Purdue University, West Lafayette
CGPA: 3.78 (on 4) 2017 – Spring 2018
Bachelor of Technology – Mechanical Engineering: VIT University, Chennai CGPA: 9.14 (on 10) 2013-2017
PROJECTS
1. Structural Analysis of Box Wing: General wing structure of fighters operating at 1g condition designed with variable airfoil sectionsin SOLIDWORKS. This design is meshed using shell elements and numerical analysis is carried out using ABAQUS. The stress levelsalong different sections were validated and verified using theoretical shell beam calculation and references
2. Noise Reduction Techniques for Micro propellers of UAV: Micro propeller designs were experimentally tested and numericallyanalyzed for noise levels. Large eddy Simulation (LES) was carried out in FLUENT and the numerical results were matched withacoustic readings obtained experimentally. Meshing was done in ICEM CFD. 5dB noise reduction by techniques suggested.

ing FractalsAdvisor Prof. Fabio Semperlotti, Herrick Labs, Purdue University
PhDResearch
We are developing an unified approach for Multiscale analysis of dynamic loadbearing structures using fractional order models. This approach removes thesingularities associated with crack/discontinuities, solving the problem of highcomputational time usually encountered in multi-scale FE based analysis.
2014–2015 Reduced order model for transient analysis of aeroelastic vibrationin high aspect ratio wings
Master’sThesis
We developed a reduced order coupled wing fuselage model for simulating thetransient aeroelastic vibrational response of flexible, high aspect ratio wings, operating under unsteady aerodynamic loading conditions. The formulationwas used to analyse various loading conditions and aircraft configurations, withspecial emphasis on UAVs.
