway in the ring

EQUITATION RIDER Format of the class - Very friendly class with feedback from the judge. To be judged on the riders ability and the performance &
presentation of the horse/pony, conformation will not be taken into account. Class will do a group go round and then line up to
do a freestyle show.
Class 7 Equitation Intro Rider (walk & trot only), mare or gelding 4 years & over any type/height, rider any age to be suitably
mounted & not to have won 3 firsts at any show in a ridden class. Lead reins eligible. To encourage riders new to showing or
wishing to gain experience & confidence. 1st & 2nd compete for Ridden Championship after class 20 Ring 5.
Class 8 Equitation Open Rider (walk, trot, canter) stallion, mare or gelding 4 years & over any type/height, rider any age to be
suitably mounted. 1st & 2nd compete for Ridden Championship after class 20 Ring 5.
45 PLUS RIDER NEW for 2018 Class 8A 45 plus Rider - Riders to be 45 years & over at time of entry. Stallion, mare or gelding 4 years & over any
age/type/height, riders to be suitably mounted. Format of the class - Riders to enter ring individually and perform a
freestyle show not to exceed 3mins to include a Halt, Trot circle, canter circle, walk on long rein. Circles can be on any
rein, canter extension is not required. Riders will be marked out of 70as follows 10 marks Content & Showmanship, 40
marks for Way of Going, 20 marks for presentation.
RIDDEN PONIES Classes 9 - 13 will be split if 6 or more entries
Class 9 Tiny Tots Lead Rein Pony Any Type Plaited or M&M, mare or gelding 4 years old and over, not exc 128cms. Riders not
to have attained their 6th birthday before 1st January in the current year to be suitably mounted & RIDERS MUST NOT
HAVE QUALIFIED/RIDDEN AT RIHS or HOYS in a Lead Rein Class. To be led by an attendant and shown in a Snaffle
Bridle, the lead rein to be attached to the noseband only. TSR qualifier
Class 10 Walk & Trot First Ridden Any type Plaited or M&M, mare or gelding 4 years old and over, not exc 128cms. This class is
a starter class to help children get going & should be taken in this spirit of encouragement. Riders to be just off the lead
rein. Riders not to have attained their 11th birthday before 1st January in the current year to be suitably mounted &
RIDERS MUST NOT HAVE QUALIFIED/RIDDEN AT RIHS or HOYS in a First Ridden Class. To be shown in any suitable
bridle. TSR qualifier
. FORMAT for Class 10 - Riders will walk round then either trot one at a time or line up and be split into a small group for trot at
the discretion of the judge.. They will be lined up with their backs to the next door ring and do their own show in front of
the line in walk & trot ONLY.
Class 11 Tiny Tots First Ridden Any type Plaited or M&M, mare or gelding 4 years old and over, not exc 128cms. Riders not to
have attained their 9th birthday before 1st January in the current year to be suitably mounted & RIDERS MUST NOT
HAVE QUALIFIED FOR RIHS or HOYS in a First Ridden Class. To be shown in any suitable bridle. TSR qualifier
FORMAT for Class 11 - Riders will walk round then either trot either one at a time or line up and be split into a small group for
trot at the discretion of the judge. They will then be lined up with their backs to the next door ring, attendants can come
into the ring once the class is lined up. Riders will do their own show in front of the line, canter is optional.
Tiny Tots Championship 1st & 2nd Prize winners from classes 9 to 11 compete. Champ goes forward to Supreme
Class 12 Lead Rein Pony Any Type mare or gelding 4 years old and over, not exc 122cms. Riders not to have attained their 9th
birthday before 1st January in the current year to be suitably mounted. To be led by an attendant and shown in a
Snaffle Bridle, the lead rein to be attached to the noseband only. Equifest Davey’s Livestock SP LR & Equifest SHP LR.

Class 15 Ridden Pony ANY TYPE mare or gelding of, 4 years old & over, not exc 158cm. Riders ANY AGE to be suitably mounted.

