2018 FISHING TRIP CALENDAR

Trip 1 – 10th

March 2018 - Leslie Dam Jack & Jill, fishing from 6am to 6pm on Saturday with the weigh-

in and BBQ at the camp grounds on Saturday evening.

Trip 2 – 16th

March 2018 – 25th

March 2018 - Commencement of Block 1 fishing – 1 x Free For All trip

is allowed on either a Friday or Saturday between these dates. Please notify the Club Captain the night

before you intend on going fishing to be eligible to weigh fish in. If you wish to pull out due to bad weather

on that weekend you have until 8am on the day you intended on fishing to notify the club captain for this trip

not to count towards the allocated number of trips for that block period. Fishing times for the Friday are 6am

Friday to 1pm Saturday. Fishing times for Saturday are 6am Saturday to 1pm Sunday. Sunday morning

fishing is allowed if you advise the club captain by Saturday afternoon that you intend on going just for the

morning up until 1pm Sunday. Weigh-in will be at 3pm on Sundays at a location advised closer to dates.

Trip 3 – 15th

April 2018 – Maroon Dam Morning Trip – Fishing from 6am to 12pm on Sunday with a

weigh-in at the dam. Members are more than welcome to bring a BBQ lunch along on the day for a social

lunch after the weigh in.

Trip 4 – 20

th April 2018 - Block 2 Fishing - 1 x Free For All fishing trips are allowed

between these dates. All other details as per details of Block 1 fishing period apply. Weigh-in will be at 3pm

on Sundays at a location advised closer to dates.

Trip 5 – 12th

May 2018 – Jacobs Well Camp Over - Free for All fishing from 6am to 6pm and camping at

Jacobs Well Caravan Park. Weigh In at Jacobs Well Caravan Park Kitchen Area.

Trip 6 – 18th

May 2018 – 10th

June 2018 - Block 3 Fishing - 2 x Free For All fishing trips are allowed

between these dates. All other details as per details of Block 1 fishing period apply. Weigh-in will be at 3pm

on Sundays at a location advised closer to dates.

Trip 7 – 16th

June 2018 – King Catch. Same boundaries as previous years. Weigh in times and dates will be

notified closer to trip.

Trip 8 – 22nd

June 2018 – 15th

July 2018 - Block 4 Fishing - 2 x Free For All fishing trips are allowed

between these dates. All other details as per details of Block 1 fishing period apply. Weigh-in will be at 3pm

on Sundays at a location advised closer to dates.

Trip 9 – 21st & 22

nd July 2018 - Rosebowl – Boundaries to be advised closer to the event. Weigh in at 1pm

at the Beaudesert Show Grounds Tin Shed.

Trip 10 – 27th

July 2018 – 5th

August 2018- Block 5 Fishing - 1 x Free For All fishing trips are allowed

between these dates. All other details as per details of Block 1 fishing period apply. Weigh-in will be at 3pm

on Sundays at a location advised closer to dates.

Trip 11 – 11th

August 2018 – Somerset Dam Camp Over – Free for all fishing from 6am to 6pm and

camping at Lake Somerset Holiday Park. Weigh in at Holiday Park.

Trip 12 – 17th

August 2018 – 7th

October 2018 - Block 6 Fishing - 3 x Free For All fishing trips are

allowed between these dates. All other details as per details of Block 1 fishing period apply. Weigh-in will

be at 3pm on Sundays at a location advised closer to dates.

Trip 13 – 13th

October 2018 – Coolmunda Dam Jack & Jill, fishing from 6am to 6pm on Saturday with a

weigh in and BBQ on Saturday evening at Lake Coolmunda Caravan Park.

Junior Presentation – 27th

October 2018 – Wyaralong Dam, Bromelton

Senior Presentation – 10th November 2018 from 5pm at Beaudesert Tennis Club
