Use cases for the deployable TETRA system include integration into a vehicle platform, rescue operations at natural disaster areas or on major incident sites, peace keeping operations, security management for events, and stand alone or temporary operations.

Crosshill engineers and manufactures advanced high security embedded systems to create secure proof and attack resistant military solutions in EW, SIGINT, C-SIGINT and COMSEC.
Developed solutions are protected against modern attack and tampering methods, to guarantee security and operational capabilities in all conditions. Some examples of these kind of applications are encryption systems and secure communication systems.
A customer project starts typically with the pre-study or concepting, where the system requirements, features and security levels are defined. The development work continues with embedded hardware and software design, integrating anti-tamper and tempest protection, countermeasures and cryptographic implementations.
The developed solution is
validated with several testing methods before manufacturing, secure delivery and operational use.
Crosshill provides security and attack testing services to evaluate overall security level of military embedded systems and devices. State-of-the-art passive and active testing methods are used, such as side-channel attack testing, fault injections, cryptanalysis and electromagnetic spectrum analysis.
The customer gets valuable information about the critical security vulnerabilities in hardware, low-level software and application software layers, that would endanger the entire security in the embedded system. Based on this information, we will give guidelines how to improve security, and optionally we can implement them directly for the customer.

The Taival service is based on solar-powered GPS trackers designed to be in the outdoors for up to ten years. The devices require no field service, they are sealed and energy self-sufficient.
Knowing where critical assets are, in non-permissive environments, reduces the level of physical verification required and increases operational efficiency. The impact of locating required assets quickly and with certainty; and having them available for immediate use is significant.
Taival trackers are attached by a variety of means to an asset, module or piece of equipment. The equipment then reports its location via a cellular network to the Taival cloud which in turn is integrated to the necessary GIS system in use. The tracker and cloud intelligence allows for geo-fencing and any specific intelligence and additional functionality needed.
It largely operates independently, detecting start of movement, end of movement, and transmitting its location accordingly, as well as periodically. In case of theft or misplaced assets, the system can generate alarms and records of where it was last seen and, if applicable, when it stopped communicating. All while keeping field maintenance operations to a minimum and higher situational awareness for better coordination.

ICEYE is a Finnish Space Technology company, founded in 2014 as a spin-off from Aalto University Radio Laboratories. ICEYE has secured a total of $20M in financing from governmental sources in Finland, EU and as venture capital from Silicon Valley.
ICEYE-X1 has been successfully launched and commissioned.
It is the world’s first synthetic-aperture radar (SAR) imaging capable microsatellites of under 100kg weight. Two more satellites are scheduled to be launched before the end of 2018. ICEYE will launch a constellation of 18+ satellites. This satellite constellation enables Earth observation imaging at individual locations as fast as every few hours.

UNMANNED MULE FOR THE LAST MILE SOLUTIONS Rakka 3000 is a unmanned multipurpose robotic vehicle platform designed and built to negotiate rough terrain and all weather conditions. The platform is able to carry heavy loads and may be equipped with a manipulator arm with various tools, quickly interchangeable. Rakka has a continuous 4WD drivetrain and articulated steering. An unusually high level of maneuverability is achieved with a unique active chassis. Rakka platform can transport high loads, equal to the net vehicle weight of 3000 kg, thus a 1:1 ratio.
Rakka is powered by a modern diesel engine/ electric coupled with hydraulic pumps for a
closed loop hydraulic drivetrain and load-sensing working hydraulics. The hydrostatic transmission allows both high tractive force and maximum speed.

The Analytics suite is resilient. Data is separated from operations and not necessarily dependent on the systems. We will routinely collect data, but we don’t have to – we can also leave the data collection to other parties, thus giving them control over what they choose to share.

from GPS is used to determine the location of the road in question and data from the accelerometer together with the user provided feedback is used to determine the condition of the road.