WORKING HUNTER PONY See M&M section for M&M WHP
Jumps will not all be built to max height as we want riders to have a nice jump round
Class 16 Tiny Tots WHP any type plaited or M&M, 4 yrs old & over, not exc 133cms, riders not to have attained their 11th
birthday by 1st January in the current year to be suitably mounted. Maximum height fences 45cms. Judged in two
sections Riders on the Lead Rein & Riders off the Lead Rein.
Class 17 Intro Rider WH/WHP - This class is for riders any age to be suitably mounted who consider themselves either a New,
Nervous or Novice rider at WHP/WH. Riders to be in their first 2 years of WHP/WH and not won a BSPS, NPS, P(UK),
BSHA, SH(GB) affiliated class. Riders MUST enter the class in the spirit that it is intended. Mare or gelding 4 years old &
over any height & type. Jumps will be set in three heights 50cm, followed by 70cms and 80cms. You can choose which
height you jump per one entry. If you want to jump two heights that will be deemed as 2 entries. Classes may be
jumped in ascending or descending height order please ask at the collecting ring
Class 18 Novice WHP/WH not to have won a 1st prize of £15 before 1st January in the current year. Mare or gelding 4 years old
any height. Riders any age to be suitably mounted. Fences will be adjusted for each height section. Cradle Max 55cms, Nursery Max 60cms , 133cm Max 75cm, 143cm Max 85cms, 153cm Max 90cms, Over 153cm 90cms
Classes may be jumped in ascending or descending height order please ask at the collecting ring
Class 19 Open WHP/WH Mare or gelding 4 years old & over any height. Riders any age to be suitably mounted. Fences will be
adjusted for each height section. Cradle Max 60cms, Nursery Max 70cms , 133cm Max 85cm, 143cm Max 90cms,
153cm Max 100cms Over 153cm 100cms Equifest 'KBIS' WHP & Stokes Family WH. TSR, EQ Life, NCPA qualifier.
Classes may be jumped in ascending or descending height order please ask at the collecting ring
ROSETTES GALORE! 1st - 3rd Rosettes will be awarded to the 3 highest placed in each height section within classes 18 & 19
WHP/WH Championship 1st & 2nd prize winners of classes 16 - 19 to go forward. Champ goes forward to Supreme
PURE BRED/ FOREIGN BREED RIDDEN & IN HAND
Class 20 Pure Bred/Foreign Ridden Any type of recognised breed registered or unregistered, stallion, mare or gelding 4 years &
over, rider any age to be suitably mounted. TSR EQ Life, Qualifier Winner goes forward for Ridden Champ
Winner goes forward for Champ after class 20 Ring 5. British Appaloosa Society Certificate of Merit will be awarded the
highest placed BApS member with a BApS registered horse, Membership cards must be shown to claim your award.
1st & 2nd compete for Ridden Championship after class 20 Ring 5.
Class 21 Pure Bred/Foreign In Hand Any type of recognised breed to be registered or unregistered with their respective breed
society, stallion, mare or gelding, any age. TSR EQ Life, Qualifier 1st & 2nd goes forward to the In Hand Sup Champ
1st & 2nd compete for Championship after class 41 Ring 2.
PART BRED RIDDEN
Class 22 Ridden Part Bred Stallion, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over. Registered or Unregistered. Riders any age to be
suitably mounted. Class may be split if sufficient entries Equifest Part Bred. TSR, EQ Life, RL, NCPA qualifier 1st & 2nd
compete for Championship after class 20 Ring 5.
BEST HANDLER SENIOR & JUNIOR Class 23 Best Handler any age with any type/age/sex of horse/pony. When they enter the ring the class will be split into Junior
16 years & under at time of entry & Senior 17 years & over at time of entry. To be judged on the ability of the Handler
& presentation/ performance of the horse/pony. Conformation will NOT be taken into account. See rule on Juniors &
Stallions. 1st - 6th Rosettes for Junior & Senior 1st & 2nd compete for Championship after class 41 Ring 2.
COLOURED HORSE/PONY RIDDEN & IN HAND Not HOYS qualifiers
1st Rosette to the highest placed Junior Rider in classes 25-26
Class 24 Open In Hand Coloured Horse or Pony inc Spots Any type, sex, height and age.
1st & 2nd goes forward to the In Hand Supreme Champ

