MEET PROFESSIONALS FROM AROUND THE WORLD AT THE PREMIERE EVENT FOR MEDICAL LIABILITY!

2

The agenda is packed with outstanding sessions, including a keynote presentation from Amitabh Chandra, Professor of Public Policy and Director of Health Policy Research, Harvard Kennedy School of Government. He will discuss the three major challenges that confront U.S. healthcare: access, quality, and medical innovation. In addition, industry experts will share knowledge on apology and early communication and resolution programs from a global perspective, the growth of telehealth and its impact on medical liability, medical liability claims trends and new exposures, and much more.

The PIAA Medical Liability Conference is open to the public—so every one of the professionals who play a role in the MPL industry can join in. You’ll meet chief executive officers, chief operat-ing officers, chairs and board members, senior managers and other insurance professionals, patient safety and risk management experts, actuaries, and corporate and defense counsel. There will be physicians, dentists, and other healthcare professionals, too. Executives from the companies that provide essential goods and services for MPL are regular attendees as well.

Our speakers, from the U.S. and abroad, are widely acknowledged as the top experts in their fields. Their presentations represent the full range of topics necessary for the depth of coverage you’re looking for in an industry event. You can ask questions, make comments, and hear what they have to say on the issues that matter most to you. Dollar for dollar, this conference is the best value out there for anyone with a stake in MPL. You’ll see more, learn more, and do more with the leading authorities on MPL insurance, patient safety and risk management, and the delivery of healthcare.

In the Conference Exhibit Hall, you’ll find out first-hand about the newest and hottest industry products and services. This is also a great place to meet with your colleagues, make new connec-tions, find new business contacts, and exchange information vital to you—and your organization.

The 2018 PIAA Medical Liability Conference, May 16-18 in Orlando, brings together hundreds of

professionals who work in insurance and alternative risk transfer, all looking to gain new insights on the global and

day-to-day issues facing medical, hospital, and dental liability insurance companies, risk retention groups, captives, trusts, and

other entities. The Conference will address the topics you need to know about, and understand, to stay current in the fast-paced

medical professional liability (MPL) insurance sector. There’s no better place to learn firsthand about the challenges that will impact your orga-

nization’s business—today, tomorrow, and beyond.
