Who Attends TMAP Meetings?

Apart from the most beneficial content and learning from the best in the IP field, TMAP has over the years created an atmosphere for building long-lasting relationships across continents, and this is one of the reasons I will be registering and attending this year.

I look forward to making a difference by actively participating in the “fighting hunger, feeding hope” drive that sets a good tone for the meeting.

Draft Letter to Supervisor< Date >

Dear < supervisor’s name >,

I would like to attend the International Trademark Association’s (INTA’s) Trademark Administrators and Practitioners (TMAP) Meeting on September 12–14, 2018, in Orlando, Florida. The TMAP Meeting is the only educational event of its kind for trademark administrators and practitioners, and is regularly attended by my colleagues in the field who are helping to manage trademark portfolios.

The meeting will enable me to attend numerous educational sessions that are directly relevant to my work and will allow me to network with global experts and speakers from the INTA community. The meeting presentations are tailored for trademark administrators and practitioners, with a focus on managing a global trademark portfolio and brand protection strategies.

I kindly request approval to attend this meeting. The meeting expenses would include the registration fee and expenses. A summary of these expenses is attached.

After reviewing the meeting schedule, I have identified a number of key sessions that will allow me to gain knowledge and understanding of our team’s work. As you know, INTA’s educational sessions are high-level and are led by leaders in the field. Additionally, this meeting provides professional development to assist me with my work style and team strategy. Attached is a chart summarizing the key benefits of this meeting.

Thank you for the consideration of my request. I look forward to discussing it with you.

INTA’s TMAP Meeting provides an exceptional opportunity, particularly for administrative professionals, to hone your trademark skills in a relaxed environment. There is no better opportunity to interact and build relationships with existing and new colleagues while enjoying numerous professional seminars and social opportunities along the way. I especially enjoy the smaller social opportunities presented at the TMAP Meeting, such as the Dine-Around dinners, to connect with fellow attendees.