COLOURED HORSE & PONY OF THE YEAR - HORSE OF THE YEAR SHOW QUALIFIERS
These classes are qualifying classes for Horse of the Year Show, NEC, Birmingham, 3rd – 7th October 2018
This competition is open to mares, geldings and CHAPS (UK) graded stallions, four years old or over, to be registered in, and
complying with the showing requirements of, the main body of the stud books of the Coloured Horse and Pony Society CHAPS
(UK) or the Traditional Gypsy Cob Association (TGCA). Stallions are required to wear stallion discs in order to compete.
All Riders and owners must be Members of either the Coloured Horse and Pony Society, The Showing Register or the Traditional
Gypsy Cob Association.
For height restricted exhibits a valid JMB number must have been lodged with the respective society. Ponies in the Ridden Non
Native Pony and the Ridden Native/Cob/Traditional Pony classes (section A & B below) will be required to be in possession of a
current/valid JMB height certificate for the final, a valid JMB number must be submitted at time of entry. These classes will be
run in accordance with the general rules as set out in the HOYS rule book. Animals must be black and white or white and any
other colour with a patch of naturally occurring white coat above the level of the stifle or elbow, excluding any face markings.
Any white marking below this does not qualify. Manes and tails may also be white or have white in them. Solid colours,
appaloosa or spotted animals with belly markings do not qualify. No spurs when ridden by a junior rider or by any rider
competing in the pony sections (Non Native not exceeding 153cms, Native/Cob/Trad not exceeding 148cms) . Qualification will
not pass below 5th place. Failure to comply with any of the rules will result in the forfeit of the qualifying place.
Marks must be awarded in the following way
Ride, Manners, Way of Going - 50 maximum
Conformation and Type - 50maximum.
In the case of equality, the horse with the highest ride/performance mark will be deemed the winner. Qualification will not pass
below 5th place. Qualification will be verified by the Horse of the Year Show office. This is a Horse of the Year Show Qualifier, all

The first three horses will qualify. This class is a qualifier for the RoR OPEN In Hand Showing Series FINAL at the RoR
National Championship Show at Aintree, August 2018. Rosettes 1st - 6th. Prizes - 1st £30 plus RoR jacket, 2nd £20, 3rd
£10, 4th £10. 1st & 2nd go forward to the In Hand Supreme Championship
Class 39 RoR Jockey Club Novice Show Series Qualifier 2018. The RoR Jockey Club Novice Ridden Show Horse Class
Thoroughbred mare or gelding, 4years old or over, any height. Rider must be 15 years or over on 1st January. Horses
should be ridden in a snaffle, pelham or simple double bridle. Horses should be plaited. To take part in this class,
horses must NOT have won an open class (inc SEIB/HOYS, BSHA, SHB(GB) RoR Tattersalls Show Series Qualifier, TARRA
Ridden, RoR AMATEUR Ridden Show Series Qualifier or any other open class except RoR TBA Challenge Show Series
classes. Unaffiliated Show wins are not taken into account. Horses WILL be ridden by the judge. Horses will be stripped
for conformation. Horses may remain in Novice classes from January 1st to 31st December 2018. They are de-noviced
when they win an open class but are still eligible to compete at the RoR National Show that August. The first three go
forward to the Final at the RoR Championships, Aintree in August 2018 or 2019 for shows after 1st August 2018. All
entries MUST be registered with the RoR and have RACED in GB. The class will be run under the rules of RoR. All those
entering horses and/or participating in the show agree to be bound by the Retraining of Racehorses Rules and
Regulations from time to time in force. Please be aware that the show will split the class on the horse’s last run in a
race (NH or Flat) should the entries exceed 20. Please mark your entry form accordingly. Competitors must wear a
safety/kite mark hard hat with a chinstrap. Racing injuries and blemishes are NOT ignored in this series.
Prizes - Rosette 1st -6th and Vouchers 1-4th : 1st £50 plus voucher for jacket, 2nd 25, 3rd £20, 4th £10.
Class 40 RoR AMATEUR Ridden Show Series Qualifier Open to all RoR and NR registered horses, 4yrs and over, mares and
geldings, owned, produced and ridden by an Amateur. The Series is open to AMATEURS only – those employed in racing
will be allowed to compete. Class will be judged under ‘riding horse’ format without ‘type’ being taken into
consideration. Blemishes caused through racing will be ignored. This class is a qualifier for the RoR Amateur Ridden
Show Series FINAL. The Judge will not ride at the qualifier but will ride in the final. The first three go forward to the final
at the RoR National Championships at Aintree in August 2018 or 2019 for shows after 1st August 2018 to the 31st July
2019. Rosettes 1st - 6th. Prizes - 1st £40 plus RoR jacket, 2nd £30, 3rd £20, 4th £10
Amateur definition: An amateur is a person who for the purpose of RoR classes does not/has not during the current
season or previous season: Engage (d) in breeding, livery, buying or selling, dealing or hiring horses (for the show ring)
in a commercial capacity. Horses must not have been stabled at or reside in a Professional Producer's/Trainer's yard (in
the current season or previous season). Riders must not have ridden any animals produced by a Professional/Trainer in
the current or previous season. Horses and riders must not have received any help from a Professional
Producer/Trainer at a SHOW in the current or previous season. Horses must not have been ridden at a show by a rider
who has ridden for a Professional/Producer Trainer in the current or previous season. Any breaches of this ruling will be
taken seriously and will result in disqualification from future classes.

