CONVENTION REGISTRATION DESKThe Convention Registration Desk will be open throughout the Convention. If you have any questions, please stop by the desk, the ASBI staff is eager to be of assistance.
HOTEL CHECK-OUTHotel check-out time is 12:00 p.m., so please make arrangements to have the Bell Desk hold your bags until your departure.
CELL PHONESPlease be sure to turn off your cell phone during the session. Cellular conversations and phone ringing during a presentation is very distracting to both the speaker and your colleagues.
SPECIAL MEALSIf you pre-registered for special meals, look for your ticket behind your name badge. Please present the ticket to your server at the beginning of each meal function.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT HOURSProfessional Engineers will receive Professional Development Hours for use in meeting Professional Engineering Registration requirements. Attendees must complete a PDH/CEU Tracking Form and return to registration or e-mail to ASBI to receive a certificate. All certificates will be emailed after the conclusion of the Convention along with a final attendee list.
ASBI has met the standards and requirements of the Registered Continuing Education Program. Credit earned on completion of this program will be reported to RCEP at RCEP.net. A certificate of completion will be issued
to each participant. As such, it does not include content that may be deemed or construed to be an approval or endorsement by the RCEP.
SUGGESTED ATTIREConvention – Business casual is the recommended dress. The meeting rooms may be cool, so a sweater or light jacket is recommended. Name badges must be worn during all Convention events.

The Museum of Science and IndustryThe largest science center in the Western Hemisphere, is home to more than 35,000 artifacts and nearly 14 acres of hands-on experiences designed to spark scientific inquiry and creativity. Since opening their doors in 1933, they’ve welcomed more than 180 million guests from around the world. Their mission, to inspire the inventive genius in everyone by presenting captivating and compelling experiences that are real and educational, is realized through world-class exhibits such as: Science Storms, an exhibit revealing the science behind some of nature’s most powerful phenomena; YOU! The Experience, an exhibit that lets you explore what it means to live a vital, healthy life in the 21st century; and the U-505 Submarine, the only German U-boat in the United States.
