A little history lesson...Kinetic Kids was formed in 2001. There was only one sports team that year and just twelve kids who simply wanted a chance to play ball. Two physical therapists saw the need and Kinetic Kids was born. Eighteen years later, we offer 230 programs and serve more than 3,687 children with special needs right here in San Antonio.
We Are Unique...- We believe ALL children, including those who
might otherwise be excluded, should be able to participate in sports and recreational activities.
- We provide therapists at every program to ensure the safety of our Kinetic Kids.
- We serve all children with special needs, regardless of their disability.
- We also turn no one away for inability to pay.
How You Can Help...We invite you to play a part in creating “star” moments for the 3,500 children with special needs served by Kinetic Kids in programs designed and implemented by therapists. Our success would not be possible without the generosity of the community in which we live. Hootenanny is our biggest fundraiser of the year and allows us to continue to serve the needs of children with disabilities. Please consider attending this fun-filled event and sponsoring a table for your family, friends, organization or corporate outreach. Not able to attend? You can still support Kinetic Kids by securing an underwriting opportunity. We look forward to hoot ‘n’ hollerin’ good time!