RIDDEN ARABS
Class 61 Novice Ridden Pure Bred Arab 4 years old & over, any height or sex. Rider any age. A Novice horse is one that has not
been placed first in three ridden classes at novice or open level at affiliated shows prior to 1 January of the current
season and/or has never qualified for HOYS . Horses that have been ridden in open classes abroad are not eligible to
enter novice classes in the UK. Spurs must not be worn in Novice classes. 1st & 2nd compete for Championship
The Maline Arabians & Powertech Ridden Arabian Star Series
This is a qualifying show for the Ridden Arabian Star Series (RASS). The highest two previously unqualified horses from within the first four in
each RASS class will qualify to enter the Championship to be held at the UKIAHS at Addington Manor equestrian centre.Open to ridden Pure
Bred Arabians 4 years and older which are registered in the correct Arab Horse Society stud book.The highest placed previously unqualified
horses within the top four placings with a current qualification will qualify for the finals. No qualification for the Series will be passed down in
the event of a qualified exhibit withdrawing for any reason.
Each horse wishing to qualify entering the class must have a RASS card which must be signed by the judge in the ring. Cards may not be
brought into the ring after the commencement of the class. Cards cost £20 and can be purchased from RASS, Blaenffos, Bwlchygroes,
Llandysul SA445JY. Please make cheques payable to ridden arabian star series. Please send SAE if paying by cheque. PayPal can also be used.

SHOW QUALIFIER
This is a Horse of the Year Show qualifier, NEC, Birmingham, 3rd - 7th October 2018. Qualification will not pass below 6th
place.
The first and second prize winners from each section will qualify for the championship. The qualifying horse will be the highest
placed horse, previously unqualified, exhibit within the Championship of the mare, stallion and gelding sections. Qualification
will be verified by the Horse of the Year Show office. These classes will be run in accordance with the general rules as set out in
the Horse of the Year Show rulebook, a copy of which can be downloaded from www.hoys.co.uk. This is a Horse of the Year
Show Qualifier, all data given upon entry of this class is provided to Grandstand Media Limited and stored on the Grandstand
Entries System. For full policy details please visit www.grandstandentries.com.
This competition is for Ridden Purebred Arabians. Owners of qualified horses must be members of the Arab Horse Society and
the horse registered in their owner’s name. The exhibit must not have previously qualified and must have an AHS Q Card
displaying the name of the horse.
AHS Q Cards cost £30 per horse per season and must be purchased at least one week before the date of the class in
which the horse will compete. AHS Q Cards are available from The Arab Horse Society, telephone 01672 521411,
www.arabhorsesociety.org. Cards may also be purchased online at www.ahsshowsandevents.com. Results will be checked and
any horse found not to have been issued with an AHS Q Card within the specified time will be deemed not to have qualified.
Qualification will then pass down to the next eligible horse within the Championship. There will be no opportunity to pay the fee
retrospectively.

TSR SHOW RULES
These rules plus the Rules & policies stated in the TSR Handbook apply to this show and all who attend
1. ENTRY FEES are NOT refundable after the close of postal entries – even with a Doctor / Veterinary Certificate. All
requests for a refund must be applied for in writing.
2. Substitution or nomination entries are NOT permitted.
3. The person who pays for the entry is then deemed as the owner of that entry. Changes of ownership must be
submitted in writing by the seller to the TSR office before any change to said entry is made.
4. All entries must be accompanied by full payment.
5. CANCELLATION OF / OR ALTERATION TO CLASSES - TSR reserves the right to cancel, divide or amalgamate or
otherwise change any class or to limit entries in any class or section from any entrant.
6. The Judges Decision is Final.
7. All times are approximate please check the updated timetable on the website before the show.
8. All Exhibitors at TSR shows are bound by the Rules as detailed in the TSR handbook. TSR reserves the right to
amend these rules when required. Exhibitors shall be deemed to have consented to all the provisions thereof by
submission of an entry to TSR.
9. No Exhibitor shall conduct himself in a manner or be guilty of behaviour which is derogatory to the character or
prejudicial to the interests of TSR and in particular (but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing) no
behaviour of an offensive, abusive or unpleasant manner to any person at any show will be tolerated.
10. No person shall ill-treat animals at any time whether by misuse/excessive use of a whip, bit or any item of
saddlery or in any other way whatsoever.
11. Failure to observe any of the rules may result in disqualification of the animal concerned and the instigation of
disciplinary proceedings by TSR, against the person breaking the rules in accordance with the disciplinary
procedure of TSR . In the event of disqualification any cup, rosette, prizes in kind or prize money will be forfeited.
12. The decision of TSR (including their employees, representatives and show officials) the Veterinary Surgeons and
any Judges upon any of the matters required by the foregoing Rules to be decided or directed by any such
persons or bodies including any question of height or soundness or want of merit or exclusion from judging or
granting of any permission or otherwise shall be final and binding in all respects and no objection shall be made
on account thereof nor shall any appeal lie there from on any ground whatever.
13. Any act of discourtesy or disobedience to any Judge, Steward or to any Show Official on the part of the
competitor groom, rider, driver or agent of an animal, will, at the discretion of such Official disqualify that animal
from being judged, in which case entry fees, prizes and charges will be forfeited. Competitors are reminded of
their responsibility for the actions of others within their party.
14. CONTAGIOUS DISEASE - All exhibitors are asked to be aware of animals on the Showground and ensure that all
exhibits are fit and well. If any exhibitor has reason to believe that an animal is unfit, please report this to the
Show Office.
15. The organisers of this show have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the Health & Safety of everyone
present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid & prevent
accidents occurring & must obey the instructions of the Organisers & all Officials & Stewards. TSR do not hold
themselves responsible for any loss or damage to persons, animals or property, prior to, during & after the
events in this schedule/programme. (a) It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to insure all property and livestock
on the Showground or elsewhere which is his own, or for which he is responsible. (b) TSR requires exhibitors to
effect Employers Liability insurance where this is required by statute.(c) TSR also requires to effect Public Liability
and Products Liability insurance with a minimum indemnity of £1,000,000 to protect their liability.
14. STALLIONS: Junior Riders of Stallions not exc 138cms - Riders must be 12 years old & over on 1st January in the
current year to ride any Stallions not exceeding 138cms or Small Breed Mountain & Moorland Stallions inc
Dartmoor, Exmoor, Shetland, Welsh Sec A & B.
B. Junior Riders of Stallions exc 138cms Riders must be 14 years & over on 1st January in the current year to
ride any Stallions exc 138cms or Large Breed M&M Stallions inc Welsh Sec C & D, Connemara, New Forest,
Highland, Fells & Dales .

15. TSR Code of Conduct for Members, Judges & Exhibitors
1. Members , judges, exhibitors and their families / agents shall NOT conduct themselves in a manner that is
derogatory to the character/perception or prejudicial to the interests of TSR, its members, exhibitors and the
wider showing community
2. Exhibitors, Members and their families / agents shall conduct themselves in the spirit of good
sportsmanship.
3. Exhibitors, Members, Judges and their families / agents shall act in a polite, courteous & respectful manner
at all times. This includes at shows and in all forms of social media/communication.
4. Judges shall officiate with integrity, honesty and fairness.
5. Judges, Members & Exhibitors shall not act in a manner that could bring the perception of judging/showing
into disrepute.
16. Welfare
I. All exhibitors/TSR Members must as a priority consider the welfare of their horses and
ponies at all times. Any person who's actions are considered to be compromising the welfare
of a horse or pony will be offered advice by the designated official. Failure to heed the
advice could result in the person/s being asked to withdraw from the show or membership
being withdrawn. Abuse to the show officials will not be tolerated and any person who
becomes abusive will be disqualified from the show or membership withdrawn.
II. No person shall ill treat animals at any time whether misuse/ excessive use of a whip, bit,
spurs or any item of saddlery or in any other way whatsoever
III. All riders must be suitably mounted for the type/height of horse/pony they ride.
